We returned to Marmaris by chance: we bought a tour the day before departure, we were looking for a 5 * hotel, on the 1st line and with instant confirmation. That's how we ended up in Orca.

I recommend to be careful (! ) There are several room options: promo (mainly first floors, overlooking the fence, construction site or neighboring room), standard (usually 2-3-4 floor), side sea view and sea view - here the difference is significant and those who, due to their own carelessness or the incompetence of their travel agent, paid for a side view upon arrival are often upset and like to make trouble.
Standard room - decorated in the style of wood + glass, there is a mini-bar, no iron and ironing board, no bathrobes, slippers (including children's) are. Toiletries replenished regularly, towels changed daily.

Territory. Not big, located along the sea, but well designed. Several pools, a mini water park for children, several large slides, an area for evening shows. Right on the territory of the hotel there is a market, a clothing store, jewelry, a spa, a beauty salon, fitness. Change of beach towels for dry ones is not provided.
Beach. Large, gentle entry into the sea, a lot of free sunbeds (but most likely this is due to the cool sea : ) There are paid pavilions (boars), ordinary and with a jacuzzi.
Nutrition. The choice of dishes is not large, without frills. They cook delicious. Usually, many people are interested in seafood: 1 time there were shrimp, fish every day, and fruits: there was a line for strawberries : ), there were no watermelons and melons, there were apples, pears, peaches, apricots. There are fresh juices in the morning.
A la carte visited only Italian - not bad, and the dishes are not the same as in the main restaurant.
There is a late breakfast and late dinner, afternoon snacks by the pool.
Nuances.
1. It will be interesting for coffee lovers. Do not take cappuccino in coffee machines (!!! ), it's slop. You need to order a latte - there is in the lobby bar at the reception, as well as in Bluebar. An important note: latte is served in tall transparent cups, but the machines that make this drink often break down (and not all employees, as it turned out, know how to use them).
2. The contingent - 80-90% is Ukraine and Russia.
3. Because the hotel is located in a mountainous area, quite a lot of steps, but it all depends on where the room will be located.
4. The hotel is very beautiful and relatively new, and if it was well looked after, it would be great.
5. Construction of new buildings on the territory.
If the hotel was not positioned as the best in Marmaris, there would be less expectations. And you should not compare the hotel and service with the Antalya coast, then there will be no unjustified expectations.
