I will tell you about the hotel mixed up - without highlighting the pros and cons separately.
This was our third time in Bodrum. Before Paloma, we were in Baia Bodrum and now the Hilton Bodrum Resort & Spa (the hotel was bought out not so long ago). In addition, we rested in Kemer about 7-8 times. There is something to compare.
Perhaps what we did not like in Paloma was initially to blame for the Globus travel agency (Kyiv), because we were inclined to the hotel in terms of the level of the step 2-3 higher than Paloma.
In general, if you remove all the minuses, the hotel is not bad - big, no problems with sunbeds (until 9:30 - 10:00 you can take a seat freely), good a la carte restaurants - delicious and great staff.
For us, a huge minus was in relation to Russian tourists.

Firstly, problems with the settlement, our entire check-in at 14:00 was not yet ready to be settled until they started to make a fuss. Tourists from Europe were settled almost immediately upon arrival, even before 14:00!

At the reception, they can run away from you, they will not give clear answers (in theory, they will say "in 10 minutes" - and so 3 times - then we just started swearing)
In addition, only the girl who communicates with guests speaks Russian there, but she must be called. They do not admit that there are Russian speakers.
Secondly, if you choose this hotel, then choose a room only in the Main Building! The website contains photos from these numbers. They are newer and in good condition. In the bungalows, the rooms are poorly cleaned, with numerous breakdowns.
In addition, if you settle in a bungalow, forget about heels - you just have to go down a stone path and down a slope.
Thirdly, the main restaurant has excellent administrators, but only a few of the waiters will serve you normally. The rest either do not notice you, or will approach you after they have served the Europeans. Well, either you come up and stand in front of him and let him down, cursing, to your table.
In addition, we waited for 5-10 minutes for the appliances, bringing the appliances, they did not pay attention that there were no glasses for water and the water itself and left, we had to call again for 10 minutes and wait again for glasses and water. But sometimes they simply forgot about you - after all, the Europeans could call.
If you like sweets for lunch and dinner, it’s better to come to the beginning and take it right away, otherwise it will be sorted out and you won’t get it. In addition, you will sit down at a normally stocked table and you won’t have to ask for a fork for 15 minutes))))
Unlike tourists from Europe, they never reserved a table for us like they did - cutlery, napkins, 2 glasses each, they didn’t offer wine, and they didn’t put a bottle of water on the table - they just poured a glass. Only a couple of waiters asked what we would like to drink.
On the lobby bar the same picture. You can stand from 5 to 15 minutes in the evening.
Animation in French (90% of tourists from France and Belgium) - translate only into Turkish and English.

But the animation team itself is good - very funny, pleasant, sociable guys. They knew English - there were no problems.
Regarding holidays with children - the children will be with you, unless they are fluent in French or do not know English well enough to go to the mini club. So you can't take a break from them. In addition, the hotel has a lot of wasps on the beach. We were bitten by 5 people.
So judge for yourself whether the hotel is good or bad.
But from the Paloma chain, this is one of the weaker hotels. I would give a good 4 * but not 5, unfortunately ...
We will not be returning to this hotel.
