We rested from 13 to 25 October with children 3 and 4 years old. I absolutely agree with all the reviews, both positive and negative, that there is nothing to even add. It's just that each of us focuses on the most important moments for ourselves. I will express my opinion, by the way, largely inconsistent with the opinion of my husband.
We are a “crazy” family that prefers to relax in all-Russian health resorts called Turkey-Egypt out of season, when it is still (or already) warm enough, but already (or still) there are not a lot of tourists. Yes, at this time, several bars out of 125 available often do not work, there are no many entertainment places, but you don’t have to look for a place on the beach, push around in a restaurant, etc. , you don’t have to spend a lot of time and effort on smearing your bodies (and for some they are very rather big) with a 3-centimeter layer of non-stick coating, you can get by with one centimeter))).
We chose this hotel because of the opportunity to visit Sungate, because. We were there this spring and we really enjoyed it. But we took advantage of this opportunity only a couple of times, we were lazy))). We arrived early in the morning, settled immediately, although we were ready to wait until 14.00 (rules - there are rules), and in a deluxe room with a paid standard. I would like to note that both in Tekirova and in Sungate we did not have to wait, and they provided us with rooms of higher categories. Apparently, this is one of the advantages of "off season". The room is good, spacious, it seems that after a recent renovation. They were in a hurry, probably: stains on the walls, inaccurately painted plinths, something was missing, somewhere an extra hole was drilled, but not smeared, a bunch of different little things. These are the quibbles that did not affect the overall impression and quality of rest at all. We paid attention to this, because. themselves relatively recently received "pleasure" from the repair. What was really not very comfortable for us in the room was the lack of a bathroom (it is inconvenient to wash children) and latches on the doors in the toilet and shower (children always urgently need something). Another point is stuffiness in the room. It's not the air conditioner's fault here, it honestly makes noise, blows. Probably, somehow ventilation needs to be thought out, because with such an elongation of the room, there is nothing to breathe in the area of ​ ​ u200bu200bthe bed and dressing room. We slept with the balcony door open, but that didn't help much. Well, a recommendation for management: you need to come up with some kind of memo on lighting, which switch is responsible for what. We learned the system only towards the end of the second week))).

Separately, about cleaning, or rather its absence. For some reason, we have never been lucky with this in Turkey. Or rather, not so... When we did not have children, it was all the same. With the advent of children, they began to spend more time in the room, somehow unwashed floors, clouds of dust, etc. suddenly began to catch the eye. It was different: she washed and wiped herself, and her husband caught the maids and stayed in the room until the end of the cleaning. And now, upon checking in, I immediately drew attention to sticky spots on the floor, asked me to clean it up. Upon my return, I see that they carried a wet rag exactly where it was indicated, the stains remained, but the stains too. I washed it myself. It’s not difficult for me, but it’s somehow inconvenient to filthy white towels, and I came on vacation, sort of, not to do household chores. Because my children have already left the falling-creeping age, I did not bother with this topic. And we only came to the room to sleep. Towels were changed, garbage was thrown out, the bar sometimes forgot to be replenished, the floors were sometimes wiped. By the way, when we were moved to another room, they simply mothballed one floor due to the lack of guests, and we were left there alone, and so there the maid approached her duties more responsibly, there are no complaints.
Nutrition. Here everything is somewhat ambiguous. The soups were very good. It was nice to see milk porridge and, most surprisingly, boiled buckwheat. For me it was a salvation, because. This is my son's favorite food. I was very upset by pastries and sweets, somehow not in Turkish tasteless. Fruit, yes - there is, yes - a lot. But maybe let it be small, but ripe. Lunches and dinners are poor. Everything is there - fish, meat, and vegetables - you will not stay hungry, but everything is somehow monotonous and bleak. Despite this, a couple of extra pounds came from somewhere))). Barbecue restaurant did not like. Several times went to the fish, delicious. Confectionery - it is better to remove this word from booklets and hotel descriptions in order not to be misleading. 3 types of something similar to a cake and 1 type of buns in the lobby bar cannot be a patisserie. Bartenders and waiters are great, they try, but when serving they give preference to compatriots. I can’t say anything intelligible about the quality of alcohol, I drank a local 5-degree “champagne”, delicious, I like it. The brands of whiskey preferred by my husband in Beldibi are in the category of paid ones, he drank them in Sungate, there for free.
The territory is excellent, well-groomed. In my opinion, I would add a little flowering plants, or rather, brighter ones, just a little. The fact that the territory is small turned out to be very convenient for me - the children are always in sight. The entrance to the sea - we were ready for this. My husband swam from the pier, and I managed to jump over the pebbles. The children showed off, bought them slippers, but they still swam without them. Maybe next season management will come up with something other than slippery sandbags. By the way, the last storm blew the pier to pieces.
Kids club. My kids woke up with the words “Is the kids club open? ” They were there for almost all opening hours. Thanks to this, I finally tanned))).
