About boundless joy and epic finale!
This day we have been waiting for the last 3 weeks! Every day we looked at the calendar and thought how far this day is, how many hours and moments ahead of it. And here he came: suddenly, quickly and also rushed headlong. Of course, this is about the last, 24th day of our epic trip to the Embroidered Way Tour!
And so for some reason always - at the very beginning of the path you estimate the scale and think that the end is not visible, and then weeks pass by one day, days flip through the calendar, and hours without stopping, take you to the finals. And here you are standing before the final limit and somewhere in your soul you feel that you do not want to cross this limit.
Our life is not a movement from goal to goal, but those meaningful moments during the movement to goals!
No matter how difficult it was on this trip, no matter how tired and emotionally devastated we were, it was a little sad to accept its end! Okay, enough sentimentality!
Today we had a grand bike race in Kyiv. Our team moved from the metro station Heroes of the Dnieper, and the team of Sergei and Christina from the metro station ENEA and we met according to plan on the Maidan!
And even the last day was not easy for us. Today the sun is merciless!
Anyone could take part in the bike race. Those who have their big ones could drive their two-wheeled horse for a bike ride, those who didn't have one could rent a big one. Children from Veliki. ua at the starting points rented large, and on the Maidan they were taken away.
And it was very convenient and cool!
I also chose a faithful friend.
Our bike ride was not just a trip to Kyiv, but a bike ride. We drove through the streets of Kiev, stopping at interesting places, taking photos.
About 30 people gathered for our arrival. And what was cool, we were accompanied by representatives of SoilCares, guys from the Netherlands. And these guys definitely know each other on bike rides!
In order for our race to be not just a chaotic ride, but a meaningful and safe arrival, our column was accompanied by representatives of the Kyiv Cyclists' Association ( http:// avk. org ua / ) and patrol car.
After a short instruction and an excursion to our route, we moved towards the finals with all our friendly column.
It was cool and quiet to go at first. It is a pleasure to ride on the Obolon embankment!
We stopped near interesting objects and Maxim - the representative of AVK, told the facts, paid attention to monuments, houses!
But after Obolon, hell has already begun! The heat of the day, the sun at the zenith is mercilessly burning, there are almost no bike paths and we have to flow into the main arteries of the city.
But we all easily overcame the slide that leads to the Philharmonic in European Square. That's where our many guys ended up. Me too! The lack of cycling practice is evident. It was very difficult to turn the pedals up the hill, and the breath catches, sweat rolls - this elevation was the main obstacle.
But Khreshchatyk and Maidan are already visible.
As soon as we arrived, we saw the second column moving from the ENEA to the Maidan!
And here it is - a solemn moment of meeting bloggers! We haven't seen each other since June 3 since the start of our project.
It was very interesting to know the details of the trip, the impressions of the second team. And I wanted to share my own!
But it's not time yet. It's time to go to the impromptu scene. Here we are waiting for the press, organizers, cyclists, presenter.
It's time to declare our media project "Embroidered Tour" closed!
Our organizers have prepared gifts for all participants from our sponsors and friends.
We, of course, shared our impressions, asked interesting and a bit tricky questions and those who followed our trip, easily answered them and received great prizes!
Everything flew by very quickly and now we are taking the final photo together and saying goodbye with tears!
It was easy… wait-wait, in vain!
I would like to say a big thank you to our organizers: Anatoliy Tsyrkun, Kateryna Ganus, Iryna Okolovych, Iryna Bishko, who implemented such a cool idea, to all our volunteer coordinators who showed the coolest, tastiest and funniest in their cities and villages. we were received, fed, watered, transported and humble to us: Serhiy Nagirny, Serhiy Chekmarev, Kristina Zhuk and me - Irina Zhuravel! =) We did it!
I am sure we will remember this route and these crazy days more than once, and all our impressions, photos and videos will motivate people to travel to Ukraine, discover its unknown and cool places!

Embroidered Way Tour is an amazing trip to the coolest places of the Embroidered Way route, which is carried out by four popular Ukrainian travelers during June 5-28.2017 .
The purpose of the event is to reveal the tourist potential, diversity and beauty of Ukraine, to symbolically unite the western and eastern regions, to promote the development of rural areas, to promote active recreation and a healthy lifestyle.
