For the May holidays, my husband and I (as well as half of Ukraine, as well as large groups from Poland and Russia) decided to spend at festivals in Kamenets-Podolsky and Khotyn. The decision was spontaneous; tried to book rooms in advance, but in decent hotels everything was booked. We decided to find a place to live. On April 30, we left Nikolaev and, having passed half of Ukraine, arrived in Kamenets by 16-00. In it, as in Khotyn, there was no longer a single place! It's not evening yet - we decided to go to Chernivtsi. It turned out that we were not the only ones so smart - all the hotels in the center of Chernivtsi were occupied. By 19-00, our questions about the hotel room were openly laughed at! Evening! The mood is spoiled! And then the GPS led us to the hotel "Cheremosh". There were free rooms and we happily ran to register. Entrance, hall and reception in "Cheremosh" are simply gorgeous. The first thing that alerted me was that when the husband paid for the room for two days, the reception workers actively persuaded him to pay by the day, the second - hot water in the hotel according to the schedule from 22-00 to 23-00, the third - the elevator did not work, and we trudged to the sixth floor, meeting people with terribly sad faces. The room, as we suspected, was old and shabby, but we were glad that we would not have to spend the night in the car, so we dropped our bags and went to survey the surroundings. Everything seemed to be nothing, but when we returned to the room it turned out that hot water was a cool summer shower, the sink was clogged, and there was no soundproofing at all (there was a party somewhere in the hotel all night). But that's still nothing. Most importantly, more than one person slept on our bed before us!! ! To say that she was stale is an understatement! The maids were no longer there, so I had to sleep dressed in a sitting position. In the morning we decided that it would be better to sleep in the car than in the Cheremosh. Fortunately, in the morning we found a normal hotel ("Kaiser") and moved there.
Conclusion: you can stay in Cheremosh only if the night is outside in the alternative!
