This is the end of our first day on the route "Embroidered Way". We spend this day in Mukachevo visiting our local coordinator Nadi.

And this sunny and even hot day began in Uzhgorod.

In Uzhhorod we were received by a very cool hostel on Pidgradska Street, 59. I haven't stayed in hostels for a long time, and in fact I was a little afraid to settle on the first day of our tour to the hostel. Usually in hostels a lot of people, noisy, difficult to sleep, and cleanliness is not always all right. But the guys pleasantly surprised me. "Hostel on Pidgradsky" is not only brand new, clean, quiet, but also very budget!

And this was our last vacation! Then intense hardcore awaited us!

We held a press conference at the Uzhhorod Press Club, where we met with journalists, and journalists got acquainted with the tour and us.

And after the meeting, our local coordinator Dana gave us a real shock - a quest through the streets of the city.

We not only needed to find encrypted places and statues, but also complete tasks. For example, we had to find 5 helpers near the Philharmonic building and dance the Macarena dance with them, find a steamer in the central square and compliment a passerby on each letter of its name, find a place of freedom and tell a fairy tale to the nearest child. and sing a French song against the backdrop of the local Eiffel Tower!

In general, as you understand, the task is not for the faint of heart!

=) As it turned out, it is not so easy to go beyond your comfort.

It was great and put us in the mood for the whole day!

By the way, I would like to note that I liked Uzhgorod, and I would be happy to come here for 2-3 days.

There are not only mimic figures all over the city, but also a children's railway, two castles, an open-air museum, its own jargon and cozy streets.

If you, like me before, did not know much about Uzhgorod, here are some interesting facts and top places to visit:

- In Uzhgorod, 25 mini-figures that live even in unexpected places around the city.

- Instead of shops and supermarkets, you will find ABC here - the so-called shops, and they are around the clock.

- Everyone loves Czech studentska chocolate. And although the price is not very student, it is really tasty, it also comes with different tastes.

- In Uzhgorod there are free city tours and they are held weekly.

To do this, go to the page https:// www. facebook

. com / OpenExcursionUzhgorod /? fref = ts and find out the date of the next tour.

- Here are some interesting words and phrases that will be incomprehensible to visitors: Job - good, well, Legin - boy, Girl-girl, Varosh - city

- Be sure to visit: Uzhhorod Castle, Nevytsky Castle, open-air museum near Uzhhorod Castle, lime alley, Roman Catholic Church, the main pedestrian street Corso, find all the figures, confectionery Stefan.

And from Uzhgorod we went to Mukachevo. 40 minutes on picturesque roads, UAH 29 and you are already in a very cozy and lovely town of Mukachevo.

Here we immediately fall into safe hands in the form of a guide - Maxim and coordinator - Nadia!

We climbed the bell tower of the cathedral and looked at the city from a height of 16 floors. Unfortunately, not every tourist has this option here, so we were happy to be VIP guests of this bell tower.

And although the rise was quite terrible, the chic look made up for everything.

We were led through the courtyards, streets, shown the Reformed Church with an ancient body, even led to the mayor's office and conference hall.

By the way, in Mukachevo we hid the certificate for 1 day on the route Embroidered way. And the photos should tell you where to look. Rather, until the other lucky ones pulled it.

We had dinner at the chic restaurant "Grafsky Dvir". We tasted bograch, sausages, cheeses and local beer. I haven't eaten so well for a long time! And after a delicious dinner, our day is not over. We went to the famous Palanok Castle, where Maxim had a wonderful theatrical tour of the night castle. I was even frightened several times as I climbed the dark stairs of the castle. That was cool!

But that's not all! We also had a late dinner at the authentic restaurant Transcarpathian Credence!

And although we could no longer stuff food, I could not enjoy the taste of salads.

«- And what is Palanok salad? »

"- It's like Olivier, only delicious! - a chic phrase to the hostess of the institution made our evening!

And on this hearty note, we have already gone to rest and gather strength before a new day on the road.

And here are some interesting facts about Mukachevo and places to visit:

- Symbols of Mukachevo are Saint Martin and the Sootblower.

- There are several legends about the name of the city. One of them is that the local population here are workers, and in Hungarian work - it's a munch. And in the Czech period they reworked it in their own way - munkachevo.

- Once the population of Mukachevo consisted of 48% Jews.

- The city was glorified by the famous artist Munkovich.

- There are also words: pose - look, asparagus - rope, mop - matches, lazevo - stairs, axle boxes - box.

- Must visit: Palanok Castle, Protestant Cathedral, Roman Catholic Cathedral, St. Nicholas Monastery, diorama on the hill, chimney sweep monument, two monuments to geese, town hall, "Wine Garden and wine tasting" .

Ahead is a new day, new impressions and emotions! Don't switch!
