Jaffar Abi helped us in everything, if we did not know the way, he explained everything. Was always ready to help. Lamie, who cleaned every day, changed linen and towels. Every day I put a new shampoo and soap. There is a safe in the room, no one steals, nothing is lost. I also want to emphasize the kitchen: Food in bulk, 2 girls and 3 guys work there. Very friendly staff. If I go for the second time, I will definitely choose this hotel. Thanks to everyone who served us.

The hotel was chosen by Lady Diana Hotel 4 *, as they wanted in the Sultanahmet area. The only negative in the hotel was that the SPA was closed for repairs, and this information was not written or told anywhere. But on the advice of people, we chose another SPA (for an additional fee). Placed on the 5th floor with a beautiful view from the room. On the 6th floor there was a restaurant overlooking the Blue Mosque. From the hotel, a 2-minute walk to the tram stop and convenient access to the market. Just a couple of stops to go. SH breakfasts are monotonous. I recommend)

The rooms... this is a separate shock... the furniture is torn off, the bed is stained... brrr. the room has never been cleaned for 5 days. this horror with curtains). the stench in the corridors....like in a public toilet.
The host was zem expert.
Also, the settlement was waiting for 6 hours.
The manager of this miracle institution... is a separate story... a clown and a boor.
I do not advise anyone!

Decided to go somewhere for the weekend. And then an offer from Only Tour "Weekend in Istanbul" caught my eye. My husband and I have already been to Turkey more than once, but rather along the beaches, and here is Istanbul (a city of contrasts, as everyone remembers from Soviet times & # 61514; ). It’s not far to fly, there are a lot of sights, the program is very rich and the price seemed very attractive, so we decided. So... In order: The hotel was chosen by "Lady Diana", 4 stars. It fully corresponds to its stardom, which is rare for Turkey. The rooms are new, although not large, cleaning daily, even the linen was changed every day, without any tips. On the very first morning, we felt the color - at 5.30 - a call to prayer, but in Istanbul you can hardly find a hotel where these chants would not be heard. Of course it woke up, but then we fell asleep again. In general - not annoying. We had breakfast on the terrace with an extraordinary view of the Bosphorus and the Sea of Marmara. The food is excellent: fruits (a lot), cheeses (also a lot), several types of bitters, sausages. Breakfast is very varied - for 3 days have never been repeated. Another advantage of the hotel is its location - everything is within a radius of 300 meters: Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Top Kapi Palace. In general, the hotel is excellent, and it will definitely not spoil your impressions of the city, but on the contrary. But let's move on to the most important thing - the city itself. We often travel and have been to many places, and I’ll say one thing for sure - we didn’t get such impressions in Rome, nor in Barcelona, nor in London. Istanbul is something! We arrived on Friday afternoon, looked around at the hotel, and since the program included a free day, we ran to the city at a run to watch. First, a chic park with fountains, beautifully trimmed shrubs and trees, magnificent flower beds and a wonderful view of Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, then wandered in the old city, and then circled the shopping streets. We returned to the hotel late in the evening, terribly tired, but happy like children after the fair & # 61514; On the second day after breakfast, we went with our guide on a sightseeing tour of Istanbul according to the program: 1000 and 1st night, then we looked at the Yeni Jami mosque and went to the boat. A walk along the Bosphorus is beautiful and futuristic. The realization that you are right between Europe and Asia, and along the banks of you there are ancient fortresses from the times of the Ottoman Empire, evokes awe. Then we climbed Editepe Hill, located in the Asian part of the city. This is one of the highest points in Istanbul (a wonderful and very picturesque view). After we were driven over a huge bridge and we ended up in another part of the city. We examined the Topkapi Palace Complex and the treasury - I won’t say it’s breathtaking, but some of the exhibits are certainly amazing. The embankment closer to the Topkapi Palace smoothly passes into the Ataturk Park. Next - Hippodrome, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are really very beautiful buildings. Hagia Sophia is considered one of the most beautiful and important buildings in world architecture, the former main temple of Constantinople. The Blue Mosque (in fact, it is called the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, the Blue Mosque was nicknamed by tourists) was built almost a thousand years later, it has 6 minarets, which at one time caused a scandal: no mosque should have more minarets than a mosque in Medina, which had 5 of them. Therefore, the mosques in Medina added a couple more. Sunday morning, we sincerely thought we had seen everything, but it was not at all  . As usual, after a hearty breakfast, we were met by a guide and we went to see the Patriarchate, the Mosaic Museum in the Chora Church and the Dolmabahce Palace. I won’t talk about them in detail - the information is in any guidebooks. I can only say one thing - it's better to see it once! On Sunday we flew home in the late afternoon. I felt tired - even for some 3 days and so much information, so many impressions....for 2 weeks of vacation and that has never happened so much, but it was worth it!! ! I want to say a huge thank you to the staff of Only Tour, for such a well-designed program, for such a wonderful hotel, for everything went clearly, without any overlays, and we just had to enjoy such a luxurious vacation!

The rooms are small, but during the day you run so much that you don’t pay attention to it. In a double room there was one double bed + a single bed, in a single room: two single beds. The rooms are new. Linen is excellent - changed daily, without reminders. Bathtub - sedentary, small of course. But you are planning to lie in the bathroom of a hotel room. There are disposable slippers, no bathrobes. The muezzin began his chants at 5:30 in the morning, but this did not prevent him from falling asleep again within 10 minutes. And you will not find a place in Istanbul where the morning prayer would not be heard. True, the audibility between the hotel rooms is increased (on one of the nights behind the wall at 4 o'clock in the morning, a dismantling of a Turkish couple began - they had to knock on the wall 5 times - otherwise you would not fall asleep). Breakfasts on the 6th floor of the hotel - on the terrace with an extraordinary view of the Bosphorus and the Sea of Marmara - are quite good: a lot of fruits, cheeses, sausages, 4 types of hot dishes, and every day something new. It may be only for very young children it will be difficult to pick up something, but this is a separate issue. . The location of the hotel is just super-successful: a tram stop is 20 steps from the hotel, within a radius of 500 m Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Top Kapi Palace. The staff did not please with friendliness and knowledge of the location of historical sights, but in general they could point the right direction. Sauna, hammam, gym - for extra money. Hamam with massage - 40 euros, entrance to the sauna - 10 euros. Getting to the hotel is quite simple: the metro starts right at the airport, drive 6 stops, exit the metro, cross the tram lines, take the T1 tram and take it for another 30 minutes to the Sultanahmet stop. In the tram, the names of the stops are visible on the electronic scoreboard - you can't go wrong. Getting off at the bus stop: in the opposite direction of the tram 10-15 steps and immediately turn left onto the street. Walk 400 meters - here you have the hotel "Lady Diana". I recommend the hotel - it will definitely not spoil the impressions of Istanbul. And we didn’t like the city at all: a dirty noisy ordinary market with theft, deceit and the need to bargain, knocking down the price by 3 times (how much effort and time you need to spend every time to buy things at their real value, and every time you have to smile and pretend that the bargaining process gives you extraordinary pleasure). What is only the Grand Bazaar worth ((( - streets of cheap unnecessary goods of terrible quality. Mosques inside do not amaze with luxury, only the time of their construction is impressive. so they press against all parts of the body, and brazenly examine - terribly unpleasant. Some kind of wildness. In general, the city doesn’t even “smell” of Europe. But maybe someone will like it...

Rooms need to be chosen with windows facing the courtyard, once we got a room with windows overlooking the roadway - it was impossible to sleep, Russian drunken tourists were yelling all night. The attendants who clean come across our Russian women. In 2 cases, small things were missing (a washcloth, a bottle of French perfumes). For those traveling for the first time, there is a hairdryer and slippers in the room, not everyone has bathrobes, the Internet in the lobby is included in the payment, and the bar in the room needs to be paid extra. It is customary to leave a tip in the morning: 1-2 Turkish lira.
A very significant plus for women: in this hotel, the shower is not bolted to the ceiling, which is not common in Istanbul.
I wish everyone to enjoy the beauty of Istanbul, have a nice trip.
