We stayed at the MG Club Akman Beach hotel at the beginning of summer. Overall, our impressions were quite good.
Check-in and first "surprises" with the rooms
We arrived at the hotel about an hour before official check-in. Huge respect to the reception staff: they sent us straight to lunch, even without bracelets, as it was already running out. We managed to grab a bite, which is a definite plus for the hotel. After lunch (around 2:00 PM), we returned for check-in. They hinted to us that for an extra $20 or euros, we could choose any room we wanted. Incidentally, they have one building (closest to reception) that had been renovated—the rooms there are the most comfortable. We decided to forego the extra charge. There were two receptionists on duty: one very pleasant, and the other the complete opposite. It was this "unpleasant" one who checked us in, telling us the computer had assigned us a "good" room. When we arrived there, it became clear they were just trying to make money off tourists: instead of the two twin beds we needed, there was a single double bed. The bathroom was very tired, like something out of the 70s. The worst thing was the balcony. It looked partly onto a chicken coop, partly onto a garbage dump. The stench was unbearable! We couldn't even open the balcony door, let alone dry clothes or sit down, because the whole smell immediately wafted into the room. Naturally, we went back to reception to sort things out. That same unpleasant employee said with a smirk, "Don't worry, pay and you'll get a different room. " We had to pay. They gave us room 208 with a garden view. It turned out to be quite adequate, although the furniture wasn't new, and the bathroom was also quite dated (a throwback to the 80s). But thankfully, it was comfortable.

Paid Wi-Fi
The hotel charges $2/€2 per day for internet access per device. We booked a 7-day stay for $10/€10, and later extended it for another day. The connection was excellent throughout the entire property. The signal was weak on the beach during the first few days, but they later fixed it, and the internet was great even by the sea.

Service and Housekeeping

This is where the real downside is. The cleaning is frankly poor. It feels like they're just spreading dirty water around with a mop that doesn't absorb any moisture—after the "cleaning, " there were puddles in the room that had to be wiped up by hand. The shower towels were only changed once. We tried leaving dirty towels for the maid to pick up, but she simply neatly folded them back up. The staff is very odd in this regard. Hotel Grounds
The grounds are small, but very green, well-kept, and pleasant. The only problem is that there are a lot of cats running around the restaurant and the grounds. They constantly pester and beg for food, despite the signs prohibiting feeding, and people ignore them. This was a bit of a nuisance during mealtimes.
Food and Snacks

The food is delicious, and you definitely won't go hungry. There's a strict snack schedule. Breakfast: yogurt, cereal, lots of greens, cheeses, cold meats, milk porridge, eggs, fresh buns, halva, waffles, and cookies. They even fry eggs or omelets with your choice of fillings. The snack bar a little further down makes decent pancakes and offers a variety of jams and preserves. Ketchup and mayonnaise are handy in individual packets. Lunch and dinner: lots of chicken and turkey in various variations, pasta, rice (always available), a huge variety of vegetables, salads, and fruit. A different soup every day. There are plenty of pastries, less baklava, but it was still plenty. Between main meals, they serve fries, burgers, cookies, and ice cream (initially, white and berry, later changed to white chocolate and white strawberry). Every Thursday is Turkish Day: on this day, they serve a lot of fish, making sushi, catfish, and other delicacies (for dinner).
An important detail about water: bottled drinking water (2-3 0.5L bottles) is provided only upon check-in. After that, you'll need to fill your own. The water in the cooler near the bar has an unpleasant aftertaste (like tap water). You can only get proper water from the juice machine in the restaurant, but it's only available during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Bar and Beach
The bar offers standard alcoholic drinks, decent cocktails (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic with various syrups), and soda. They also brew Turkish coffee for 2 euros. There's a cozy terrace nearby, perfect for enjoying a drink or snack outdoors in the evening. Opposite the bar is a stage where children's activities are held every evening. Among the adult entertainment, we enjoyed a great concert, a fire show, and a foam party by the pool. During the day, there were occasional exercise classes. The beach is located right behind the hotel (there are no roads or other buildings between them)—you just walk down the stairs and you're there. It's nice, equipped with comfortable canopies (great shade), and there's a changing room. The lounge chairs have good quality mattresses, and there's plenty of space. There's also a small pier for diving. As for the sea, it was only clean early in the morning; during the day, trash often washed up, making the water a bit dirty. But it was always warm and we got the thrill we came for.
Important: Please note that there are two different hotels with similar names in the village of Camyuva: Fun&Sun Akman Park and our MG Club Akman Beach. Both are 4-star hotels located just across the street from each other, but they are completely different. In conclusion, I'd like to say that this hotel is a good choice for a budget vacation if you're willing to fight for a good room and overlook the quality of cleaning. It lives up to its 4-star status.
