We got lucky with the weather,

It's raining for the fourth day,

Although they said on the radio -

Even the shadow will be hot

(V. Tsoi)

Well, we have summer this year! Like Khazanov's - it's raining in the village of Gadyukino! Yes, not just rain, but some kind of tropical downpours with tropical thunderstorms. A week ago there was such a thunderstorm that I only saw the like in Sri Lanka! And if there is no rain, then a strong wind blows, However, one does not interfere with the other, and both of these phenomena, very unloved by me, may well occur simultaneously. In addition to the weather, of course, one cannot ignore the complicated situation. Compared to last year http://www.turpravda.ua/ua/mariupol/blog-100346.html things got a little sadder. Passports are now checked at the checkpoint, and not only for men. Both at the exit and at the entrance there is an interesting sign, from which it follows that we are entering a prohibited zone (it turns out that we leave one and enter the other : )))) and demand to turn off the headlights, but turn on the lights in the cabin. That is, as you understand, you will have to go absolutely blind. This is irrelevant to us, because we do not drive at night. But friends, returning one day rather late from the dacha, almost got stuck in anti-tank hedgehogs. In addition, there is still a danger of getting stuck in a traffic jam if you go at the wrong time, since many Mariupol residents are not much afraid of any checkpoints, and anyway everyone goes to the sea, they need to relax somehow. However, we were somehow lucky so far, and we slipped through the checkpoint in a draft. But all the same friends got into a kilometer traffic jam.

Those who overcome the first obstacle on the way to the coveted sea will face the next test - an obstacle course in the form of a landslide on the track. The road crawled before, but at least somehow they tried to make it. This year, no one cares about such a trifle. You can go around the vegetable gardens, making a small detour of a couple of kilometers, which we have done the last couple of times, because recently there has been a sign “bypass”, and there may well be sellers of striped sticks. However, many people travel directly, but the bus is no longer able to overcome this obstacle, therefore (and maybe not only because of this) it only goes to the upper village. Accordingly, to the sea there....far, in general, to the sea.

So, traditionally, we opened the season in mid-May, but not later than the 20th, but this year, the mistral was just sick, and we made the first trip to the sea only on the long weekend that falls on Trinity . Saturday passed in the traditional cleaning of the beach and the territory of the base. And the mosquitoes seemed to be just waiting for us, gnawed to the bone, bastards! And on Sunday morning four friends arrived early. And we immediately sat down to "breakfast". A nasty friend shattered my favorite glass of "Krushovice", which was presented to me at the brewery of the same name in the Czech Republic. Well, at the same time saperavi poured over. And it is, as you know, red. Accordingly, it was problematic to wash a white T-shirt. She changed into a yellow sweatshirt. Remember that this is our tradition. Once upon a time, a sweetheart washed the floor in the kitchen in Yalta with Novy Svet champagne. Another time, I already distinguished myself - I smashed a Martini on the porch in a house here on Kos. All the bees and wasps flocked from the area.

Then we went on a boat to catch gobies. But we only stayed 45 minutes because it started to rain. We barely had time to row ashore, when a real downpour began. We hid under the roof and continued "breakfast". And they continued with Marengo champagne - they bought it for the first time to try it. That's disgusting! A sweet carbonated burda that has nothing to do with either Marengo or champagne. Never buy! With grief, they finished off in half and continued again red. This time the second friend poured herself, pouring at the same time once again on the yellow blouse of the first. And I went to fry the gobies. And the girls went to the store because it was over. My favorite thing about bulls is liver. Therefore, I can clean a ton to get as much of this delicacy as possible. But I put only bulls on the table, and squeezed the liver, despite the muttering of friend number two. I can handle it myself! I am ready to sell my homeland for a liver! Well, then I found myself sleeping on the beach, but for some reason not in a bathing suit, but in shorts and a T-shirt. It surprised me a little, but nothing more - it happened anyway. Friends had already left by then.

The next day, they began to prepare to leave. Can't find my shorts! Rummaged through the whole house - no! I called a friend, maybe they rowed along with their clothes? She says she didn't see it. A couple of minutes later, her husband calls back, who was the only one who didn’t drink at all yesterday, because he was a driver. It was he who opened my eyes to the full depth of my fall! In short, as it turned out, I was the third one who spilled wine. After that, I took off my shorts and went to wash them in the sea, but, apparently, I didn’t do it very well, because I threw them crazy on a stone on the shore and proudly retired to sleep on the rug, although, it seems, until She was going to show her new swimsuit to the guests. Curtain!

Shorts dear then found on the shore in the form of some shapeless rag, completely wet and in the sand. Walked, in short!

But this is a lyric. War, weather and the lack of a bus are the three main reasons for the almost complete absence of people in Melekino, which we discovered when we took a hike along the beach to the market on the 2nd descent on one of our visits. The picture was sad. There was no market, as such, there were several shops, only one cafe with home cooking, and an uncle sat dejectedly with a sign about renting housing. Large recreation centers were practically empty. Previously, buses came here not only from Mariupol, but also from many cities of the Donetsk region, and it was quite difficult to find accommodation for the weekend. In general, local businessmen are now in flight. However, last summer they had, I think, two years ahead. The full house was full!

But not everyone is doing poorly, our neighbors managed to find a large group of guests somewhere. Arriving at the base, we listened to the complaints of an elderly woman about loud music, bubbling almost all night. Well, I think we'll sleep tonight! But after drinking 2-3 mojitos (or 3-4? ) at lunch, and cognac for dinner, and lulled by the rain again, I fell asleep quite early.

Life has become a day shorter.

No beer - good night!

When I woke up at dawn, obeying the call of nature, my first thought was: “What a great sleep I had! There were no mosquitoes, no music! The beauty! At breakfast, my dear complained to me that mosquitoes gnawed at him at night, and the music also pestered. Strange! Apparently, we spent the night in different places.

On our last visit, we decided to take a traditional hike to the edge of the spit. But, unlike last year, the military really settled there, and the passage is prohibited. So, having reached the last buildings, we saw a sign on the beach with a corresponding warning. There was nothing left but to swim and go back. On the way they found a dead dolphin with a wound in the head. And when we went there, he wasn't there yet. I wanted to take a picture, but my dear forbade it. I haven't seen them in a while! However, I have never seen live Azov dolphins, unlike the Black Sea ones.

For the sake of interest, we turned off the beach deep into the "civilization" to see what is being done at the local market. Unlike Melekinsky, the bus goes to the Belosarayskaya Spit (on a different road). Therefore, it was somewhat more fun here than in Melekino. We even found a working 7D cinema and a Ferris wheel! Yes, we haven't been here for a long time! Over the past few years, we have walked exclusively along the beach. The wheel didn't turn. But we got closer to take a closer look anyway, and the guy from the booth told us that they were open from 18.00. But if we want, he will run it right now (it was 2 o'clock in the afternoon). Of course we wanted to. In vain, have we gone through so much? Having paid 20 UAH. climbed into the booth and began to take pictures of everything. Nothing spectacular, but still! One time is possible. However, the guy allowed us to ride as much as we like. But to take pictures, one circle was enough for us. Another couple arrived. Well, we decided to do, nevertheless, one more control circle. For free!

After riding, we went to see what the local market offers. We chose two large fat rams for 12 UAH / pc. After the rise in price, which also affected local fish, I try to buy smaller and cheaper rams at home. But we're on vacation! We walk! It was time to wet the neck. But, since, for almost a year now, for ideological reasons, I have not been drinking beer, my dear bought it for himself, and for me kvass - both draft (10 and 8 UAH, respectively). And I also saw (oh miracle! ) salted red mullet! Since I never ate it in Yalta, I immediately demanded that they buy it for me (10 UAH / piece). And for himself, dear, he took a dozen dried gobies (20 UAH / dess). So what? I did not like the red mullet! Perhaps fried, it is just a bomb, but the wrong salting can ruin any fish! Apparently, this is what happened to this unfortunate fish. It was, although not overdried, but fairly oversalted, and the taste of the fish was indistinguishable. On the other hand, if you do not salt it well, the fish can simply stink during transportation. And the kvass was also disgusting - although it was draft, it was very reminiscent of a brew of plastic bottles. And the ram was great! I haven't eaten this in a long time!

We walked back and were glad that we didn't have to jump over the seals' heads. There were a very comfortable number of people - just enough to not feel very lonely.

We're used to going to bed early, but we haven't swum in the moon path for a hundred years, and since the full moon was just a couple of days ago, it should be quite wide. Having hardly waited for the moon to rise at about ten in the evening, they performed the ritual that was once familiar to us. And by the way, there were no mosquitoes. Most likely due to the wind. Then I tried to shoot the moon along with the path on the tablet, but, unfortunately, I didn’t succeed and, offended, went to bed.

In the morning, according to the forecast, there was no wind, and we were going fishing. But, opening one eye at dawn and making sure that the weather forecasters, as always shamelessly lying, allowed herself another hour or two of blissful slumber.

And the weather was, not only not for fishing, it was nowhere at all! I hate the wind! It seems to be not cold, but you don’t want to swim at all! As for me, ice water is better, but calm. But for all kinds of surfers - the most it! Some of my friends are into kite surfing. But pleasure is not cheap. Attachments to it are cooler than ski equipment. Let's not pull!

After taking a picture of the raging sea, and taking a quick dip for decency, we went to the dacha. There is no such wind. For half a minute the checkpoint guard thoughtfully examined our trunk, stuffed with bags of garbage collected on the beach, but did not rummage. It was Sunday, about two o'clock in the afternoon. There were practically no cars in the direction of the city, but in the direction of the sea there was a queue of about twenty cars. Weird! What is there already to do at this time and in such weather? Here I am writing now and I hope that next weekend the HEAT will finally begin, otherwise it is everywhere, but it rumbles again here, and since I did not take an umbrella with me, therefore, it will certainly rain.

Well, what do I want to tell you? If you are bad with finances, but everything is in order with karma, if you like deserted beaches and white sand, theoretically you can go. By the way, trains are already running, thank God.

A relative from Riga today wrote that his daughter, who works as a radio presenter, has now flown on a business trip to a "hot spot" - to Athens, and from there to Corfu. Her father asked her: “Well, how do you like Corfu? ” To which she replied: “It feels like I'm in Melekino! Everything is very similar, at every step there are some tents, souvenirs, pasties. So, you can not go to Japan, but enjoy the cherry blossoms in Uzhgorod, and you can also not go to Corfu, but eat chebureks in Melekino : )))). In short, you can find everything much closer and cheaper!
