Review of the hotel EFTALIA RESORT 4*
The hotel is located 120 km from the airport, approximately 1 hour 50 minutes, and 20 minutes by bus from Alanya in the village of Konakli.
We were 5 adults and a child. The ticket cost $432 (10.800 rubles to be exact) per person for 9 days/8 nights, all inclusive. The tour was bought at the Atlanta-tour agency in Kirov. At the beginning of March 2008.
Travel time 16/05-24/05.2008. Company MOSTREVEL.
This is my 9th time in Turkey.
We had a flight from Vnukovo, the Atlant-Soyuz company, the flight was on schedule (with this, Atlant-Soyuz always clearly) at 16h. 35m, the flight time was 2-50 minutes. We arrived in Turkey in the evening, our one plane arrived. There was no queue, we quickly passed the face-control and forward to the expanses of Turkey....

When boarding the bus, it turned out that there were NO places in EFTALIA RESORT !! ! (we foresaw this) they began to quarrel with the transfer, she invited a Turkish girl, a higher rank than her, a representative of Mostrevel. She talked for a long time on the phone with the owner
(again, according to her) Eftalia resort…. . there are no places…… She offered us a GALLERY RESORT 4 * hotel (according to her, it was 5 *), as a result, we again had a discussion with her for half an hour, delayed the bus……. As a result, she promised us 100% that we would be settled ALL THESE in the Eftalia resort and we went with a calm soul after a long conversation to Eftalia……. . BUT we were brought to GALLERY RESORT 4*…. The shuttle left the bus without saying a word. The guide of the Gallery Resort came, started to force us to leave the bus and check into the gallery hotel……. . we categorically refused to go out!!!! ! In general, it came to a conversation with the main........ I swore with him on the phone....He is also some kind of guide to Mostrevel…. . he began to THREATEN me with the police that they would throw me out altogether…. From the hotel…. He will arrange a heavenly rest for me……. As a result, we didn’t get off the bus for an hour……. we gave up because the time was 23.00 and we had a 6 year old child with us……. We stayed in the gallery resort 4 * (I will write about it separately in the review of the gallery resort)
The next day we continued the war with the guides Mostrevel……. (of course, it’s creepy to start a vacation from such a moment as swearing) as a result, the Saretta hotel began to offer us
(next to Ephtalia), Majesti oasis beach (we agreed to it) but after half a call he changed his mind…… and said WE GO to EFTALIA……. Apparently he calculated the difference in the sale of the oasis......  greedy  )))
So now about the hotel Eftalia Resort 4 *
The hotel consists of two five-story buildings. They stand with the letter G
The contingent resting in the hotel GERMANS 80%, Poles, Russians, Ukrainians.
NUMBER: No. 4030 DBL

One double bed + one single bed + sofa bed. Cabinet with a mirror, with drawers. There is a TV (RTR, ORT), there is a hairdryer. Bedside tables, individual air conditioning. No carpet, tile. Wardrobe, safe ( paid, we did not take)
Bathroom: there is a small bathtub, a mirror, a toilet bowl like everywhere else; sets of towels as everywhere. Shampoo and soap were put only on the day of arrival, then the soap had to be extorted;
Balcony: 2 plastic chairs + table + swallow's nest (poop; birds chirping in the morning are also provided on the balcony) The balcony was not cleaned even once in all 9 days. There is a clothes dryer (this is very pleased)
HOTEL TERRITORY: for so many people it’s just small…. . IMHO
Swimming pools: there are 4 on the territory, and 1 in the Turkish bath (indoor).
Swimming pool with slides is shallow…… slides 3, turn on at the time from 10-12h and 15-17h. like so…. For small children there is a puddle-pool.
It is difficult to swim in the pools, because people are like herring in a barrel, + VERY much bleach, it smells as much as you pass by. There is a shower (2) near the pool.
Bars: 1 in the lobby, 1 by the pool, 1 on the beach, 1 in the restaurant, 1 at the entrance by the pool, 1 at the disco, 1 at the stage.
Restaurant: 1, we did not see others..... there is a closed room and an open one under a canopy.
There are sun loungers and umbrellas at the hotel by the pool, but it seemed to us that the GERMANS occupy them before 05.00 in the morning...... horror is just...... and then they are making noise around the pool all day.
The territory is not large, but compact, everything is at hand..... there is not so much greenery,..... tiles everywhere...... maybe there is, but there is not enough space on the territory for so many people.
There is a gym in the hotel, everything works.
Hammam bath, costs 25 bucks, they do it well. They give a hookah to smoke as a gift; There is an indoor pool.
There is a doctor Ruslan sitting there on the -1 floor, he takes 100 bucks for a call.
There is also a mini-club during the day where the kids hang out, draw, play, the animator is Turkish, speaks Russian. Such a cutie, insanely good.

There is also a disco on the -1 floor, a small room with a bar (all inclusive until 00-30 h. ) Then for a fee, beer 5 bucks, I don’t know the rest.
The music is so-so, Turkish pop is sometimes a foreigner for the Germans…. In general, we did not like it. There were 2 times, the 1st time they hung out on the day of arrival, the 2nd time they just went down to look.......smoky and drunken Germans dance alone...... even teenagers of 14-15 years old were with beer and naturally got drunk.......
FOOD:
Of course, the food is normal, and you can have something to eat all day, you definitely won’t stay hungry. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea (buns are brought by the pool), granny bakes cakes with filling (I ate and tastier, for those who are the 1st time in Turkey, it’s good),
on the beach lunch from 13.00, dinner, and you can still eat soup at 00.00 at night.
The range of dishes is the same as everywhere else, soup, salads, potatoes (there were 3 times), rice, pasta, spaghetti, sauces, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, all kinds of peppers, greens, sweets (cooks make good pies) and fruits (there were only chopped oranges, grapefruit, apples, which of course was very surprising, every year I go in May and even in 3 * hotels there are always watermelons and melons, and in 4 *, and in 5 * grapes, right there in Eftalia 1 time on a Turkish night they gave a watermelon, BUT you have not seen THIS line....
On the beach you can eat french fries, soup, chicken, shawarma, tomatoes, onions, bread, sauce, mayonnaise (available), buns (you can make a hamburger) from drinks: juices like Yuppie, coffee, cappuccino, chocolate (our cocoa), beer , fanta, cola, sprite, tea.
Food and drink can always be brought into the room EXCEPT DINNER.
On the Turkish night, they roasted a HUGE turkey on a spit and doe.
From drinks at the hotel:

Whiskey (very diluted, you can safely drink without cola), gin (drank gin-fanta), vodka, raki (aniseed) vodka, Efes beer, fanta, sprite, cola, Yuppy juices, coffee, tea (in bags, full of different flavors ), dry white and red wine (everything in the bar is better in the canteen, all alcohol is not very diluted). ALL included until 00.30 minutes, it's very convenient.
ANIMATION
In Russian NO, only in English and German.
The animators are dead walking, they don't want anything, the club dance is like everywhere else 2 times a day in the afternoon and in the evening, the competitions are the same every day. Irina (Russian) always walks around stoned, looks terrible, barely speaks, the feeling that she accepts, it’s impossible to think that she is tired……. Because in this hotel no one harnesses.
(Again, I compare with my other 9 times in Turkey in different hotels).
There is a mini club……. I don’t know, of course, how they deal with children there, they took our small one there 1 time, didn’t go anymore. , but the animator herself is a super-girl, young. talked to her here. Gets told 400 bucks for her work.
There was a Turkish night at the hotel, very modestly for a 4 * course, we decided to save the feeling, the children were invited to dance for half an hour. Generally not impressed.
BEACH:
The beach is a 5-minute leisurely walk past the Carriage 4 * hotel (left) and the Arancia 5 * hotel (right), not annoying, along the alley. Chaise lounges, mattresses, an awning like umbrellas are stretched, everything is there. The beach guy cleans up in the morning, not during the day, he has a cool little puppy, he steals slippers and drags him to him (as he says to the office)))))
SEA:

IMHO - disgusting, our south reminds. Out of 9 days, it was stormy for 3 days (we practically didn’t swim, we even put a warning that you can’t swim), washed up all sorts of dirt. Of the 9 days there was a decent sea without bags, shorts, garbage, swam with a mask, the fish live near the coast because there are algae and stones, they eat there, so take a mask (of course not Egypt, but still; the entry into the sea is fig, from the side of the hotel's Audinbay beach, everyone swims, the bottom is better there, but if a little further there are boulders that you can cut your stomach, I only saw it with a mask, I think where people cut themselves, apparently there. stand on your feet, closer to the buoys, the bottom of the sand is deep, but cleaner. There are all services on the beach, banana, parachute 35 bucks ($ 40 - for two) scooters, there is a tattoo (at least 10 bucks, for 5 just a little one), music Russian plays from them, which pleases all the same.
They sell boiled corn on the beach for 2 bucks, they also sell ice cream.
There are shops in the hotel: the prices are the same as in konakli. Jewelry, souvenirs, food (small things), phone cards (4 bucks for 50 units, call the house. Number 007 area code and phone number, there you can chat for 50 units for 30-40 minutes, I called a cell phone for 4 ate a card for a minute), there is an Internet cafe, there is a photographer (photo 5 bucks, he can’t take pictures, on the advertisement he doesn’t have his photo, but from that year, another photographer)
There are slot machines and billiards in the hotel (like free), there is a court where they play football in the evenings.
There are video cameras in the lobby and shops.
KONAKLY:
You leave the hotel and the Antalya-Alania highway. In 15-20 minutes from Alanya (that is, where you came from) the market, everyone is guided by the tower, there are enough shops to make purchases.
There is a fountain near the tower, the trees that change color are very beautiful.
Guided tours in street agencies have raised. Yacht 25 bucks (2007-13 $), rafting 25 bucks (in 2007 it cost $ 13), we didn’t go anywhere (were already almost everywhere)
Hotels near Eftalia: Carriage, Audinbey, Aransia, Saphir a little further....
In 10 minutes of the hotel there is a disco Samer Garden (we did not go), acquaintances went, they were almost beaten by the Turks. The Russians said go, but the Poles said....we will, they barely waved.
Even when we arrived, fear was walking around the hotel, a young married couple left for the maare garden and did not return. The whole hotel was put on the ears, the police came, everything was intact in the room,....The police said they didn’t take a car, they didn’t go on excursions (they broke through) so that they themselves are to blame.......No one else was looking for them……. And at the end of our holiday they showed up. Lived with a relative! The hotel was shocked.
ALANYA:

We went ourselves, at the hotel the review costs 15 bucks. We left Eftalia, a little to the left, go up to the road there is a stop and the bus Alania……. Travel at the exit to pay 2 bucks. You will understand where to get off, there is a type of mini-bus station, a cluster of buses and that's it! stomp down…. . down……. There you will see a tower, a fortress, an embankment, and here you can have a great walk, eat, and relax. Taxi drivers take you to the fortress for 10 bucks (5 km to go, the panorama of Alanya is very beautiful), you can climb the tower not far (observation deck), return back to the bus, too, to the top along any street, climb past the shops, we were guided by the mosque, and in any store they will tell you (fortunately they speak Russian). Call the driver the hotel - you will be dropped off.
We really liked it, it reminded me of the Marmaris embankment and the street of bars.
There are shops around the hotel near the carriage, you can buy everything without going to the center, prices are practically the same, there is a post office, there is a telephone on the left side of Eftalia at the travel agency.
A large sweet strawberry costs 2.5 bucks. They weigh both $ 1 and 2 bucks.
The weather for joy was good +35, it was also warm in the evenings, the sea was cool in the first days, later it became warmer every day.
The return flight was at 19.00 (at least the day was not stolen, like many of my friends at the same time) We flew with the Globus airline, the plane was small, the food was served COLD!!! ! , but a huge plus flew in 2h30 minutes. : )
CONCLUSION: we had a good rest, not a foot in the direction of Alanya, only Kemer or Marm. I won’t go with the Mostrevel company either, the slips due to the hotel were for the first time and were very upset (we spent a lot of nerves) and the fact that they put the flight THERE in just a day..... but how can people not get from Moscow? After all, you need to get there, still manage to buy tickets……. In general, such an overlay was for the first time and I won’t take any more bookings with Mostrevel, because in early May, prices from other operators fell even lower than with early bookings…. . so next. just like before 2 years, ONLY last-minute tours.
There is no nature in Alanya (Konakli)!! ! and still far from the airport.
Hotel for Germans, nothing to do there.
So, before you go to the hotel, think……. . I would rather be in Beldibi or Kemer in 3 * than in Konakli.
Maybe the review turned out to be not very positive, I’m not picky and capricious..... neither to food nor to cleaning. ……. Judged from experience. Still, 9 times in Turkey, not a few, but not a lot........ we can tear in the fall : ) in Marm.....
Feedback for those who travel to be ready for the Germans farting : )……. Although rest, not work.

Everything is fine, everything is learned with experience, we wanted to go to Eftalia, we got it : )))
