Traveled with my wife in July 2012.10 days. I liked the rest, at least there were no disappointments, we were ready for everything, a bale. Read reviews from tourists.
I'll start with the positives. Firstly, the stunning beauty (all around the mountains) and a rather pleasant climate. Strong heat happens only from 12 to 16 o'clock, at this time it is better to relax in the room. In the morning (at 6 o'clock) every day we went swimming in the sea - the water is pleasantly cool, and by the evening it is already heating up. A very convenient municipal beach 1.5 km long, along the beach there are a lot of cafes, shops and exchangers. Each cafe has its own equipped beach with umbrellas, sun loungers, sofas, tents, etc. You need to buy at least a bottle of water from them, and you can use the sunbeds all day, although we sometimes didn’t take anything, but they didn’t touch us. In general, Bodrum is not like Turkey in general, rather like Europe. Merchants do not stick, but they do not bargain either, the locals are mostly Europeans (English, Germans, Italians), so everyone is friendly.
We lived in a bungalow at the hotel, it's certainly not an apartment, but it's okay to spend the night, all rooms with sea views, with large balconies on the 1st floor (do not take the 2nd floor).

Food for four is very decent and varied. Meat, chicken, fish every day for lunch and dinner. There are a lot of fruits, for those with a sweet tooth it’s a paradise in general (we are not them) - huge cakes, national sweets, etc.
There are 3 pools on the territory, they swam in each, but did not sunbathe - everything was occupied by the British since the evening.
Very nice view from the restaurant. Especially the sunset (at 9pm).
Service is impeccable, staff is friendly.
Every evening animation for 30-40 minutes, but with professional artists who changed every day. After each show, a disco for 20-30 minutes, then everyone is invited to a paid disco in the city.
Now the cons. Very far to the beach. There from the mountain 10 minutes, back (we took 2 and a half drops of water to cool) 30 minutes - hard, but on the third day we got used to it. If you are ready to give up lunch, you can ride the bus (only in the morning at 10 and in the evening before dinner back). We walked, it is very beautiful around, and it is good for health.
No one speaks Russian in the hotel, so learn English.
There is no territory in the hotel at all, only multi-level bungalows, a restaurant and the main building.
If you want to relax and drink alcohol - take it with you. Here everything is diluted 5-6 times. Efes beer is delicious, but non-alcoholic - I myself saw the inscription on kegs 0%, by the way, unlike in Russia, non-alcoholic beer in Turkey is 1.5-2 times cheaper, and therefore they save. From strong only Raki, but it is impossible to drink it. In shops, good beer for 1.5 -2 dollars.
Poor soundproofing in the rooms, if you want something (sex, toilet, TV), all your neighbors will know about it.
Perhaps there are no more minuses to be found, although what is good for a Russian is....
I really enjoyed the trip to the Mediterranean. Only 60 dollars for two in the Directorate in the city itself next to the bus station. Amazing photo spots.
In general, in terms of price-quality ratio, we were satisfied (38.000 rubles for two 10 days all inclusive)
