We arrived in Buki from Uman by bus, which traveled 50 km for 2 hours. To avoid this "happiness", I recommend taking an early bus, which departs at 6:50 from Uman, and in an hour you are already in Buki. There are also direct buses from Kiev, Cherkasy and others. Then we were met by the coordinator Alexei, and spent the night at the tourist base "Butsky Canyon".

The base is very cool, houses in the German style. Alexei says that many times he heard people call Buki little Switzerland, so he decided to build something similar in himself.

The base offers an incredible landscape. The cost of living - 100-150 UAH per person per night, with available: barbecue, courtyard, warm shower and WiFi, of course)) And to the canyon on foot 5 min))

However, first we went to the neighboring village of Ivanky. We had a cool car and a cool driver)) It's no joke.

In Ivanki we visited the creative studio of Oleksandr Bartosik.

His workshop can be divided into 3 levels:

- hell (Shinok in the basement)

- earthly life (shop)

- and heaven (the workshop itself)

An interesting concept, the workshop was built in the old mill, and from such a good pond on the side.

Then we went to the park "Alexandria".

It is called "Little Sofiyivka".

Park with sculptures, bridges and gazebos broken on the lake near Ivankivka distillery in 2007 on the initiative of the director of the enterprise O. Velychko.

Brides like to be photographed here, local children bathe and swim dozens of white ducks.

There is a "Island of Love" and fountains. There is also a small chapel near the park, which is still open.

After us there was a tasting of home-made cheeses from Mr. Victor.

Cook the cheese yourself, buy milk from fellow villagers, and treat tourists, we liked it, especially in the evening under wine.

Then, returning, passed the wheat fields.

Climbed into a tank called "Stalin".

By the way, here they hid the travel certificate: inside under the back of the seat.

So don't miss your chance to fly to a wonderful city in Ukraine from the NGO "Embroidered Way"!

Returning to the base, our coordinator decided to leave us the best for tomorrow, so showing only a small part of the Butsky Canyon. But we were already impressed.

Next we spent the sunset and planned to fry kebabs.

The further the project, the more I want to live in the village and have my own backyard, where I can grill kebabs and sausages when I want, and watch the stars and how the sun rises and sets.

That's how our first day in Buki went. Tomorrow we were promised an unforgettable tour of the canyon. I can't wait!
