About the hotel. Information and photos on the site do not correspond to reality. Photo 4-5 years ago. There is no pool, no territory - only a narrow passage along the building to the dining room - just a dining room, not a restaurant. There are no rooms as in the photo either, everything is much more modest and resembles Soviet sanatoriums. The hotel is designed for a Soviet person with Soviet psychology, who does not care what conditions to rest in. Complain, no one will demand. Olympus is declared as 3 stars, but does not pull even 2. The main motto of the new owner is ultra-economy in everything. This applies to repair, food, beach, maintenance, range of services. The agency said that there is a new renovation. In fact, the repair is light cosmetic, in a hurry, with big imperfections. The rooms were divided by 2 to increase the number of vacationers. At the same time, in some of them the doors to the next room were not blocked, which led to a complete lack of sound insulation. Audibility is absolute, even if they speak quietly behind the wall. The lighting is half working due to incorrectly installed wiring. There are no lamps in the room, just screwed and not always clean light bulbs.
We spent the first sleepless night in the room. the Turks lived behind the wall and the door was not blocked there - a TV to the fullest, then a 3-hour conversation on the phone on the speakerphone, then just talking. The room is small, shabby, with a hint of renovation. The walls are shabby, the cracks at the bottom are somehow smeared over, there is rust and fungus in the bathroom. In the morning they came to change the room. The administrator said that you need to pay extra 20 dollars. I had to pay and move to another room, which differed from the first one in size (it was larger), but with the same “repair”, cracked walls and non-working light bulbs, though without a door to the next room. There is nothing on the balcony for drying clothes. We bought a rope in the store and pulled it ourselves. Cleaned the room 2 times, towels changed. They are washed but stained. Air conditioning, hair dryer, TV - working. Hot water only during the day, due to the fact that it is heated by the sun. In the morning and in the evening (when it is most needed) - only cold. Soap and shampoo were available.
Service. Unique receptionist. Does not inform about the structure of the hotel, services. To my question: where to go for dinner? He answered - go for a walk around the hotel, you will find it yourself. When leaving, I didn’t give out lunch boxes to anyone, I just left the reception and that’s it. You can apply for the elimination of breakdowns, they promise, but no one comes anywhere. Wi-fi in the room does not catch, only downstairs and in the bar. But if it does connect, then the Internet is very weak and not always available, due to the bandwidth of the router, designed for the number of tourists 2 times less.

Nutrition. Monotonously and for an amateur. A set of soft, very salty cheeses, margarine in bags - not butter! , tomatoes and cucumbers cut into huge pieces, french fries every day - fried until rubbery. Vegetable dishes are heavily overcooked with a lot of liquid, which is why they lose their natural taste. Normal only bulgur. Of the desserts - one set - dough, filled with syrup to the state of porridge, something similar to jelly (disgusting), apples and plums. People went and found out why there are no seasonal fruits, but only apples and plums. They didn't say anything meaningful. They don’t bother with cooking there - everything is the simplest, to the point of primitivism, they don’t care about the taste of the dishes. I would give the chef a prize for the ability to spoil food in such a way and cook disgustingly. So you have to know. Since there are 2 times more tourists, there are not enough tables for everyone, as well as cups, teaspoons and bowls for first courses. Dishes are a problem. When asked to wash and bring clean bowls for soup and cups, the waiters do not respond, they simply freeze, and they allegedly do not understand either Russian or English. People first ask, and then just leave. Tea has to be drunk from plastic cups. At first, the waiters quickly cleared the tables. Then they stopped, even when you tell them, you bring them to the table - they still don’t clean it, not to mention sweeping and wiping the table.
Beach. It remains the same, nothing has been increased. The beach towel is issued for the entire stay and cannot be changed. Since the sea is very salty, on the third day you can put a towel under the wall, it is completely saturated with salt. A separate story is the struggle for survival on the beach, which is designed for fewer tourists. They come to take sunbeds at 4.30 -5.00 in the morning, throw a towel on the sunbed and go back to the room. At 7 am all the sunbeds are occupied. But even just lying on the pebbles without a sunbed will not work, because there is simply no free space - a very small beach. After breakfast on the beach, a showdown between tourists usually begins about occupied places. Accordingly, insults and profanity are used. People do not understand that claims about the capacity of the beach and the number of sunbeds should be presented to the owner of the hotel, and not swear among themselves. The beach bar is actively selling sun loungers from neighboring hotels - you can buy for $ 3 and sunbathe on a nearby beach. Pebbles are very large, entry and exit from the sea is problematic - you need rubber slippers - corals (you can buy in shops for 3-5 dollars). Descent into the water is not equipped. The sea is wonderful, the water is warm and absolutely transparent, although the fish bite strongly, and constantly.
Summary. Hotel information is not correct. The hotel does not care about the comfort of tourists and is designed for a scoop. Only the reception is beautifully decorated, and in the buildings there is just a stable in the Soviet style. The price is taken as for 4 stars, without providing the necessary conditions and services. Do not listen to tour operators, bypass this hotel. If you value and respect yourself even a little, look for something better! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! !
