We were in Turkey for the first time. And the whole system, as you mentioned in the title, was very reminiscent of pioneer camps: breakfast, lunch and dinner according to the schedule, entertainment is standard.
We arrived at 5pm and were seated immediately. Many thanks to the hotel guide from Tez Tour - Bakhtiyar, helped fill out the questionnaire. After the flight, my ears and head hurt very much. The room turned out to be clean and the windows overlooked an abandoned canal with frogs. At first we were upset and then realized that it was simply impossible to fall asleep to the noise of the disco.
The room was cleaned every day, women only understand Turkish.
The food is varied. Thursday was a fish day. Sharks were exhibited near the pool, sushi was made, salads from seafood, grilled fish. Friday was a Turkish day with singers, an impromptu bazaar and donkey and camel rides. Very friendly waiters, they immediately cleaned everything up, brought drinks.

Mostly couples from Turkey, Poland, Germany and, of course, Russia rested at the hotel. Everything was decorous, important, without incident. The only thing that was unpleasant was that only our compatriots can take sun loungers by the pool and go to the sea for the whole day.
Somewhere I read in the reviews about the animation that it was unobtrusive. I completely agree. Whoever wanted to, did gymnastics, somewhat reminiscent of yoga, fun aqua aerobics and competitions.
Children and parents really liked children's discos. Everyone danced, everyone had fun.
The hotel is located in the small village of Cholakli. There is nothing decent nearby! Zero infrastructure!! ! We just didn't expect this. In the markets ten minutes from the hotel, the prices are crazy, the Turks are pestering, ready for anything to buy their T-shirts, bags and souvenirs. And there is nothing else!!!!
We went to Side and Manavgat. Bus stop next to the hotel. For $2.50 you can visit quite decent cities with shops and sights. We went to Manavgat. Exchanged dollars for Turkish liras and enjoyed shopping.
Excursions are mostly for the whole day. This is from a tour operator. But in one day we traveled half the coast and looked at the tombs and the amphitheater and the underwater city, and tasted wine, and were at the onyx factory.
We enjoyed our holiday - good value for money. But not five stars!
In general, the main mood. You can go all vacation and find fault, or you can relax!
