Another Turkey
Two months later, I decided to write about our wonderful trip to Turkey. My motto is: better late than never ))) Many of our friends, comrades, colleagues, etc. , began their acquaintance with "vacation abroad" just from visiting resorts in Turkey, but my husband and I somehow did not dare . Before that, they managed to travel to more exotic countries, and a trip to Turkey was put on the back burner. There were reasons for that. namely, the perceptions of this country that have been established in society. For most of our tourists, Turkey is the resorts of Antalya, animation by the pool and all inclusive... Not without that, but. . . the real Turkey is something more. After our summer trip to Marmaris, the stereotype that in Turkey there is nothing else to do except eat delicious food and swim in the warm sea was completely destroyed for us))) If you bother to go beyond a comfortable hotel, you can find out that the real Turkey is a country of well-being and comfort, a unique atmosphere and color, it is a country of four seas, the sun, an amazing mix of European and Oriental culture, centuries-old history and natural attractions, it is a country with the smell of unique “Turkish coffee” and with the taste of Turkish delight and honey sweets… Almost two months have passed, and we still have such a pleasant "aftertaste" in the form of pleasant memories of the trip)) Isn't this an indicator of a quality holiday? If anything, I highly recommend the Marmaris region for relaxation. The city itself is simply beautiful, with well-kept white houses and brown tiled roofs, narrow cobbled streets, blue sea and an indescribable atmosphere. In short, Marmaris is a different story. . . As a result, I can say that Turkey is a country where you don’t want to return, but rather stay there. . .
