We rested in June 2012. The hotel made a double impression. There are pluses, and considerable, and minuses. In general, I think that the rest in this institution is not bad, and for sure those who will like it... well, who have not seen anything better)))
Now in order. The pluses of this hotel include a large territory, there is where to walk, breathe fresh air. But this is far from a garden, and three and a half gardeners who periodically imitate violent activity do not save you from the sight of withered flowers.
Rooms are a separate issue. It's just misery. That freshly refurbished superiors, that the standards stink of rot the same way, but not all of them. We lived in house number 4, in two rooms, on the first and second floors. So, on the second floor everything was wonderful, on the first floor it constantly stank.

The staff doesn't seem well-trained and doesn't show much zeal for cleaning the rooms, but in general, everything is fine, if you don't forget to leave 5-10 dollars on the bed))
The water park is just amazing. Lots of slides for both adults and kids. There is even a toddler pool with a sandy bottom, which is very nice. True, on my return I treat my ears: the doctors say that I brought some kind of infection with the water from the pool, something like that.
As for nutrition, everything is also ambiguous. Lots of food. Lots of. Although, to put it mildly, the absence of berries surprised me. For 16 days, there was never a strawberry, they spoiled cherries three or four times. Of course, you won’t be hungry, and the choice seems to be quite good, but somehow everything is rustic.
Turks don’t know how to cook fish at all, but here with sea food there is a full pipe: for lunch and dinner, one or two fish dishes at best, it’s better not to remember about shrimp: a couple of times it was offered what local restaurateurs consider shrimp, but it’s better not eat.
For meat in alibee, everything is not so bad, there are a dozen or two dishes of beef / chicken / lamb / turkey to choose from. Everything is very simple and without frills. Amazed by the beef steaks. It's like you have to dislike your guests to do this. . . Apparently, such words as filet mignon, ribeye are not included in the vocabulary of the chef of this restaurant.
In a corner, a Turkish look at Italian pasta is poured, next to it is a man of Asian appearance pretending to be Japanese and sushi. Small and inedible.
There are also desserts (sometimes not bad), and local pastries. Fresh juices only for breakfast, and only from oranges, moreover, in half with water. At any other time, you will not get freshly squeezed juice for any gingerbread.
Comparing Alibey with others, even Turkish hotels, is somehow embarrassing: well, there will be no champagne with ice cream and berries for breakfast here, as in the same Dolphin Botany.
Regarding fitness: so, in this hotel it is paid!! ! Maybe fitnessfirst is very cool and unique in Turkey, I don't know. But I'm facing this for the first time.

I liked that there are no problems with sun loungers on the beach. There are really a lot of them. It may seem that the beach is sandy, but once you try to go into the sea, it becomes clear that this is not so. A pebble, though quite large. It’s better not to go to the sea without slates, it’s unpleasant. Finding a couple of free sun loungers by the pool (the one by the restaurant) after 10-00 never happened. But from the balcony I watched how pedantic Germans at 7 in the morning booked them in rows. Although this is not a problem: there is also a quiet pool, a kind of club for those who are over... well, and a water park. It was always possible to get settled there without any problems.
About these your internets. They are not in the rooms. Apparently, the owners of this luxury establishment consider this an excess. So if you feel like checking your mail, or leaving a review: welcome to the pools, where he works every other time, or to the Turkish cafe, where he, sometimes, still somehow moves. For especially suffering there is a reception)))
I was lucky in this regard: room 430, on the balcony you could pick up a pool waffle.
A huge plus of the alibey is a small number of our fellow citizens, but they definitely exist: they are heard every night, after 3 hours, which perfectly illustrates both the soundproofing in the rooms and the love for the homeland of our compatriots singing hits of modern and not very pop music.
In the evening, at 21-30, if there is no rain, everyone can enjoy Broadway musicals in German performed by local stars: Chingiz and Nazan. It's very funny to open your mouth under the plywood. Especially delivers the spectacle of the Turks in the form of the English aristocracy of the 19th century. I recommend with all my heart: joy is guaranteed.

And finally, a little story.
Upon departure, our plane was delayed, and at 12-00 the cards stopped opening numbers. Since this is the case, I, a naive Russian boy, went to the reception with a request to extend the room for a day. 213 dollars (or euros, I don't remember) for a room is not an issue. But then it turned out that there were no available rooms, and we were offered to rest until 2 am right there, at the reception. Such sincere people who care for the guest))) I must say right away that I managed to beg for one number, but the sediment remained.

According to my personal impressions, the hotel draws on a solid three-ruble note, there is definitely no question of any four, let alone five stars. But if you are not very picky about food, you are familiar with colloquial German, you and your children do not need animation, and you have a slight runny nose - your hotel is an alibe. Otherwise, it's better to look for another one.
