I am writing directly from the hotel.
We bought tickets in advance, chose for a long time and stayed at the Maxim Hotel, although personally I was alarmed only by positive reviews - if there were minor shortcomings, then among the huge number of pluses.
Of course, there are pluses: a compact area - the beach and the pool are located so that you can move from the sea to the pool and back during the day without difficulty, the rooms are clean, the kitchen is good, the choice of dishes is quite large.
But the hotel does not pull on 5 - a maximum of 4+. And all the seemingly trifles that spoil the impression: dirty flooring in the corridors, insufficient number of seats in the restaurant, so the constant search for a free table, some kind of unkempt territory...

For the first time, I got into a situation where everyone was settled exactly at 14.00. This, of course, is written everywhere, but in all hotels, if there are places, people are settled immediately, in Maxim - only after two... We observe this every day: everyone who arrives before two is marinated, and only then the whole crowd is settled at once - believe me it has nothing to do with the release of the rooms, or with cleaning - this is also clearly visible when you live in a hotel... It's just such a policy of the administration.
At the same time, it’s good if you are a foreigner and came to rest with your family, but if you are Russian, and even came without a husband with two children, you are nobody and there’s no way to call you....
So think. . .
