We liked. True, clients are people who do not always think rationally. Somehow it happened that the opinion about the hotel was not very good - and everyone with whom we talked did not respond very well either. Moreover, they did not respond very definitely - here, in other places, they say, the service is better. What it was, they found it difficult to say. On the other hand, on one excursion, residents of another hotel (4 stars) also complained. They also had Yupi instead of juice. In principle, according to advertising items - everything is more or less the same, except for cleaning. But there were people from Moldova - they had almost fresh juices in their advertisements, which was not observed.
Quality of service. I have been to different countries, but on vacation abroad - the first time, so it's hard for me to judge. The staff neither in Russian nor in English is not very good. When I asked the receptionist to speak English, she said, "Oh, but no problem. " But she couldn't say anything. Some of the lads-waiters spoke Russian a little bit. But in general, I did not see a problem in this at all - there were no special questions. As we settled in, after that we didn’t really intersect with the staff (except for the waiters).
In some booklets it was written - cleaning every day, change of towels - every three days, and linen - I don't remember. As a cleaning, they took away the trash from their baskets and made the bed a couple of times. Towels and linen were never changed. Again, it’s not a problem for me, one friend from Denmark told me: “Well, why do they (at the Dnepr Hotel in Cherkassy) change their linen so often? I don’t change clothes so often at home. ” But, perhaps, according to the standards, it was necessary to do all this more often.

The service in the canteen is good (but they only cleaned). But normal lads, without rudeness, as some write. On the contrary, the waiters were quite friendly.
Rooms. We got the 6th floor. Probably recently renovated. So the rooms are good. Not fancy, but pretty good. The bathroom/toilet is fine too. On the other floors, as far as I understand, everything is a bit older. The water was always hot. Bed linen is also good. The air conditioner is working. Only when you leave, you pull out the key from a special device and then the electricity is turned off. It's nothing but the air conditioner can't be left on. But that's part of the plan, I take it.
Shore. The coast, I would say, is the weakest part. The beach is sandy but dirty. They would remove it, then it would be better. But the most unpleasant thing is that when entering the sea, large stones lie along the water's edge. This strip is 3 meters wide. So it is not very convenient to go into the sea, especially for children who are younger. Again, this is not a big problem. We walked about 100 meters towards the city center - there was a large public beach. Again, not very clean - approximately like we have on the Dnieper in Cherkasy, and maybe a little dirtier. But wide and half empty. So everything was fine.
As far as I understand, beaches or all, or almost all, are considered urban. Only some hotels have their own berths - sun loungers there and all that. That is, the beach was not private (or I misunderstood something). In any case, access to it, like other beaches, was open to everyone.

Nutrition. People also complained about the food. Mostly there were vegetables - zucchini, eggplant, cabbage. Meat dishes - at lunchtime and in the evening, a Turkish comrade stood with a ladle and gave out meat in portions. You could ask for more, but it was inconvenient to fill a full plate. Some people yearned for meat food. I personally was fine. Again, not fancy, but good. No one died of hunger. Of the fruits were only melons and local oranges. Maybe the choice is not rich, but the oranges were superb - despite the greenish appearance, they are very sweet. There were no juices. Instead, it's an instant drink like Jupi. Water - drink as much as you want, just don't fill bottles. Plus - coca-cola, fanta, sprite, some local soda (not very tasty), beer, vodka or something like that (but we are not drinkers). On the beach - a bar with water and the same "Yupi". In general, as for food, I understand that this is, so to speak, a budget option.
There was no animation at all. True, we did not need this. On the contrary, I don't like it. Once some "leather factory" arrived and showed jackets and sheepskin coats, and a lady danced a belly dance. That was the animation.
Our youngest (6 years old) loved it. The eldest (12) also liked it, but she heard enough how others complained - and let's complain to ourselves. Not much like that, but like: "Here, next time we'll go to another hotel" and all that. But she will always find something to complain about with us, so this is not an indicator.
In general, whoever looks for flaws will always find them. But he himself will suffer from this - from the first days to worry that everything is bad is no longer a vacation. So do not strain - the ass in this hotel is not brought into the corners (excuse the expression), but otherwise - you can live.
P. S. We saw how the commercial was filmed. The beach was leveled, the sunbeds were lined up, the comrade with the ladle was dressed in a white uniform. In general, as when a general visits a military unit.
