I stayed in this institution from August 3 to August 10.2010, single room (double for one), half board, a ticket with a flight from Odessa 445 bucks.
Judging by the photos and descriptions on the websites of travel agencies, a magnificent hotel almost 4 * with full chic and comfort. So, personal impressions:
1. The "Pamirs" are 85% inhabited by Turks, who have business in Antalya and have something to do, entertain and saturate. There are very few foreigners there. There are even fewer Russians - 2-3 families in one race.
2. The hotel is located in the residential area of Lara, to the center and the civilized beach area, about the same as from the village of Tairovo in Odessa, km 15. Nevertheless, it is packed with residents to the eyeballs.
3. It is really 3 blocks from the sea - 300 meters, but the coast is the steepest rocky cliff, very picturesque, with a beautiful park area, large and small waterfalls, however, "debuffed". A couple of kilometers away there is a steep staircase 70 meters high, along which you can go down to an impromptu beach on huge boulders with ladders screwed to them, like in a pool, but only those who can swim can climb into the water - there is no bottom. If your health allows you to easily climb to the height of a 22-story building after intensive swimming and exhausting sun. . . After such exercises, I almost fainted and came to my senses for about an hour in the shade.
4. To the nearest city beach with very small pebbles instead of sand, heating up and not allowing you to walk on them barefoot, 6 km from the hotel. At the reception, you can really order a free bus with a cheerful driver guy and a chronically leaking radiator, but every hour it doesn’t run back and forth, it will take you to the beach at 10 am, back at 17 pm. Whoever wants to dump earlier - please, on your own. Beach benefits are paid - 3 lira topchanozonte.
5. Rooms in the Pamirs correspond to the photos and are very nice and cozy. Volumetric balconies with beautiful views of neighboring hotels, but without any chairs. In the sticky Turkish heat, you still can’t sit on this balcony for more than 5 minutes. It would not hurt to hang ropes there for drying wet things, since they have to be thrown on the balcony railing.
6. Troubles in the room can be caused by clogged drains in the bathroom and non-working pre-revolutionary Mitsubishi air conditioners with oak square consoles, which have clearly exhausted their cooling capacity. If you are lucky and they cool at least a little, and not just drive the air like a fan, for example, in the steamed triple room 123 on the 3rd floor, you are guaranteed relative thermal comfort.
7. In the room itself, there are absolutely no frills such as carafes of water, glasses, spoons, vases and other pleasant things. The only chair can be taken out to the balcony. The furniture is new and modern. A small flat-screen TV with about 15 local and satellite channels is nailed over the table; of course, there is no smell of Russian there. In the drawer of the table is a tiny uninterruptedly working refrigerator, called a mini-bar. Rooms are cleaned consistently and efficiently, about 2 times a week.
8. The staff in Russian does not speak a word, broken English helps out. In the order of things, production inconsistencies, simply an organizational mess. For example, your room is still occupied, and you will be asked to spend the night until tomorrow in a nearby hotel. Or they will give you another room for a while, with the recently departed owners of which you can easily be confused without being transferred by shift, and after a walk you will be surprised to find your bags dumped at the reception from the room in a heap with a demand to immediately hand over the key and leave the hospitable hotel. Naturally, the misunderstanding is soon resolved, but no apologies for the inconvenience are brought to you.
9. The territory of the hotel is limited by the area of two buildings with a small 15-meter pool between them with a depth of 1.60. The pool with several sun loungers is clean and pretty, but for some reason it is not in great demand among the Turks. I don't know what "garden" means, apparently a beautiful hedge along the perimeter. As for the advertised children's pool, disco, reading room, games room, conference room - I did not observe any of this. Well, except that a large TV in the central hall in front of the reception can be called a TV room with a stretch. Dining room - the restaurant has internal and external halls. The inside is cooler due to air conditioning. Pretty solid bar behind glass doors opposite the pool.
10. Pleased with the presence of WiFi Internet. Several routers are hung in the hotel, there is 1 password network on the first floor of HotelPamira, the password to which can be obtained from the duty officer, and two passwordless networks of HotelPamira 2.3 on the upper floors. In rooms far from routers, the signal level is not guaranteed, so you need to take a chair, laptop or smart phone and sit down to work under the access point on the 3rd floor. Or comfortably in a chair at the reception router downstairs.
11. Half board. Breakfasts in all hotels of this class, apparently, are the same. The "buffet" includes indispensable planed vegetables and sour salads, boiled rubber eggs (at least once thought of making scrambled eggs), soy sausage, feta cheese, cheap cheese, squares-packages with butter, honey and marmalade, good soft fresh bread, delicious tea. Coffee doesn't exist. There are two cooler cubes with orange and cherry juices (I suspect powdered ones). They can cut slices of watermelon, sketch plums and grapes. In principle, to fill the stomach in the morning is enough. Breakfast from 7 to 10 am. There are interruptions in food delivery. On the day before departure, I went out at 9 o'clock in general to an empty table, even tea was over, not to mention cheese and sausage. I had to be content with a sandwich with butter and jam. No one can look at vegetables in the end. By the way, Turkish dishes are spicy, so ulcers should take protective equipment for the stomach with them.
12. Cultural program. Russian-speaking guides of the Odeon Tour Concern are taking care of you. The next day after arrival, a well-fed guide Vitalik appeared, who oversees the hotel and advertises additional tours to different cities - 200 bucks here, 300 there... He put his mobile phone number (where and how should he call his mobile phone from the hotel? ), And more at the hotel did not appear, although I had some questions later. On the third day, the concern held a free tour of the shopping pavilions with expensive jewelry, leather and textile products, galloped a bus around the city (it would be better to look at sights instead of shopping pavilions), stopped at an exhibition of sand figures and had a free lunch with a paid drink, all the same 2 bucks for a can of drink at a waterfront restaurant. After that, unless additional excursions are ordered, you are on your own - walk around the neighborhood, sunbathe, go to the beach, swim in the pool.
Conclusion. If you have a well-established program of stay in Antalya, you are not a gourmet and not a fan of constantly running to the beach, the Pamira Boutique Hotel fully justifies your small funds invested in living in this "oasis of comfort".
