Absolutely equivalent cheap alternative to the island of Kos, as long as the borders are closed.
He was vacationing in Turkey for the first time, before that he was only in Greece - on the islands of Corfu, Rhodes and Kos. I chose the location because of the beautiful sea and the view of the bay, and because I was once a traveler in Bodrum, when I went to the island of Kos (it is, incidentally, visible on the horizon from the hotel).
The sea exceeded expectations, although 90% of the beach is a pier and a descent to a depth of 3 meters (for adults only), and 10% of the sandy beach is packed with vacationers with children. The view is magnificent. The family room is absolutely positive, although in the 1st room with 2 Wi-Fi did not catch.
Food is distributed by waiters (due to anti-kovid measures) and during rush hours there are queues of 5-10 people, although if you come at the beginning or end of lunch / evening, it is still / already relatively free.

The only downside - for people with poor physical fitness - the difference in height to the sea 20 meters. There are elevators and ramps, but it can be difficult for some.
A huge plus - to Bodrum 4-5 km (taxi 40 lira = E6 = 160 UAH, or minibus). It is worth visiting at least once (in the evening, when not so hot) to walk the streets, climb the fortress, have a snack in restaurants, try local doner and octopus, buy souvenirs and sweets, and just immerse yourself in the atmosphere.
Contingent - 60% from Ukraine, the rest - Eastern Europe (Slovakia? ) And Turks. Vacationers are quite decent, outright boors were not observed.
Verdict: while Greece is closed I will come again.
