This year the trip abroad turned out to be unplanned, so there was no time to choose a hotel based on the price-quality principle. Having made an advance payment at the travel agency (beautiful photos of the hotel were presented, plus the first coastline), at home I got to the reviews on the Internet and was horrified... But the money had already been paid and I reassured myself that, perhaps, the reviews were written by spoiled people and "flared". I rested in Crete at 4 *, in Side at 4 * and thought that I knew what to expect, but I was deeply mistaken...
I state everything in order, so that potential tourists know what to be prepared for. At the reception, I met a guy with a "sour" expression on his face, despite the gift of a smile or a successful resettlement, it did not work out - he sent us 4 times, then after 40 minutes come up, then after an hour, then after half an hour. As a result, by 14.00 we were given the key, we went into the room and experienced a shock: the walls were worn out, with crushed mosquitoes (see photo), the curtains on the windows were dirty, the towels were worn out, with holes (see photo), the air conditioner did not drive cold air, the remote control from the TV is missing, the window is broken and does not close at all, the lock on the balcony door does not work, the lamps partially did not work, the view from the balcony to the household courtyard of the neighboring hotel. By the way, mosquitoes are a serious problem there - in the evening the balcony cannot be opened because of them. We had a voucher for 4 people, there were only 3 places and the same number of towels, shampoos and soaps in general for 2 people.
In a few days, by repeated calls to the reception, some of these problems were eliminated. Cleaned and changed towels and bedding for 13 days only 1 time and then when we ourselves dragged the maid into the room. Toilet paper was periodically asked for.

So much has already been written about terrible food - the smell of stewed kidneys just turned back. Only in the evening it was possible to take non-soybean meat on the grill after standing in line for half an hour and God forbid to come for 40 minutes. after the start of dinner, you can not get in line, it’s still not enough. The same thing with fruit - no one was in a hurry to change empty trays for filled ones.
The situation reached its apogee the day before our departure, when everyone was given an invitation to a holiday check, where they were given a laptop and asked to write a review about the hotel. She wrote: "the territory is green and compact, there are 2 turtles, the animators are funny, the food is not tasty, they clean it once every 6 days. " They removed my review immediately. To my question: what did I write wrong? they began to shout that because of this no one else would come to them, only positive reviews should be written. The position was this: everything is fine with us, and whoever disagrees is the enemy. Gathered new arrivals and asked them to write good reviews in exchange for resettlement in good rooms until 14.00. It's good that we left the next day - after our review, we immediately became non grata persons - the cola at the bar was over for us, the waiters defiantly did not clean our table, the staff threw hostile glances in our direction or laughed, saying something to each other over -turkish. There was a feeling that we arrived at the hotel for free at all and everyone was just waiting for us to leave as soon as possible.
In short, there is no service and pleasant memories from the hotel.
