June 2008 with us in this hotel there was one unpleasant event, which we do not want to be silent about. Just at that time, the European Football Championship was taking place, and on that ill-fated night, our team defeated the Swedish team. This is, of course, a digression, but later you will understand why. Late returning to the room, after watching this match in the hotel lobby, we heard the sound of broken glass. Looking out into the corridor, we saw smoke everywhere and people running with things. It turned out that a huge chandelier was burning, hanging through three floors, and the hot glass was falling down. According to the law of meanness, our room was on the ground floor and during the evacuation we had to make our way through the same broken glass. We spent the night on the sunbeds by the pool. In the morning we heard a simply fantastic version that the drunken Russians were so happy about the victory in the match over the Swedes that they accidentally set fire to the hotel. In the morning we were moved to a room in another wing of the building, since there were a lot of empty rooms. a third of the hotel simply refused to be here (especially those who were with children) and moved out to other hotels. We did not move, because. our stay here was coming to an end. This fire did not spoil our holiday, but it was unpleasant for three more days to wash off the soot in our ears, hair and nose, which came out of our lungs when we coughed. Two days later, we decided to see how the renovations were progressing. And they were shocked! The wallpaper has been re-pasted, there is no burnt chandelier and everything is clean - no soot, no burning. Everything is clear, they can not lose tourists!
Thinking about a long-awaited vacation, saving money for it, you always want to choose the best - a beautiful hotel, good food, a large territory, comfortable rooms. But in reality it turns out to be the opposite. And this is the case! When a beautiful picture hides the boorish attitude of the staff and indifference to vacationers. Naturally, on the morning after the fire, we did not receive any apology from the hotel administration...
