Who does the author recommend the hotel to?: For a relaxing holiday; For families with children
Good afternoon! Before the beginning of the story, I will make a reservation - I got to this hotel during my first trip abroad. and although this holiday was a level higher than the Crimean-Ukrainian, I'm still sure that the owners of the hotel should work on a lot and think about it. The price of the tour also helped not to find fault with the level of the hotel - $ 520 for two (including flights, transfers, insurance and even a sightseeing tour to Bodrum))). Now, in order.
Territory and entertainment
The hotel area is quite cozy and green, but quite small, so I advise those who like to relax "without leaving the hotel" to find something else. Of all the paid and free entertainment listed in the description, we found only an excellent water slide. But most of the British and Turks, who make up the main contingent of holidaymakers here, still spend their holidays "drifting" during the day between the pool and the bar. By the pool - comfortable beds with mattresses, umbrellas, towels. For children there is a modest playground and many different inflatable and water toys. Sometimes the hotel hosts "Turkish nights".

Nutrition
On the first day of the buffet was not "due to the small number of tourists. " There were, indeed, 15 people, but why should we suffer if we paid for the buffet, and not for a half-hour (!!! ) waiting for a heavily peppered Turkish dish with soy meat ? ! The next morning, the food situation improved, the chefs still prepared a pretty decent selection of dishes. we can say that we were almost lucky in comparison with those who stopped by earlier). Conclusion: think thrice before going here in the first half of May. In the future, we had no complaints about food. Only breakfasts were striking with monotony and modesty - 2 types of cereal with milk, cheese, feta cheese, sausage, bread and butter, vegetables, jam... apparently, their cooks are clearly not larks))))))). Lunch and dinner are decent. From meat - chicken and soy. They also serve delicious fried fish. Lots of vegetable snacks, rice, spices. From fruit - only apples and oranges.
Rooms
The rooms are quite cramped and modest, but IMHO with everything you need (TV, safe, air conditioning). Cleaning daily. There are really few rooms with a balcony for 2 people (Standard room), we didn’t get it (((. Channels on TV are exclusively Turkish. There is no telephone in the rooms. The bathroom is excellent.
staff
Staff 50:50. . . the service in the restaurant is normal. But at the reception there are unpleasant individuals who strive to warm their hands on the exchange rate. (I had to change their dollars for lira with a serious shortfall in their favor, because there was no other choice, the lira was urgently needed). We also heard about cases of theft of personal items (clothes) from the rooms. There are no Russian speaking staff at all.
Beach. . . another story)

Seeing the "hotel beach", they did not believe their eyes - instead of the sand promised in the description - large pebbles, entry into the water is very inconvenient. But this is half the trouble. Slippers made of plastic covered with dust (15 pieces in total!!!! ), old straw umbrellas, a complete lack of service and staff, rubbish lying around, a rusty fence behind which the ruins of an old monastery under restoration are hidden... And all this against the backdrop of a beautiful mountain landscape, which is not in sight on the more well-groomed beaches of other hotels! From this place it would be possible to make a "candy" with a minimum of effort and money, but the administration did not even respond to requests to simply remove the garbage. For all the time, the hotel employee appeared there only 1 time, moved the tapchans and left... Until the last day, they wondered why everything was SO... but the answer came in the guise of... three policemen! ))) On the last day of our vacation, they showed up on the beach with questions about who allowed us to put tapchans here. When we said that this is the beach of our hotel, they explained that this territory is a conservation area of the same monastery under restoration, and those who fenced it off and use it as a beach face a serious fine... all umbrellas and tapchans disappeared in the same day. but it is unlikely that it will be possible to prove that the beach belongs to the Aqua Torba Club)))) it turns out that the hotel staff did not need to "shine" on "their own beach" and invest in it, so as not to be responsible later for the illegal use of the territory) . So the owners of the hotel have something to think about now)))) Bottom line: if you still decide to choose this hotel, be sure to ask the tour operator for information about the beach and its real photos (maybe they will come up with something new there in a short time) and be careful) . Good luck!
in conclusion, a few words about Torba itself. The village is very picturesque, green and, according to the people of Bodrum themselves, this, along with Yalikavak, is one of the best points for recreation in the vicinity of the city. There are great places for snorkelling. The water of Torba Bay is very clean, unlike the beaches of Bodrum itself. I recommend to everyone a trip on a yacht through the bays and islets of the Aegean Sea, which (like other excursions) is the cheapest to book at the tour desk next to the Hotel Voyage.
All houses in the village are not higher than 3 floors, made in the "Greek" style, typical for Bodrum and the surrounding area. On a very quiet embankment there are many cafes with quite reasonable prices. There are practically no discos, clubs and other entertainment in the evenings, but this shortcoming is redeemed by the fact that in 15 minutes on dolmushes that run here until 3 am, you can get to Bodrum. I will post pictures of "Aqua Torba" and the surrounding area in the near future)
