A little backstory.
The trip was spontaneous and the budget was limited. They wanted Kemer and the hotel in the city center - in fact, that's why the choice fell on Olympos. First time in a 3* hotel. They read the reviews, looked at the photos, so to speak, "beached their eyes", but believed in the best...
So, the Olympos hotel may appeal to those who first came to Turkey after the camp sites, or those who spend all the time outside the hotel - on the beach, excursions or parties, or constantly tipsy. Or if well oooooochen prioooochen cheap price.
Of the pluses, I want to note only an excellent location - everything is nearby: the sea, parks, shops.

Number. Ours was on the 1st floor. When settling in, it was difficult to assess the entire depth of the depths... As it turned out later, it was dampness, the stench from the sewer, the complete absence of at least some kind of soundproofing: both in the room and in the bathroom. Drying towels and clothes is difficult. There was also mold in the bathroom, bare wires, plaster falling off in places and . . on the day of departure, a huge COCKROACH appeared. TV, air conditioning, hair dryer - everything worked.
Cleaning. Once every 3 days or on request. Change of towels on request. If there is no paper, shampoo or shower gel, you can catch an employee and take it yourself.
Nutrition. Rest in the hotel can be safely called a fitness tour. Queuing for scrambled eggs in the morning, for dinner - for watermelon. From meat, mainly offal and soy, a couple of times there was a holiday - they gave chicken legs and something like chicken nuggets. Fruits - orange, plum, a couple of times watermelon and melon. But there were always cucumbers and tomatoes, stewed vegetables, rice and pasta. There was also fish - mackerel and some other small ones. The cooks, of course, are great fellows - they squeezed the maximum out of what was... I can’t say anything about alcohol. There are many cafes near the hotel, there is Mac)
Water. Upon arrival, each person is given a bottle of 0.5 liters. It is important not to throw them away, because during the rest it will be necessary to draw water from the cooler in them.
Beach. It is a pain. And a joy for team building lovers)) There is very little space and a lot of people on sunbeds and in the sea: from the very early morning - from 6.00, and everyone disperses after 19.30 (the beginning of dinner). The beach is pebbly, the entrance is more convenient to carry out in special shoes. Decent waves in the first half of the day, calm in the afternoon. Near the beach of the Lancora hotel (there is also a full house, but a little more freely, a sunbed costs $ 2, a towel is free). Who likes sandy beaches, you can go to the Moonlight Park - sunbed $ 3. It’s probably not worth talking about the purity of the sea in this area: the port is nearby, and people, alas, are swine. The number of vacationers on weekends is increasing significantly.

Internet. Free at the reception and near the store with furs. There is a paid one: 1 day - $3.3 days - $5.7 days - $10. The price is for 1 device (! ) If you need the Internet to work, it is better to buy a Vodafone or Turkcell SIM card. But there are nuances with blocking the phone in the country in the future, google it.
Contingent. Ukraine, Russia, Turkey. Couples - youth and aged, families with children.
Near the hotel (at the exit and across the road) you can buy fruit. Cherries, strawberries, melons, nectarines, peaches, figs and others. At $1.5-2 per kg. Travel agency, scooter rental across the road. Close to minimarkets and supermarkets.
A small digression. It was in Kemer 7 years ago that I first came to Turkey. I was delighted with the trip, probably because it was the first trip and the rest was in May, when there were much fewer people. This time, alas, I noticed that the city is very dirty, it is becoming stuffy - there is less and less free space every year - new cafes and retail outlets appear in any free area, and more and more people. We will look for new places to stay.
