Nature is good...everything else was a nightmare!

What can I say, to say that they were horrified is to say nothing.
We rested in the "Carnival" several times, but a few years ago we were very pleased with everything. Therefore, we absolutely calmly decided to go there this time. And it was a complete disappointment!
We rented a cottage for 1390 UAH/day. To the house it was necessary to climb a cascading staircase lined with stone, well, as laid out... it fell off a long time ago and just lay on this staircase. But that was our least disappointment. Our cottage had a veranda, but the furniture for the veranda had to be paid separately (a table 60 UAH/day and 2 chairs also 60 UAH/day). In front of our house there was a large beautiful clearing with trees and mowed grass. But going up to the house, we saw a house completely not ready for arrival. Near the house there were 2 tables and chairs from the previous tenants, on which there were a bunch of bottles, disposable cups and other garbage. All this was lying around in a beautiful clearing in front of the house, the whole veranda was spitted with seeds, some kind of log was lying on the veranda and a huge bag of garbage was standing right under the porch. Because it was a day off and there were a lot of people, we decided that the house had been removed, but the territory had simply not been done yet. Reacted to this calmly, tk. we were going to immediately go for a walk and thought that by our return all this would be removed.

But going into the house. . . it was a total disaster. The lighting in the cabin was terrible, but even that didn't hide the money we had thrown away. My biggest shock was when I opened the toilet and saw in it traces of the feces of the previous tenants, frankly, it was filthy. Which gives me reason to say that the maid didn't even look in there. I didn’t take a photo of the toilet bowl... it was beyond my strength, sorry. ) But I captured everything else. There was terrible mud in the house, cobwebs and corpses of various forest animals all around.
In short, dirt and unsanitary conditions. . . torn bedspreads and a sofa. But there were 5 sheets of instructions for using the hotel and an envelope for thanking the maid, which in itself looked like a mockery after what he saw.
But most of all I was struck by the TOWELS! To describe them, I will even highlight a separate paragraph!
For your understanding, these are fresh, only unwrapped towels that were for our use, with terrible stains. Of course, you will forgive me, I don’t even want to imagine what origin these spots are, but giving this to people is simply unacceptable in hotels of any star rating and any pricing policy !!!
We stopped by for a day, so we didn’t want to swear and spoil our only weekend with a scandal. We decided that we would hold out for a day with wet wipes, paper towels and our own bedding, which, thank St. Francis, turned out to be in our suitcase from a previous trip. We were still going to stay in the house for only a minimum of time. So we were more interested in our dirty porch and table.
In general, we decided to go for a walk to the Donets, in order to calm down a little after what we saw, on the way we went to the reception and asked to clean up the veranda near the house. We were promised that everything would be done. It was about 15:00, we returned from a walk around 18:00... and what was our surprise that all they did near our house was that they unloaded all the garbage from two tables onto one, took the clean table, and the filthy one (for the rent of which, I remind you, we paid money) was left to us, all with the same garbage near the porch and the spit-stained veranda and the scorched full of garbage. Here my patience has already burst, and I called the reception with a request to send a maid. I wish I hadn't, apparently.

The maid came and said that she would only clean the veranda, and all the garbage that was lying around the house, on the table and the smelly bag of garbage under our porch was not her responsibility, and that we should call the people who are responsible for the tables and the territory. I asked her to call these people who were supposed to do this, because I do not know their hierarchy. She removed the lumps from under the seeds from the veranda, washed it... and said that she would clean it around the house and on the table anyway. I want to clarify that we were not rude, but simply asked politely and were grateful to her... and the girl was very friendly and sweet. She picked up all the rubbish, and then she took the floor cloth she used to clean our spitting porch outside.... and wiped our TABLE with it. . . The table, Carl, the dining table. . . with the floor cloth. . . the table we paid for money and were going to sit behind him and EAT.
So that you understand, from what we saw, we were so taken aback by my husband that we simply lost the power of speech. We didn't ask for anything more. In order to sit at this table, we then scalded it with boiling water for another half an evening, washed it with soap and poured all the hand sanitizer we had on it, but our hand did not rise to eat at it.
We went with the desire to stay for another day / two, but in the end we ran home from there headlong in the morning. ((((
If it were not for the nature and the view from our veranda, for which, in fact, we wanted to escape from the city, then we would have left on the same day. And so we walked through the forest and sat on the veranda, which brightened up our impression a little.
As for the pool on the territory, I can’t say anything, we didn’t swim in it, because. the number of people per square meter just rolled over.
Regarding food, once in the restaurant "Venice" we had a corporate party and everything was at the highest restaurant level. This time, a complete disappointment awaited us there too, upon arrival we went there for lunch and instead of pasta Carbonara, they brought us just spaghetti sprinkled with dill, cheese and several pieces of fatty bacon with a meat cut... it was not tasty. In the future, we went to eat at "Drunk Hut".
To summarize, I do not intend to somehow belittle this hotel complex with this review. On the contrary, I want him to reach out to the management and take the necessary measures to eliminate these shortcomings. After all, it is not at all difficult to wash the curtains, repair the stairs on the territory and sew up the torn bedspreads. And it’s good to clean rooms, so this should generally be the norm for hotel complexes of any star rating and price.

I remember "Carnival" differently, and this makes it doubly painful and offensive to see what it has become. There used to be perfectly white and starched crispy towels and bedding. . . perfectly cleaned rooms and a delicious restaurant and bar.
I wish "Carnival", like a phoenix, to be reborn from the ashes. He has all the prerequisites for this, and especially the place in which he is located... because it is simply magical.
