Since I read all the reviews before the vacation, I will now write my own : ) Maybe it will be useful to someone.

I, my husband, my mother and a child of one and a half years rested from May 12 to May 24 with the Tez tour operator. In principle, I liked the tour operator, hotel guides are in the hotel all day, which is very convenient. On their part, there was no divorce for expensive excursions, they always prompted something when questions arose.

The hotel was chosen because of its beauty (not disappointed), high slides (not disappointed), large pool (not disappointed) and price (this is also a plus). We were very satisfied with the rest, although most of the disadvantages that are described here are true. It's just that for some it's archival, but for some it doesn't give a damn : ) Rest for us was very long-awaited, so we enjoyed everything. The first week they were just crazy, the second week they already found fault and found flaws.

: ) Before that, I rested in the Turkish troika, and my husband - in several Tunisian fives.

In general, the hotel is sooooo beautiful, lots of rooms where you can take pictures. but 5 years of work take their toll a bit. In a good way, you need to grease a little there, tint here, and replace the glass here.

We arrived at the hotel at 9 o'clock. As usual, we were asked to wait until 2 o'clock. At 12-30 our guide Vasilina came to the reception and it turned out that the room was already ready. We paid for a family room (2 rooms separated by a door). No wonder I was worried that I could not find any information at all about the appearance of these very family rooms. It turned out that one room is the same as in the advertising photo: with stucco, mirrors, a double bed, and in the second there are no windows, the room itself is a walk-through, a wall lamp, a lamp on a leg, a chest of drawers and two single iron beds standing so close to each other, it's hard to get between them.
: (Of course, we were upset, we expected two full-fledged rooms, but given that there are only 37 family rooms in this hotel and on the contrary there was exactly the same room, we didn’t make a fuss and stayed.

Upon arrival, the hotel was about 50% full, there were many Germans who stood out for their coldness and arrogance, well, God bless them. A small percentage of Eastern Slavs (Poles, Czechs ... ) also have a rest, and Turkish families came on weekends.

The main restaurant had a huge selection of food, everyone found something to their taste. On the street in the evenings they cooked either fish, or meatballs, or quails ...First of all, we were worried about the issue of baby food. There were no problems with this: they always found something suitable in the common table, and a couple of days later they opened a separate children's menu. In principle, there were the same products, but, for example, they peeled the peel from cucumbers. We didn't go there - it's a dark and stuffy room, and we preferred to sit by the window closer to the exit.

Of the fruits there was such an assortment: 2 types of apples, oranges, grapefruits and at the end of the rest - watermelons. I gave the child local water, ayran, and given that we sometimes ate sand on the beach, there were no problems with digestion and stool. So the chilling stories of past years about wild poisonings did not touch us, and we did not hear complaints from anyone about this. In general, no one got sick during the whole vacation.

The hotel has 5 a la carte restaurants. Recording near the reception at the table with the inscription guest relation (by the way, they know both Turkish and Russian at the guest relay, so go there with your problems : ) they helped us a lot to explain to the Turks so that we were given a dryer for things on the balcony, which was not there). Free visit to the restaurant ONCE (more than once a week) for the entire stay. There is a beautiful environment, you can take pictures, the food is beautifully served.
We were in a Mexican restaurant, the food is sooo spicy and, like in other restaurants, it is very similar to the menu that was for lunch in the main restaurant : ) The main dish was a steak or chicken - tasty and beautifully served. The waiters don’t know English at all, my husband asked me to bring the menu, so we didn’t wait for it : ) So we didn’t eat enough and went to finish our meal in the main restaurant : )

In general, the staff is very friendly. The Turks are very fond of children and this, of course, is very pleasing to pride when everyone is happy for your baby, they take it in their arms, kiss their hands, smile. I did not see any difference in the attitude of the staff towards the Germans and Russians.

The nature of the Side region is very reminiscent of our Sea of u200bu200bAzov - none. We ourselves went by minibus to walk around the ruins of Side, we didn’t take a tour - we liked it very much. From our beach, with a large zoom on the camera, you can see the white columns of Side on the protruding headland if you look to the left.

There is sand on the sea and this is a big plus - you go into the water without any problems, there is no sharp depth, so it’s not scary to swim in the stormy sea. We had time to splash on the high waves for our pleasure up to the stuffy ears. The pool is great, the slides are great. The indoor pool is separated by a partition, but during our stay it was not there and it was possible to dive from the main pool into the indoor one. In the pools, too, swam a lot and often. Baldeli : ) The children's pool is rather cool, as it seemed to me, the water circulates there more, but I also see a plus in this - it does not stagnate, which means there will be no infections.

The road to the sea did not bother us, not far away - we almost always walked. Believe me, if the wait for the electric car comes out the same time.

We drove with the hope that the hotel would have good internet, as my husband needed it for work. But the Internet there is terrible, the page is loaded for an hour, it is impossible to connect all the time.
Although if you catch the time when everyone is on the beach, you could make a Skype call with a video link! ! ! but we saw such cases only a couple of times during the rest. And the rest of the time - just a waste of nerves.

Our child, although by age, is not yet ready to remain under the supervision of children's animators, but we often went to the house to play with toys. Animator Irina left a very pleasant impression, the children are crazy about her. : )

Evening entertainment, in my opinion, is a bit short. Children's animation with standard music lasted from 8-30 to 9-15, and for adults - until 10-30. Various groups came (samba, two Turkish groups, one of which is very similar to Georgian dances and music))))), on other days there were standard evenings "Best Couple", "Lottery" and so on.

Animation in this hotel is unobtrusive. I don't know if this is a plus or a minus. In the previous hotel where we rested, the animation was 5+, everyone knew them, they managed to raise the biggest couch potatoes. Everything is wrong here.
We didn't have any contact with them during the whole trip. They passed, they announced, there were always those who wanted to attend their events, but they did not pester anyone.

Now about cleaning the room. This was the main downside. as there were 4 of us, thorough cleaning was required. The maid is always in a hurry somewhere. if he doesn’t clean in the morning at 9 o’clock - he comes at the end of his working day - at three o’clock, both times didn’t suit us: then we were going to the beach, then our child was sleeping. After washing, the floors still remained dirty, there was garbage on the floor, hair: (((But towels were ALWAYS changed. They even changed the towel without permission if it was wet, but did not lie on the floor. There was so much dust under the bed that it was definitely from last season no one cleaned. The bed is made up as if "well, it's made up. " Tips regularly disappeared, but we did not notice a difference in cleaning. Once we were made a swan and decorated the bed with flowers.
In the top three, where we rested before, they cleaned it for 5+ and made the bed so that we were amazed: not a single fold, as in the picture. so, apparently, it does not depend on stardom. A piece of paint was torn off on the wall at the entrance and our child proved that it is very easy to remove it - it stretches like paper. we guarded this site from our daughter for the whole rest, she really liked it so that a white wall would not remain after us. So if someone gets into the number 2008 - sorry: (Maybe they will paint over ...

A couple of times we went to the market near the hotel for souvenirs and fruits. They took apricots, strawberries, mulberries. Bought a hookah, clothes, textiles. I'll tell you the Turks this year are not very traded. Very reluctantly and drop a little.

At the end of our holiday, the Germans left and the Russians arrived, the hotel was 100% full. That's when it got crowded and dirty.
Long queues lined up for food, a crowd of nervously waiting people were already gathering under the restaurant half an hour before the opening, the waiters stopped coping, there were not enough plates, water in the boiler, tea, and so on. asking the waiter to bring something to drink could only be done the first 15 minutes after opening, then they switched to cleaning the tables. There were also not enough sun loungers on the beach and there were no seats in the main restaurant. it was very unpleasant to see a lot of garbage and empty bottles by the pool, which can break and cause a lot of trouble, because many people go barefoot. Plates with food were carried away to the rooms, although a ban on taking food out of the restaurant was specifically written only in Russian. The most delicious dishes were sorted out in the first 10 minutes. meat (chicken, beef, lamb) is rapidly disappearing;

In general, we had to fight for a good place in the restaurant and a delicious plate. From this I conclude that the hotel is not ready to serve such a mass of people. Too many rooms for the size and the amount of staff.

Ice cream and watermelons are handed out by the pool during the day, and a Turkish woman bakes cakes on the beach all day long. If you don't want to go for lunch, you can have lunch at the beach bar or by the pool.

Another thing that was VERY annoying was the subdued light. Everywhere there are energy-saving light bulbs, and day and night in the corridor to the room you go like a blind chicken. They have this lighting everywhere. The gym seems to have good equipment, but it’s also twilight, even if you gouge out your eye.

Spa treatments at the hotel in a large assortment, but very expensive. For 60-80 dollars, we went there on an excursion - the surroundings are very beautiful, but we didn’t order anything, but spent our free money on excursions.

In recent days, the general air conditioner on the building has broken.
And it was being renovated on our floor and through our last room. It bothered us a little, especially when the workers asked to work at night. Of course, we didn’t let them in at night, but we didn’t go to make a fuss, because we left the next day - it didn’t matter.

In general, the hotel justifies its cost. For 13 days, 3 adults plus a child, we paid $ 2.700. The price asked for in high season, in our opinion, the hotel is not worth it. We had a very good rest, but we are unlikely to go there again because there are disadvantages, but we think that they are due to the price of the tour. Since similar hotels of this level are more expensive. I agree that the hotel is good value for money. Ride with a good attitude and you will definitely enjoy it!

Next time we plan to try a radically different hotel for comparison: fewer rooms, take good 4 * (we don’t need so much booze : ))) and so that there are fewer Russians.
