We travel a lot, but rarely leave reviews. There is something to compare and we know what we are waiting for. There are no "inflated" expectations, but sometimes you still want justice.
I note right away - we are traveling with a large family - we have three rooms in the hotel + one for godfathers. Mid-range hotel, ie. and inexpensive and not cheap. For three rooms (4 adults + 3 small children 3-5 years old) they gave about 4 thousand USD. during the week.
I rate the hotel on several parameters.
1) The location is good.
Pros - Beautiful views, well-groomed territory.
Cons - the terrain is uneven. Going down is easy. And climbing up to the room up 200-300 meters is not always a thrill. For people with certain health problems - not here.
2) The sea - everything is in order here. There are enough umbrellas and sunbeds. The beach is long. The entrance is normal for these places - small pebbles, sometimes large ones come across, at a depth "to the waist" - sand. The bay is closed - there are no waves and in the afternoon no garbage is washed ashore. The water temperature today did not correspond to the declared one (24) - we intended 21. But in fact it is good - it invigorates.
3) Dining room - I put somewhere 5. There are a lot of people in the hotel - a lot. There are always queues at the cafeteria. The food is served by the staff. But sometimes they just can’t cope and then the vacationers themselves climb in and serve their own food. It's hard to find a free table. As a rule, you will find a dirty table and if you are lucky, it will be quickly removed. I have never seen such dirty dishes! This is my 6th trip only to Turkey. Sometimes the problem is to find, say, a spoon. . .
There are pluses - for a hotel of this price category they cook well (although here, of course, individually, but I think many vacationers will agree with me here).
4) Drinking - standard I can’t say anything bad, as well as good. I can only say that our request to cook a mojito was refused on the beach, and some green "burda" was prepared in the lobby. And you have not tried a gin and tonic with cucumber instead of lime, then you are here : ))))).
5) Numbers. I will stop here separately. The hotel has a main building and several rows of two-story houses on the mountain. I won't say anything about the rooms in the main building - I haven't seen it. All our rooms are in cabins. They stand in rows on the mountain. We have the second row of houses 12XX. Specifically - 1249. And that's tough guys. Arrive - ask only not the second row. The fact is that for the first time we encountered a situation where vacationers, I think, mostly Turks, freely drive around the hotel in cars. Practically, you will live on the highway - where the cars will buzz day and night. THERE IS NO THIS IN THE REVIEWS. They just got us for the first night. Even considering the mountainous landscape and a sharp turn behind our house - the roar was still the same. Also, some "bad person" managed to get stuck under our house at night - he revved so that all the exhaust went straight into the house.
I'm already silent about the fact that when you go up the path, you will have to bounce to the side every time and pull the children away so that the next "king of life" can easily fly by.
6) And last but not least, the staff.
They take it away. But they may not clean up. Upon arrival, our godfathers were given a completely uncleaned room, and only after complaints about the reception - a little primarafetili.
In the dining room, the staff can not cope for a simple reason - it is not enough.
Well, separately at the reception - they asked to change the room, because. in our rest is uncomfortable - the answer is "there are no available rooms. " Then they told me to come in after dinner. After lunch they said that the numbers were handed out, come back in 2-3 days.
After the question - "we have 10 people resting with you - you need 10 negative reviews" - the number was found - at the very top. Naturally, we with two small children refused. At the same time, we see that some of the numbers are empty - but we are still told that there are no numbers. By the way, I do not advise you to leave a "tip" for the room - anyway, you will be sold what is, and not what you want.
So, let's sum up. The hotel itself is good. But given the current situation, it is not worth going to it.
Pros - good location, pleasant sea, good food.
Cons - a lot of people, the staff can not cope with such a flow; cars moving right between residential buildings, and the traffic is quite active; the staff is not ready to help you, it seems to me that the main thing for them is that you get behind them as quickly as possible. Maybe I'm wrong - and after my recall, the administration will contact me and hear me... but I doubt it very much...
Cons - cleaning, often there is none, or they can wash the floor with a dirty rag, did not replenish the mini bar for 10 days of rest not once, did not put shampoo, shower ghoul, we complained every day at the reception, as there was nothing to wash - after which you can was to receive bathroom accessories in 3-4 hours.
4 times contacted the reception and asked to clean the room. They said they would leave soon. Several hours passed, we come to the room, there is still the same dirt. And so all 4 times.
For the first time we meet with such a low level of 5 *.
There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms, only at the reception… it is very inconvenient.
Soap dispenser not working. After daily cleaning, they only change towels and make the bed. Water, tea, coffee, etc. do not replenish.
And one more thing… if you need an iron, take it with you. The hotel does not give it either, only for money they can iron your clothes.
The view from the window is excellent. The food is varied.
Placed in the main building, all rooms are freshly renovated, quite large, with a tea set, and the mini-bar is replenished every day with drinks in cans, cola, fanta, water. There are also slippers and a complete set of cosmetics in the bathroom.
The food is varied and very high quality! ! There is always a choice of both meat and fish. Seabass Dorado and mackerel are often grilled. The a la carte restaurant has great views and service.
The staff is always friendly and all questions are answered promptly.
The drinks in the bars are all bottled, there is something for every taste. . . even champagne and cream liqueur like Baileys. In the lobby there is an Italian coffee machine, live music in the evenings. A bay with a gorgeous view of the islands, always clear water. The beach is sandy and pebbly, but there are pontoons, if you wish, you can enter the water from the stairs directly into the water. Minus one... there is nowhere to walk, although the territory is not small, but there is nowhere to walk, and we love the promenade after dinner.
The rooms are not to say that they are new, and the cleaning is C grade, but since we only spent the night there, it was not so important for us. For a dollar, they made us a heart from a towel with a rose. Geliki replenished, mini bar, too, every day, cola, gas. water, a fanta-type drink, teas in jars of the “carry” type, and, well, ordinary water. coffee, tea too. Check the towels - I open them clean - everything is stained - in the trash, they don’t wash - it’s not very good, but since there were 6 of them for 3, then every day a replacement was enough. There were enough sunbeds, with us they replaced everything on the beach with new seats, they were blue - now they are all gray.
The staff is kind, the manager walks all the time - he is interested in whether everything is fine, he wishes you bon appetit. Animation is weak, maybe because the beginning of the season. Mini club for children, yoga and volleyball. Live music in the evening. Once there was a Turkish show, and so, everything is either in the lobby or at the bar by the sea, where the girl sings to the accompaniment of a musician. I liked that you can take out food, for example, we took champagne to the room in the lobby and fruits in the restaurant, we sat pleasantly in the room, looking at the sea. We were given a mix of nuts for champagne. If you need something, there is a Russian-speaking worker - at the first request, everything is decided.
Basically, I wrote everything. Impressions are pleasant. Just don’t take a tour from Dalaman - it’s a 4-hour drive - the plus is what you consider a free sightseeing tour, the minus is very tiring, it’s better to go to this hotel from Bodrum.
The choice of food is large, lots of grilled food, fruits, vegetables and 2 tables of desserts. Beautiful views of the sea, the territory is very large and green.
We were pleasantly surprised by the evening shows, which were varied and took place every day.
We recommend this hotel to all families and couples!
