Katsiveli review
Rest end of July - beginning of August 2012. We specially went to Katsiveli, two families with children 7.5, 4 years old, chose a house from the pictures, paid an advance payment for the reservation, received assurances by phone about the cleanliness and proximity of the beaches (with a calm step of 15 minutes: 0 )!!! ooooooaaaa), air, awesome nature + pine park (4 shabby pine trees with a bunch of vacationers sleeping under them from the sanatorium House of Creativity and sellers of all sorts of nonsense. . Do not believe it, there is no park there !!! ), the presence of a complete infrastructure (one cafe, one store, such as a silpo with one seller, tents with vegetables, queues for a store, no pharmacy), etc. , etc. with a rather long broken-down embankment, indented by 25 breakwaters and what is between them is called beaches there. Embankment without restrictions by handrails, they were stupidly cut off, the height is pretty decent from the edge of the embankment to the bottom, and at the bottom there are boulders. The gaps themselves, you can’t call them beaches, are solid stones, you can’t swim !!! ! In total, we found 5 beaches (2 of which are DTU) that are more or less suitable for swimming - large pebbles, interspersed with cobblestones, go only in shoes), more less clean sea, a crowd of people, toilet clear into the water. . . Housing prices in the private sector are too high (for some reason they imagine they are Foros or some other well-known town !! ), unfortunately the owners are not responsible for their words - the principle of the owner is to sell housing, cut down the prepayment for the entire term, and then frost. Three days later, the children refused to climb from the beach along the !! ! "path of the House of Scientists' Creativity" ! ! (accompanied by the stench of a canteen with DTU, in my opinion they always fed borscht there three times a day), as the hostess said with a slope of 20-30 degrees, so 700 meters only from the embankment to the house. Adults are also VERY quickly tired of this vacation, bouncing to the beach 30 minutes from the hill, 1.5 km from the beach, up, an hour at least. Somehow they said goodbye to a very dissatisfied hostess (did I describe everything to you ?! ), taking an advance payment for the entire vacation, leaving penalty 100ue, crossed themselves and left for Foros, another movie was already waiting here. In short, you should not go to Katsiveli with children, and definitely without. . . There is nothing in Katsiveli that can attract (although I am writing about the place where DTU is located, this area of Katsiveli is considered very clean), and do not believe the tales of silence, cleanliness, super beaches and parks, infrastructure. . True, sometimes you can be sure only by getting there. .
