Shopping in the village of Konakli ( Turkey ) .
I know in advance that many will disagree with me, since people have different tastes and needs, but still I want to write my opinion. Turkey has always been associated with quality things. And I think I'm not the only one who wants to combine a beach holiday with shopping. But.....having visited the resort village of Konakli, I came to the conclusion to distinguish between holidays in resort towns with shopping. Maybe once upon a time it was possible to buy quality things there (I don’t know), but now most of the shops in the village reminded me of the Cherkizovsky market. It seems that Turkish sellers are trying to bring cheaper goods to the resorts, and not factory ones. In one of the shops I was even offered to change the marriage on the spot. I was shocked! I also met several women's blouses and men's jumpers one to one, as the Chinese sew in our basements and then are sold in our Russian markets. In vain I tried to find high-quality women's sneakers made of natural suede. straps are not made of leather. One of these even had a thin layer of oilcloth peeled off a little. There is no choice of bags and jackets either. . Yes, you can buy bathrobes, sweatshirts and jeans there, if you are pre-configured that the quality is the same as in our markets. You can even find jeans and men's T-shirts of very good quality. But it's not what I expected. Maybe my requirements and expectations are always higher than necessary? ! My opinion is that quality Turkish things are sold only in Istanbul. And then only in those stores where local residents buy. (I’ll have to check it somehow. After all, good Turkish things are brought to us from somewhere. For example, women’s dresses. I didn’t find them there. ) But this is just my opinion. I don't force it on anyone. The only thing I want to advise Russian tourists. Exchange rubles not for dollars, but for euros or their Turkish liras. I assure you, it is more profitable!! !
