Although what to include here, I was so happy about the upcoming vacation that even if all the children on the plane started to roar at the same time, it still would not ruin my REST anticipation. The fact is that I have not been on vacation since 2017, i. e. since my last review about the My Garden hotel in Alanya (for the review of which I have more than 5000 thousand views, THANK YOU, dear tourists, I really appreciate it ), so I was really looking forward to it - a vacation. I wanted to go to the sea. Pure. Mediterranean. My. I wish I knew what adventures await us in Alanya. . .


At our permanent agency, we chose a package with a flight there at 8.00 am. I think it's insanely late, but what can you do... the departure date of 04.06 was very suitable for us, I previously really liked the hotel. The first line, all green,

small but cozy territory… Azur Air left almost on time, approximately at 8.30, but given the charter, this is not a delay, it is almost perfect. There was no food on the plane, of course, you know…just drinks. We flew in, got our luggage, and immediately decided to be considered smart and exchange dollars for lira. So, people, do not change money at the airport. We were stupid, we hurried. They exchanged $50, and the exchange rate turned out to be terrible - for $1 it was around 4-plus liras. The cunning Turk offered us to immediately exchange $100, like at a better rate, but we refused. At the exit from the airport, we stomped to look for our tour operator, Anex Tour. To be honest, before that I flew twice with Tez Tour and was very pleased, but, as we understood, Tez Tour does not go to this hotel. Anex so Anex. I prayed that everything would be fine. We were met, quickly registered for the bus, and when we approached, we were told that they were waiting only for us, we could already leave. It was nice.

So the first impression of Anex was positive. We were told that there were 6 hotels ahead of us, and our "green paradise" was the last one on the arrival list. Please note that we boarded the bus at 11.40. This is Alanya, and I understood that there was a three-hour drive ahead. On the way, we were taken to some insanely expensive gas station, where we spent the first money. My young man took shawarma (he praised it, very tasty, in Kyiv he eats it very rarely) for 50 liras, and I took french fries for 25 liras. We had a long road ahead of us, and with the most positive estimates, we still did not have time for lunch. It was unrealistic. All the way behind us, a young teenage girl talked quite loudly with her mother, in the end it somehow started to strain a little, because I really wanted to sleep after an almost sleepless night at the airport and on the plane. When we arrived, it seems to the fifth hotel,

the bus driver began to unload the next suitcases and help the next tourists to take them to the hotel. And suddenly this girl screams: “Mom, these are our suitcases! ". In short, people, be careful. The driver and guide grabbed the wrong suitcases by mistake, and those people did not pay any attention to what kind of suitcases they were brought to the hotel. Your suitcases are your problems. We arrived at our hotel around 2:30 pm.


Settling in. Take 1

We were met at the reception, put on bracelets, took our passports with a voucher and, of course, were asked to wait. It was possible to leave the suitcases in a special room and walk around the territory, which we did. The territory really turned out to be very green, beautiful and inspiring. In general, I want to note that, it seems to me, this is a hotel for those who like to be closer to the ground. Because everything here was so small, cozy and cute. We walked around the hotel and returned.

Nevertheless, fatigue after the flight affected. I wanted to lay down. We reminded the staff about ourselves, sat down nearby, and the “grand” thought came to my mind that they were expecting dumb money from us. Which, in fact, I shared with my boyfriend. To which he replied: “To hell with it, we paid everything in Kyiv. ” In principle, he was right, but I am an experienced person and I know that they don’t just keep at the reception. Some time passed, they called us and, apologizing, said in Russian that there had been some kind of mistake, and now they do not have numbers. Well, that is, in general, there are numbers, but we will not like them, no. And we don't have to go there. But we rested: give us the keys, we'll go and have a look. By the way, this hotel does not have a porter, so please bring your own suitcases. And we went to look at the room. Frankly, it could have been worse. I expected the worst. And there were specifically three main drawbacks - windows overlooking the road,


a lopsided cornice and a very small footage of the room itself. It was a ground floor room with no balcony and there was a staff room next to it. By the way, the bathroom was even in very good condition. Clean and new. And there was hot water. Unfortunately, there were no photos left, we were under the impression and did not think of taking a picture. By the way, when we were told that there were no rooms, we were immediately invited to the administration room and began to offer to move to the Magnolia Hotel for one night (here I remembered all the terrible reviews that I read about this hotel), and tried to show photos. To which I replied that we read reviews on the Internet about this hotel and we were not impressed. In general, we chose Green Paradise. After the words that I read the reviews, the staff got bored, and they agreed to provide us with the keys to the room that did not impress us. On the way back to the reception, we decided that we would offer our own option, if they so want to move us,

then we agree to settle in this room, and the next day move to a better room. But the joke was that, as it turned out, if we want to get a better room at Green Paradise, then we need to accept their offer and move to Magnolia for one night. But if we settle in the room that we, of our own free will, agreed to see, then we will stay in it until the end of the vacation. By the way, this is a hotel chain (Green Paradise, Green Land, Magnolia), so, of course, dinner and breakfast will be free. Well, if only they were paid. All this time, dear tourists, I had such an expression on my face, from which the staff was not madly delighted. For they understood that someone was tough, and, most likely, this is their side. Just then our guide Jeanne came, whom we met and immediately explained the situation. And they asked questions. About the fact that who guarantees us relocation to this hotel the next day. By the way, of those who were unlucky right at that moment,

we were not alone, but also this woman with an active daughter. They were also moved, the only difference was that they were for two nights, because they arrived for a longer period, and we were for one night. After signing the necessary papers stating that we were moving of our own accord, that we had no complaints about the hotel, etc. , the four of us were loaded into a small minibus and we drove to Magnolia. For we saw no other choice. We were promised that it was not far to go here, ten minutes maximum, but it felt like it was not ten minutes, but all twenty-five. Or is it the fear of not knowing what will be there in that hotel. Upon arrival, Magnolia was better than we thought, better than the reviews I had read. Well, at least at first glance. We were met at the reception, they knew about everything, and in just a couple of minutes we were given cards from the rooms. We have already photographed this number so that you, dear tourists, can see

where exactly and in what conditions we were settled. By the way, it was a family room, with fairly decent furniture, not new, but updated, it was clear that a lot of things were painted and brought to a more or less normal look. The bathroom, by the way, was amazing, practically new, and until I went to take a shower, everything was fine. When I moved the shower door, such a long thin white thing fell off from its edge. I don’t know what it’s called, but, in short, I tried to pin it back, and somehow it worked out. If you think that this caused some anger in me, then no. There was no more strength to get angry, swear and scream. And desires. I wanted to lie down somewhere, finally, and - on the sea. We decided to combine and lie down near the sea. The hotel was very urban, that is, there were many other hotels nearby, the windows did not look out to the sea, the windows looked out onto the windows of another hotel, it was far from the first line, but you remember, right? - One dinner. One night. One breakfast.


Strictly by 9.30 am we were told to be at the reception and expect a return transfer. And the beach was also very urban and crowded. At least we did not dare to go swimming together. Well, there were a lot of people. It reminded me of Crimea many years ago. It's like I've stepped back into my childhood. Because for parents with small children, it is probably ideal there. There is sand and shallow water. And there are also cool wide canopies, from which it is very good to hide in extreme heat. And free sun beds with mattresses. We swam separately, dried off a bit, and decided that it was time to go to the room to get dressed for dinner. It was very interesting how things are going with food in this hotel. Moreover, the preliminary reviews did not inspire me. I want to note that the territory of the Magnolia hotel is tiny. And the only thing they "ride", in my opinion, is the number of shops and entertainment outside the territory. There is kind of a place to go. a certain type of people,

this might come in handy. By the way, even our hotel staff presented this to us as a huge plus of the Magnolia hotel and as a minus of Green Paradise. Like, "green paradise" is on the outskirts and it's boring there. It seems that I was in Turkey for the first time and just sat for almost a month and shoveled a bunch of hotels. I was looking for comfort, harmony and solitude. We are quite young, but at the same time we are very quiet people who are looking for peace and quiet on vacation. This is in line with the common stereotype that if a young couple comes to a travel agency, then they definitely need to be offered a noisy hotel in which music will be blaring until late at night. I must say right away that there are no such claims to our travel agency, I argue in principle. Something I digress. So. By the way, Magnolia has the only large building in which elevators work, everything is ok, there is marble and beauty around, no complaints. The main restaurant is located on the ground floor. The advantage of this hotel, by the way, is that

that some of their seats are in the building, some on the open terrace. Later I will explain why I brought this to your attention. For food: a lot of salads, freshly cut vegetables, there was fish, meat, soy nuggets, pasta from side dishes, there were also casseroles, some traditional Turkish dishes... Nothing super amazing, but the food we ate was fresh, adequate. As usual, also for dinner there was a Turkish sweet, well, coffee-tea-cappuccino. What I noticed, and what was unpleasant to me, was that they didn't have cups and saucers for tea/coffee. Only cardboard cups and the same sticks. And accordingly, there were no teaspoons. It hurt my eyes, to be honest. Upon the arrival of people for dinner, it was clear that the hotel was ninety percent full, so the forks and knives ended at the speed of light. The restaurant staff was pleasantly surprised, because they took away the dishes very quickly. This is remembering reviews. As a result, I went to ask for a fork.

I was pleasantly surprised that the waiter, not understanding what I needed, called the Russian-speaking manager, who realized that I needed a fork, instantly drove me to the kitchen and, smiling with all thirty-two teeth, handed me a fork. By the way, not with bare hands, but in a napkin. For diligence and attention I put 5. After dinner on the terrace, we moved under another canopy to drink coffee / cappuccino. Right next to it there was a small animation stage, on which the children were already slowly starting to entertain. We lazily sipped drinks from vending machines, ate sweets and finally relaxed a little. Then a woman suddenly approached us and began to ask who we were and when we arrived. We immediately guessed that now there would be some proposals for something, and so it basically turned out to be. She offered hammams at Magnolia. So that she would not waste her energy in vain, we said that we were here for one night and that we were leaving tomorrow. She got upset and left. We are,


tired wandered into the room. We were so tired that we only had enough strength to collect some things that we took out of our suitcases and for a shower.

In the morning, when we woke up, we went to breakfast. For breakfast at Magnolia: hard-boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, pancakes, fresh vegetables, fresh bread, butter and chocolate, honey, jams, in short, we ate. There were very few people at breakfast. Or maybe we had breakfast very early. For at 9.00 we have already finished. We returned, collected our things and stomped to the reception. We left Magnolia clearly and on time. The unknown lay ahead again.

The way back somehow took less time. And the mood was more positive. The sun was shining, the birds were singing. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were again asked to wait. But this time, wait not only until the room is prepared, but also until other tourists gather to meet with the guide. We were not impressed at all by this topic,

First of all, we wanted to settle in normally, and only then think about some excursions. In the end, after the general persuasion of our guide, we finally went to the billiard room for a meeting. First, Zhanna told general information about Turkey, then everything related to the return flight, and then went on excursions. Frankly, during this meeting, Anex disappointed. I'll tell you my personal impressions. When we traveled with another tour operator, the meeting was assigned to us personally, and we did not have to wait for all the other tourists to gather for this meeting. They clarified with us when it would be convenient for us to come, and they settled us without any problems on the same day. Therefore, it was all somehow more gently experienced. I understand, of course, that it is easier to gather all the tourists once, tell everything once and then not worry about this issue. But if we are adults, and a little more patient, then there were tourists (grandmother,


mother and daughter) who could not wait, because the little one is 2.5 years old and it is difficult for her to sit still, waiting for some people to come up. It was we who started the meeting quickly, only fifteen minutes after we planned to start it. Not only did we miss the first day, to put it mildly, we had to wait for these people, then sit through the entire meeting. It was enough to obligatory tell the information on the return flight, and two words that we would not go out to sunbathe in the strong sun, would not hang out with strangers and would not do stupid things. And at that moment we were just losing our money. Oh yes, we have no complaints about Anex, Green Paradise Beach and Magnolia hotels. But I expressed my opinion.

Our number. With difficulty waiting for the end of the meeting with the guide, we ran to get settled in the room. You know, to be honest, everything was even better than we thought, because after our adventures it was already scary to think. Although, in our room, the cornice was skewed.

They have a common problem. As well as problems with flushing the toilet. Everywhere this drain was the same, both in the room and in the toilet near the reception. And everywhere he is somehow weak. Therefore, I ask the hotel management to pay attention to this. Here I am already smoothly moving directly to the decoration of the room. The room was clean, tidy, there were no cockroaches, the furniture was not super - new, but decent. So, in the room there were: a double bed, a TV, a bedside table on each side, a fairly large closet, a dressing table with a large mirror, a wide ottoman, air conditioning (old, but working), a couple of open shelves for things, a refrigerator (working), curtains and tulle on the windows. The room was in shades of green and beige. The bathroom was decent, not the newest but adequate. Remembering the bathroom at the Magnolia Hotel, nothing fell off. A wide washbasin, as I like, for example, (there is a place to put all your jars),


a shower cabin (a bathroom is useless), a toilet bowl, a set of towels, which, by the way, were brought after we asked, and by the way, there were no towels on the floor under our feet at all. Or the cleaners also forgot to report. But we have already somehow tried to survive this moment. Also from the room there was access to a small balcony, where there were a couple of plastic chairs, and a small table. Everything is standard here. The view from the balcony was global to the sea, if you look far away, and directly, if you look close, to the pool with a slide. This is the pool near which there are discos, parties, music, etc. Music played during the day, animation was very well audible in the evening, but strictly until 23.00. Therefore, if you are traveling with small children, or if you want more silence, check at this point, if you want it to be quieter, it is better to ask for rooms near the second "quiet" pool. But again, the main thing here is, if you are generally settled in Green Paradise the first time,

and then, as it were, with these crossings, you don’t want anything later. (see travel section)

Beach and Sea. Having thrown our things, and changed clothes, we decided to go to the sea. It is in a straight line and nearby, we could see the sea from the balcony. Really the first line, very close. This hotel has its own beach, and so cozy. Well, this is just what I was looking for. True, there were enough sun loungers and mattresses back to back. But we are simple people, we can lie down with one mattress for the first ten minutes, and then, when we see a free one, we can run after him. Let me remind you that we were at the beginning of June. But there were enough people in the hotel. What I didn’t really like was the lack of wide awnings from the sun (such wide awnings, by the way, were on the beach at the Magnolia Hotel). There were miserable umbrellas, and of course from the strong sun they helped little. In terms of cleanliness: the beach is clean, tidy, and quite secluded, the workers clean up, and what is very nice, they even manage to protect nature.


several types of casseroles with vegetables, for meat - fried wings or paws, or chicken pieces, also about a day later there was fried fish, just don’t ask which one, I won’t say, I don’t know. It was delicious, satisfying, fresh, as for the food, we were very pleased. As for the stomach, we felt great. In the bar, as usual in Turkey, cold drinks were poured: sprite, cola, fanta. Also on the tables were Turkish sweets, tea / coffee, and water in the cooler. By the way, there were cups and saucers. And little spoons. ))) Yes, yes, I am an esthete. After dinner there was an afternoon snack, cookies and cakes were put on the table near that very loud pool. Also nearby in the bar, please take it and pour yourself tea-coffee-cappuccino-water. And right there next to it is paid ice cream for $1, sort of. But I don’t know exactly why, we didn’t take it. But definitely for the money. Dinner on a variety of food was similar to lunch, everything is very tasty, satisfying and plentiful. There were a lot of people, the hotel was quite full,

You feel like you are out of town. Let me remind you that there are 2 pools, 1 slide, and several 4- and 5-storey buildings on the territory. The reception is also located in a low building, close to shops, one bar is located near the noisy pool, the other - near the main restaurant.

Services. Already returning to the room, we decided to go through the reception and clarify something with the staff. Seeing us, our guide, almost forgetting about the tourists with whom she was talking at that moment, rushed to us and tried to please us, saying that she had a surprise for us. To which we replied that, in principle, there are already enough surprises, and can we just quietly continue to relax? But no. As a result, we signed papers stating that we have no claims against the hotel and the tour operator, and as compensation, we agree to receive wi-fi internet for 5 days (for one device! ), And a safe for the whole time. Of course, it was nice, because the prices in the hotel for the Internet and the safe are not quite

shall we say, democratic. And by the way, when we were driving, we knew that the Internet was paid, so we connected ourselves to roaming for a week just in case.

Entertainment. In the morning there was exercise on the beach, and "water" exercise near the "loud" pool. Also around 15.00 hours in the loud pool, tourists were playing water ball games. In the evening there was a standard animation, we didn’t really visit it, so I can’t really comment on it. They came, perhaps, to watch the Turkish night. At the same time, we repeatedly went out for a walk outside the hotel to buy souvenirs and see what is next to the hotel. If you leave the territory of the hotel, then if you go immediately to the right, you can cross the road there, on the other side there will be a lot of shops and shops, and you can also look at other hotels. We bought a lot of everything: sweets, and tea, and olive oil, and such useful things to someone as, for example, a lighter.


The hotel is really located in a secluded area, and compared to the same Magnolia and its location, it is quite quiet. Therefore, think about what attracts you more and what is closer to you.

Eviction and departure. The night before, when we arrived at the reception, we found all the information we needed, that is, when and what time they would pick us up. Therefore, we first collected all the things, and even went to bed to sleep at least a couple of hours before the flight. At the appointed time, we were already standing outside, waiting for the bus. I had to wait literally +5 minutes from the declared time and the bus was already in place. In fact, we left on time, arrived at the airport on time too, except that the flight was again delayed by about half an hour, but given that this is a charter, everything is fine.

To summarize: every time you go to a hotel, you need to understand very clearly where and for what money you are going. Of course, if you stupidly walk and look for flaws,

you can easily find them in any hotel. It was worth the money, in fact it is a modest "4", but we were satisfied, even considering the move from one hotel to another. Doesn't matter. But we saw two hotels and had the opportunity to compare. In comparison, I liked Green Paradise even more. Therefore, I wish you, dear tourists, a good rest and vivid impressions.
