We rested at the hotel with my husband and parents in mid-August. After reading a lot of not very good reviews about the hotel, I was worried that everything would be the same. BUT, once again I am convinced that how many people, so many opinions. I work in tourism in the cruise industry and have vacationed mainly on liners and in Europe, so I have something to compare with. The hotel looks great, located in a great location, the sea is gorgeous, the beach is huge compared to neighboring hotels (I specifically walked along the coastline to make sure of this).
Check-in: we arrived at 11 o'clock, the rooms were said to be ready in a couple of hours, but we put on bracelets and we could fully use everything that was available at the hotel at that time (snack bar, bar, beach). After 1.5 hours we went for lunch and after that we were settled.
Rooms: according to reviews, I read that you need to take in the main building, as the villas are being renovated. But we were settled in a villa and we did not regret a bit, since you can go to the beach / from the beach in a swimsuit (you won’t go into the main building like that), well, you don’t need to ride the elevator for a long time)). We had 2 rooms: one on the first floor is completely new only after renovation with new furniture and a small balcony designed for 3 people (super! ) and the second on the third floor, less than two times, low ceilings, without repair, water spread from the shower all over the bathroom, with a large balcony... sad, but we didn’t come to sit in the room, so we didn’t make any claims.
Food and drinks: the food is delicious and varied, you look at it and want to eat. For breakfast, different options for eggs, breakfast cereals, vegetables, herbs and fruits, sausages / sausages (but I don’t eat that even in Europe, so I didn’t try it here either), delicious coffee in the lobby bar (and in general, the most delicious drinks were in it ). Lunch - chicken, turkey, beef, white fish, grilled turkey and fish, soups, rice, bulgur, sauté , vegetables, herbs, sweets, baklava, various fruits, etc. Well, dinner is about the same. In general, there is a lot of food, everyone will find for themselves, there were enough tables, it happened that you would look for a little, but you always sit down. There was ayran in the snack bar, Turkish flatbread, you can make hamburgers yourself, rustic potatoes, boiled corn, 3 types of ice cream were handed out every day for one hour. There weren’t so many hungry there)) We drank beer for alcohol, cocktails in the lobby bar are the most delicious and in glass glasses, wine is normal, there was Baileys in its pure form a couple of times.
Territory and beach: the territory is beautiful, green, not everything has been done yet, but something was constantly being completed. I met in the reviews that there are puddles on the paths - and yes, they happen there, because the grass and flowers are constantly watered there, you can get around, jump over and nothing will happen to anyone) There is a water park with 3 slides on the territory of the hotel (the 4th one did not work) . There are 2 pools, one is where the water park is, the second is the main one, large and winding (I would recommend making bridges across the pool so as not to bypass it). The beach is pebble, large, wide and clean, there were enough sunbeds for everyone, and they were literally in three rows, and then another walk along the pebbles, while in other neighboring hotels almost to the sea there were sunbeds, because the beach was narrow, they took towels in the morning, delivered in the evening. The sea is clear, even a few fish were seen. In the water there were inflatable trampolines, bananas and all that, everyone climbed from neighboring hotels.
There was also a pier, on which there were also sun loungers and it was possible to get off it into the sea. Well, insanely beautiful view from the sea to the mountains! This combination is simply amazing!
Entertainment: there is always a show in the evening (dancers, acrobats, singers, miss hotel, etc. ). Well done animators, from the morning until the disco inclusive. During the day, various competitions, games, volleyball, water aerobics, in general, whoever wants to participate, but do not bother. In the evening, there is a disco, not a real movement, but you can dance for an hour or two, smoke a hookah and just relax after a busy day)
The staff speaks Russian, the rest are mostly Turks, Russians, Iranians, and few Ukrainians.
In general, all of mine were very satisfied, with the most pleasant memories, and even if there were some moments, they in no way affected the rest. I am not one of the spoiled ones, but there is something to compare with and I can say that I would return to Avangard Comfort again.
