Vacationing in Turkey is not the first time. Vacationing with my wife. According to impressions, this is one of the best hotels in this price category.
We chose a hotel according to the rating on Russian-language sites, then we looked at what we could buy in Latvia and compared the price. We chose between Mirage and Karmir Resort & SPA (almost opposite across the street). Karmir Resort & SPA has a similar rating, the price is lower, but the second line and a small territory, so the choice fell on Mirage, which they did not regret.
Check-in - arrived in the evening, entered the hotel at 20:55 (5 minutes before the end of dinner). We were immediately given bracelets and sent to dinner, they said - check in after dinner. Super. We settled in the second building with two separate beds, which we did not like, we still want to sleep together, we returned to the reception. Thanked $20, we were moved to the main building with one large bed on the 3rd floor.
From the window you could hear the animation of neighboring hotels, but before 24:00 we didn’t go to bed, so that it didn’t bother us at all, the sea and mountains were also visible from the window. If you want silence in the evening, you need to buy a Sea view room - sea view, more expensive, but with a sea view. It will be quiet there. When we arrived, we even had to look for where the evening show was taking place.
The hotel has a huge territory, a huge beach, far (near the volleyball courts, opposite the second building) is almost empty. Two pools - one is loud with animation, a couple of water slides and music, the second is quieter - if you want to sleep - go there. Near the pools for children - 30-50cm deep. Bars are everywhere. 3 just next to the beach (1 on the pier). Everywhere there is alcohol (local and imported) and they make delicious cocktails, which was very important for my wife. Bars differ in the presence / absence of some drinks - the most complete is the Tropicano bar. I had enough drinks in any bar. Alcohol is not diluted. Refrigerators are everywhere.
Bottled water, as well as beer. Some bars have several types of Turkish beer. In the lobby bar, in addition to regular and Turkish coffee, they make different cappuccino, latte, etc. (there is a whole map).
The room is normal, they immediately give out two keys, so the air conditioner can work even while you are sunbathing. No complaints about cleaning. Cleaned every day, cleaned very well. The minibar was also replenished daily (beer, water, cola, fanta, sprite, mineral water), all in glass bottles.
Loved the entertainment and animation. Every day in the evening there was a show, only once in 10 days instead of a show there was a competition - "Queen of the hotel". After the show, live music or karaoke, on the Turkish night there was a competition - belly dancing. Dancing. After 24:00 disco by the beach. Once, instead of an evening show, an invited disco came - a laser show, bubbles, smoke, dancers.
Daily animation - archery, air rifle, darts, bocha, aqua aerobics.
Every day the competition in the pool is fun and interesting! Once there was a "sports day" - there was a bicycle-aqua aerobics and jumping on jumping boots - kengoo jump. In general, the animation is not annoying, if you yourself want to participate, you need to be interested and follow the information, no one drags you by force. All animators are very sociable and responsive, everyone speaks Russian. Special thanks to the animator Ali - he turned any competition into a show, and it was fun for the audience and participants.
The cuisine is excellent, for every taste - beef, lamb, chicken, usually several types of fried fish. Wednesday - fish day - crayfish, crabs, other seafood and sushi. Always watermelons, melons, apples, strawberries. Naturally, a huge selection of Turkish and other sweets. The restaurant is very clean, if something falls from someone, they immediately come running and clean it up. The staff is friendly and caring.
It was very good to have lunch by the pool - hamburgers (do it yourself), pizzas, tacos, gyros, fries, rice, vegetables, salads ...A couple of times for lunch we didn’t even go to the main restaurant. Ice cream was in two places and without queues.
The hotel is not new, but freshly renovated and clean. WiFi works everywhere (in the rooms and even on the beach).
