Visited the hotel in September - October 2012. I was going to write a review for a long time, waiting for all the negativity to subside. In general, the hotel is not bad and the area is good. But here's the price. . . I paid 6.000 euros for 16 days via Tez tour for the simplest room. Without a discount, this is about 400 euros per day, the same price was at the reception in the hotel itself. This is almost the most expensive hotel on the Antalya coast. I chose it because I visited many new 5 star hotels and expected something mega - super from Rixos, this is the best hotel in Turkey, as they like to constantly remind the hotel... The disappointment was severe.
1. Number. Room overlooking the water park, you can even see the sea. The room is old. The moving in began with the repair of the door to the toilet. The door parted (there is a sliding door) and it jammed. After 20 minutes, a worker came, removed the door, straightened everything, hung it back. It can be seen that the procedure is not the first time....The water in the toilet was flowing. It turned out at night, he didn’t call, he repaired it himself (fortunately, hands grow from the right place). In general, the room is not so much old as well-worn. The carpet is not dirty, but covered in old stains. On the wall is a "plasma" TV set from a Turkish manufacturer, produced 5 years ago. The screen is scratched. Hanging at an angle from the bed, not comfortable to look at. The wallpaper, especially in the bathroom, is worn, patched in places. Everything is loose, sitting on the toilet with your knee resting exactly on a suspended roll of paper. Let me remind you of all the pleasure for 400 euros per day... The corridor of the floor is about the same spectacle. Everything is worn out, the corners are upholstered (they carry trolleys for room service). The room was completely out of the way. WiFi was not accepted. At my request, they brought an access point to the room, which is "+". But! High-speed WiFi in the hotel is paid, something about 10 euros. Free - slow.
2. Territory. The territory is large and green, it can be called overgrown, but this is rather a plus. There is no other hotel with such territory on the coast. One of the few 5 hotels. They have a feature - a channel through the territory from the beach to the water park. A boat floats on it. It's funny, but not appreciated, the boat has to wait 15-20 minutes. Walking faster. But since the channel runs through the entire territory, there are many bridges that need to be crossed.

3. Water park. The water park is old and worn out. One important nuance must be kept in mind. This water park is adjacent to the hotel, but not only for its visitors. Everyone is welcome to the water park! It's free for hotel guests. There are a lot of people, and the audience is not one of those who laid out 400 euros per day... The Aqua Park is dirty, it smells like urine in places. The hotel's ultra inclusive system does not apply to the water park. Beer is free, the rest is for money. Our guide advised us to go in the evening when guests from other hotels are leaving... There are really few people, but! Almost immediately, all the slides are turned off, and this happens around 16.30. The water park saddened me, because before that I had a rest in the Gural Network - Ali Bay. These hotels were one chain, but 4 years ago they split up. All hotels had very large water parks, and only for guests. And I used to spend time in them after dinner. The water park has a dolphinarium. Entrance is paid, something like 35 dollars. The performance is not bad 3 or 4 exits - dolphins, walrus and other marine life. You can take pictures with dolphins for a fee. Once again I want to note that you can come to the water park from any hotel. For the sake of the water park itself, it’s definitely not worth going to Rixos.
4. Beach. The beach is large, about 800 meters long, this is another "+". But, it is divided into 2 zones. The first is for everyone, the second is gazebos with sunbeds. Pavilions are paid 100-150 euros depending on the season. Free for suite guests. The beach is sad, there are no umbrellas. Long awnings are stretched in several rows and sunbeds are at arm's length. For the first time I encountered this... In all hotels where 5 * there were umbrellas. Awnings are not convenient, the beach seems to be big, but everything is heaped up. In half a meter there is a neighboring sunbed and here you are lucky: you can take part in the upbringing of the neighbor's children or learn German and English. In general, in all the neighboring hotels there were the same tents, but the hotels were of a lower class... There was one bar near the beach, a lot of people, angry people, everything is poured into paper cups. Another "-". In all previous Gurals, Ali Bey was poured into glassware, and empty glasses were removed by waiters. And here, paper cups were lying all over the place all day. . . Despite the ultra all inclusive, i. e. the presence of imported drinks is assumed, near the beach there were mostly locals. They answered the request of imported ones - they ran out. Imported were in the main building of the hotel. In general, the beach saddened, the next day it moved to the VIP part of the beach, + 100 euros per day of stay. Everything is super there, fruit with champagne is a compliment in the morning, the waiter brings drinks from the bar.
5. Water sports. Here I would like to dwell on this in more detail. There is sports, but here's the price... Scooter - 100 euros 15 minutes. There is such a rapped Turk sitting there in a booth with the signature "Sport". Legs thrown up, bamboo smokes. Type do not like the price is your business. We can bargain, we'll give you 20 minutes. In general, the price is not in itself. This is not the first time, there are also neighboring hotels. Out of habit, I went there, everything is normal there. Standard 30-40 euros, and even with a package you can get a discount. But it wasn't there. . . At the mention that I was from Rixos, the conversation ended there. "Goodbye" you have your own sport there. And so in all neighboring hotels! First time I've encountered this! Well, after 100 euros for a sunbed, the price in general is not cosmic, but already TIRED. I went to the reception, demanded to show the approved price list for sports. There is no price list, this is a separate office. And what is sent from other hotels, so everyone needs to earn. In general, I got to the hotel, which I had not reached before, the third from Rixos. He introduced himself from another hotel (not Rixos). I received a standard price - 30 euros for a scooter, and even a discount package. Basically, I went there.
6. Nutrition. On the territory of 5 or 6 a la carte restaurants, in addition to the main ones. In general, it brightened up the negative opinion about the hotel as a whole. Moreover, you could go to La Carte for lunch. I liked the restaurant on the lake, near the beach. But in general, if we talk about the main restaurants, there are a lot of people, it’s bad with places, it rained one day, all the tables were removed from the street. People just didn't fit. The tables were in the aisle, between the tables with food, in the aisle between the doors. . . Moreover, no one thought to extend the restaurant's work. . . The food is good, but monotonous and simple. After Gural - Ali Bey, a cut below. Fruits are simple, a standard set - apples, pears, grapes, oranges. There were no watermelons! I'm not talking about pineapples and other exotics. Ice cream was given in one of the cafes in the main building during the day. A la McDonald's restaurant. Ice cream - rubber-like balls in cups, not tasty. Gural-Ali Bey recalled with nostalgia. There, ice cream was in the refrigerators of the manufacturer Algida - 1.15 types, and for free! Here for this in the shop they asked for 3-4 euros...

7. Spa. Spa 5+, no comments, one of the best I've seen. Complete set - sauna, aroma, bath, cold water pool, snow room, contrast shower. You can paint for a long time, everything is on their website. Probably almost the only thing for which you can go to the hotel. There is an indoor pool, if you go in winter. I understand it is heated.
8. Animation. Evening animation is all imported. They don't have a strong team of their own. You can count it as +. But in 2 weeks I looked at everything 2 times, tk. the program is repeated. Constantly before the start of the performances, the show "Legend of the Rixos" was advertised. There was no show. The question is, where is it? There was an answer - only in the summer... In the center between the buildings in the evenings, singing fountains. Not a bad sight. Around the a la carte restaurants, you can conveniently combine viewing with dinner on the street. Saddened by the constant reminder of the "Best Hotel in Turkey". Something else needs to be done to the slogans...
10. About the advantages of the hotel. About the territory, a large beach, spa, I have already said. I was pleased with the so-called French street, where fog is made in the evenings (water is sprayed with fine drops). Luxurious lobby and bars in hotels. True, the roof was leaking in the rain... and there were buckets in the halls)))
Conclusion - the hotel is not recommended. Sitting on the beach, I climbed with an IPAd through low-speed free internet on travel agency websites, for 7 tons of euros (6 + additional expenses) you could take any 5 * island vacation, not to mention the hotels of Turkey itself, of which there are many new ones with a service head and shoulders above Rixos . Which is what I advise you.
