Impressed after staying at the Double Tree By Hilton Kemer ULTRA ALL INCLUSIVE hotel (07/04/2019 - 07/13/2019), where from the first to the last day we received only positive emotions, it was decided to visit Turkey again. Everything was wonderful and did not want to return home.
So we decided to return to Turkey, but relying on the recommendations of Tez Tour, we chose AKKA ALINDA HOTEL 5 * - PREMIUM ULTRA ALL INCLUSIVE.
We also flew in close to midnight and at the reception the duty officer took one of our suitcases and dragged it to the basement, inviting us to follow him.
Having settled in the basement room, we rushed in search of food, because. hunger made itself felt, but we were offered to eat some red circles crumbling into powder, calling it sausage and this in a dimly lit buffet room. I think, no, I'm sure, even stray cats and dogs will not eat such a "sausage".
We asked if there was anything edible. In response, we were advised to go to a night bar near the beach, which is open until 2 am and ask for nuts. The contents of the jar that they gave us at the bar consisted of several almonds, some orange balls and small white
balls that could not be cracked. Subsequently, I saw such jars with "nuts" many times near the garbage cans.
Finally, our "wonderful" late dinner was over, but that was only the beginning. . .
I will remember the AKKA ALINDA HOTEL 5 * hotel and its unfriendly staff for the rest of my life.
You can write a lot about food at this AKKA ALINDA hotel, but you can say briefly: you won’t stay hungry, because. you will taste inedible rubbish and as a result you will be satisfied. The food in the restaurant is absolutely tasteless and it doesn't even look like it was prepared by professional chefs. During the twelve days of my stay, I did not find anything good for myself. Every day the assortment of dishes is the same and practically did not change. Once I saw crab sticks, I tried it, but I couldn't swallow this muck. . . We don't sell such things in Lithuania.
There were many sweets, but all tasted the same. Figuratively speaking, as if a piece of sugar was smeared with jam or honey.
And there were no ordinary sweet buns.
A very meager assortment of fruits: apples of one variety, pears of one variety, grapes, bananas, pomegranate pieces... that's all. Figs, persimmons, kiwi, watermelon and much more remained only in dreams and hopes, but I bought everything when I returned to Vilnius.
The kitchen and range of the AKKA ALINDA hotel is a shame for the southern country of Turkey.
A la carte fish restaurant is generally funny and sad. It remains a mystery to me how you can torture the unfortunate shrimp in cooking that they have lost any taste. They even forgot to salt them. They looked like fat slimy worms in burnt flour.
Many additional problems and inconveniences accompanied us daily.
The electronic key sometimes worked from the fifth time to open the door, and then refused to work at all.
The table lamp on the nightstand by the bed wouldn't turn on and the light switch sparked.
The TV remote switched channels sometimes from the tenth time.
The daily "music" performed by Arthur Pirozhkov traumatized the psyche with its loudness and dullness of the texts.
The pier on the beach swayed and there was a feeling that it would collapse, but on the fourth day it was half dismantled and an opportunity was given to "admire" the rusty metal structures.
When I asked at the reception why this "five-star" hotel is designated not just ULTRA ALL INCLUSIVE, but PREMIUM ULTRA ALL INCLUSIVE, they answered me that it was PREMIUM because of the range of drinks.
I confirm that the range of drinks in this PREMIUM is much lower, and you have to pay extra for juices.
In general, this hotel barely pulls at 4 stars, but not at all 5.
