We were at the Club Asteria Belek HV-1 from July 12 to July 22.2017.
The hotel bills itself as a 5 star hotel, but I have a strong opinion from my 10 day stay that it is barely a 4 star.
We were settled in building 47, I did not understand why ordinary houses are called villas. Even funny. The room is small, the bathroom is rather dilapidated, the tiles on the floor are worn to dullness. A real economy option squared. She walked over to the tiny balcony and gasped. A view of the roof of the restaurant's kitchen, smelly smoke coming out of the chimney, some equipment humming, the balcony rests against the wall. You can only take 1 step on it to hang laundry sideways to dry. Animation. _ All day and midnight. Constantly shouting animators into the mouthpiece, music, exercise, games. They work non-stop, hard. Not a moment without silence. In the evening and until 24 at the restaurant music to the fullest boom-boom, the melody has never been identified, because it is not there. Restaurant. _I would call the restaurant a huge canteen. Food in bulk, but the quality is not at all. There are annoying flies all around, both outside at the tables under the awnings, and inside. The whole territory is strewn with cicadas that chirp for 24 hours non-stop, it's not annoying, but sometimes they fly off the trees and hit passers-by or walls, which is unpleasant. Single specimens of flies crawl on salads, my husband had a fly in his juice, then in beer, frankly, it’s disgusting to talk about it. Worse food I have not seen in all my travels to different countries. The hotel is not recommended!
