Something did not see the end of quarantine, and tourist visa-free travel was suddenly threatened with abolition altogether due to our non-judicial system and the government's course. That is why traveling to Ukraine is one of the few available options to somehow dissipate, reboot, escape from panic speech from the TV box. I doubted whether it would be worth exhibiting my work here in Ukraine, but I see that people are very little informed about what and where to visit, and when traveling alone, they often miss worthy places along the route. You don't need to look for any "magnets" in our country, we already have EVERYTHING! That is, there is something to look at and something to admire. I will not describe all the details in detail (Google for help), I will not burden my travels and impressions. In my story there will be only threads of routes, specific objects, maps-schemes - all for car travelers.

I did not take into account the parks - there are a lot of them, so you can safely add at least three more months to their passage (walks only on the most famous trails took me a month, and how many low-income people…). That's all I have to see in our country.

The richest tourist routes were: Transcarpathian (19 days), Ivano-Frankivsk (18 days), Lviv and Lviv (16 days), Kyiv and Kyiv (12 days), Odesa and Odesa (11 days), Cherkasy (9 days), Kherson (8 days), Chernihiv (8 days), Ternopil (8 days), Poltava (7 days) regions. In these areas, you can already drive and visit unique places on these routes, although some access roads are terrible (especially in Cherkasy and Ternopil regions).

In other areas, things are much worse with both roads and infrastructure, but there are no less interesting sights worth seeing.

But roads and service are not the only obstacles to domestic tourism.

According to my observations, in order to promote travel in Ukraine and tourism development, first of all it is necessary:

1) Internet promotion - each object must have a relevant and active page on a social network or website (you will be surprised, but not all of them have), with contacts, schedule, prices, etc . ; most importantly - on all pages to indicate CONTACTS, GPS-points! ! ! ! !

2) Roads, especially radial sections-entrances to objects, billboards on central roads before the exit to unique objects, arrows-signs in the settlements themselves.

3) Infrastructure - basic necessities: sanitary facilities, parking, cafes / places to eat, urns, garbage collection and disposal, water supply / springs, and especially sewerage / eco-septic tanks.

4) Regular (not once a year! )

) eco-actions to clean the nearest areas from landfills, both by locals (forcibly they primarily pollute the area, cleaning the area once - will no longer throw garbage), and tourists-volunteers. Consumables and garbage collection - at the expense of a fixed% of incoming tickets.

5) Transparent for all prices for services and payment for all these services through fiscal fixed or portable cash registers / applications in laptops, phones, etc. , including early online booking with payment and check (especially for natural facilities, entrance / entrance to the territory of national parks, reserves, tourist camps, payment for which usually settles in the pockets of foresters).

In Europe, even at fairs from other countries, traders come with portable cash registers or a laptop + printer, and it's on the street sales!

And our people are only able to organize rallies against the spacecraft, used to work with black accounting and with salaries in envelopes. Why go into business if you can't make money at the cash register and pay a white salary? And let's not complain about taxes, utilities, rent - in Europe they are much higher, and prices in relation to the costs there are lower. I do not know any acquaintance in Ukraine who would go bankrupt (unless he had drunk or lost everything), on the contrary - a banal grocery store brings the owner a car in a year, an apartment in 5 years! This is all largely due to non-payment of taxes, cheap slave. force disproportionate to inflated prices .

6) Mandatory categorization and certification of accommodation facilities, no private individuals in hotels with more than 10 rooms, only jur. persons and payment through spacecraft, fiscal checks.

It has become the norm to register mini-hotels with up to 10 rooms, while the remaining 100 rooms are in a state of "perpetual renovation", but are safely occupied in all rooms and near the box office, without taxes and tour . collection. Permits to operate the hotel - only after the commissioning of the entire number of rooms (according to technical passports) and obtaining a category and certificate. You do not know how to fill and work at a loss - leave the market or buy a smaller object, give way to more creative and creative hoteliers. First, develop a business plan and determine the target audience, think of a marketing strategy, the subject of the institution, find your niche, different from others, and only then take up the hotel business - without it you will burn out. And so, in hotels profitability will be only at year-round cyclical occupancy at average market prices.

One-time arrivals and seasonality less than 9 months.

- The way to nowhere is the eternal turnover of staff, the need to save on quality, overpricing, which leads to degradation and bankruptcy.

7) Introduction of severe huge fines for pollution of the territory, reservoirs (especially mountain lakes, in which it is FORBIDDEN to swim! ), smoking, spontaneous parking and landfills, vandalism on routes not only for tourists but also for locals.

8) Eco-tourism patrols (including horse / bicycle / quadro), appendix forestry control (additional vacancies).

9) Equipment of tourist parking lots, campsites on the territory of NPF facilities (tables, canopies, urns, hearth-hearth, spring / water, toilets, especially in forests - ordinary wooden, in mountain shelters - peat, on the beaches - bio (bacteria) / peat), in campsites and camps - stationary with running water)), approved catalog of such parking lots, paid bivouac by check; mountain / sports multi-day hikes only after registration with the KSS and payment of all official parking in advance (on the principle of "shelters" / "shelters" in Europe), with a ban on setting up camp outside the office. parking.

10) Reconstruction, at least minimal cosmetic repairs of basic necessities (roof, windows, foundation, facade, temperature in museums and storage facilities) or conservation for the future of unique, dilapidated objects.

It is especially worthwhile to start preserving the following castles: Nevytskyi, Serednyanskyi, Khustskyi, Dovgaev, Kankiv, Starosilskyi, Starokostiantynivskyi, Klevanskyi, Ostrohskyi, Popova, Pnivskyi, castles of Ternopil region, Tarakaniv fort - otherwise we risk losing them. And in the following estates it is necessary to create thematic museum-park entertainment complexes with the developed various infrastructure which will be pearls of the region: Bilokrynytsia and Vyshnivets in Ternopil region; Dakhovsky and Shuvalov in Cherkasy region (transfer to the Ministry of Culture); Rumyantsev and Lyzogubiv in Chernihiv region (to restore Kachanivka and Sokyrynka); Zakrevsky and Ant-Apostles in Poltava region; Samchyky and Maliivtsi, Khmelnytsky region ; Dubetskoho-Pankeyevykh and Kurisove, Odesa region ; Pervukhinka, Stary Merchyk and Sharivka in the Kharkiv region; Obroshyne, Gredeliv, Brunytskykh, Count Badeni, Lviv region.

And these will not be single objects, but recreation centers near interesting and visited places, ie the flow of tourists there is already there, which guarantees the profitability of projects. It is urgent to equip storage facilities in the museums of Odessa, so as not to lose unique exhibits. Today, even the legendary Pidhirtsi Castle cannot be restored, the work seems to have started, but the results are not visible, it is too long. Such projects need to be done thoroughly and comprehensively, without stretching funding for decades, otherwise it makes no sense.

11) Finally, it is necessary to release architectural monuments from such institutions as: children's schools, boarding schools, camps, tuberculosis dispensaries, mental hospitals. hospital, admin.

25 of the routes I have written can be considered truly "Golden", they include the most visited and sought after by tourists, have the most developed tourist infrastructure, valuable in historical, natural or ethnic terms, are the calling cards of the country. Many travel agencies offer tours of these routes in one interpretation or another, often limited to visiting only 2-3 of the most popular and visited places for 1 day. But we must understand that a tourist will not go from the East of Ukraine to the West (or vice versa) for one day on a weekend tour for two places, even unique ones. Routes should consist of at least 2-3 full excursion days, so that the time on the way from home to the destination and back does not exceed the time for the excursion, ie.

to spend 2 days by train / bus for 1 day on excursions (usually the second half of the day is Saturday and the first is Sunday) - IS NOT REASONABLE, such tours do not attract the attention of customers. Tourists will also not enjoy one-day excursions with more than 6 hours on the road and less than 5 hours at the sites (1-day excursions are relevant only for tourists from the region, radius up to 150 km). That's why I present the most complete routes in each region, with the most interesting objects near already known places, with mountain trails, peaks and nat. parks I do not touch (except Hoverla and cable cars). I indicate in bold the places that are carried by almost all travel agencies / tour bureaus of Ukraine, ie standard and popular classics, the same for everyone (expect a large concentration of tourists there in high season / dates).

By the way, in each area you can relax for a week or more, but I have prescribed routes only to the most unique places and objects, not including ordinary monuments, temples, local history museums, squares, shopping malls, quest rooms and more. At the same time, enough time is allotted for visiting the included objects, so that it was not a "gallop", but according to the academic hour of excursions (30 minutes to the temple; 40 minutes to the museum; 1 hour and 20 minutes to the large museum / palace / castle). complex, open-air museum, botanical garden, monastery, farm / winery with tasting, 3-4 hours for dendoparks, historical km / hour for descent). But every day is very busy, 4-6 small objects / day, 2-3 large, from 7.00 to 20.00. All routes are designed for travel by your own / rented car, more comfortable for a family or a small group of up to 15 people.

Accommodation was chosen according to the principles: either colorful (you don't have to live there, you can walk around the area, visit a restaurant / spa / activities - many in Zakarpattia and Lviv regions), or the largest in the city, or the best in reviews, or the only one in the district - in each region differently. For example, in the Cherkasy region (routes №15 and №20) mostly Green Tourism Homes and small hotels, she noted everything there is, because there is no place to stay. The main roads have been repaired, including the previously horrible Vorokhta-Verkhovyna section, and the radial entrances have not (where does the money for the Hoverla checkpoint go ??? ). As for hiking: be sure to take local guides, do not underestimate the mountains, they do not forgive mistakes and negligence. But if you are a guru in orienteering, you still remember the basic rule of a mountain tourist: if you do not have time to climb to the top before 13.00 (November-January - until 12.00), you need to postpone the climb for today and go back to catch light. / before the weather worsens to go down. I don't particularly understand those who start in the afternoon - are you normal? ? All ascents must be made before noon! ! ! !!

If there is a thunderstorm in the morning - plan an alternative vacation instead of mountains, the good in the Carpathians is something to do besides climbing, in multi-day hikes be sure to plan days and spare days.

In Western and Southern Ukraine there is a great shortage of waste processing plants, and even incinerators (do not be afraid of them ! , in Poland most of these plants, and in Austria and Denmark such plants operate in the city center, it all depends on cleaning technology), solid natural landfills. What is the point of sorting garbage (starting from the end), if no one and nowhere to take it out, or all taken out to one common landfill? ? ? As a result - pollution of rivers, lakes, groundwater. And this problem is more serious than bad roads.
Before looking for some "magnets" in tourism (this could be said only by those whose knowledge in the field of tourism is limited to magnets on the refrigerator), build roads for transit trucks (without controlling their weight, and without paying for new routes) ), learn English in a row - you must first bring ORDER AND CLEANLINESS in the country :
1) Clean up landfills, build garbage disposal plants (this is the raw material base and jobs for centuries, unlike sawmills and mines), and the plants must have a 50% state share to control and prevent private monopoly with cheating prices and garbage collapse.
