The warmest sea
I am afraid that this will not be an impression of a holiday, because during the summer I traveled to the resort villages of Melekino (10 km from Mariupol), Yalta, Yurievka (20-30 km), Urzuf (45 km) on business. But I looked at them as a possible vacationer and is ready to talk about how they look and what kind of vacation these developing resorts offer.
There is no doubt that they have a future. In the region of Melekino, Urzuf and Yurievka, the sea is magnificent, the beaches are sandy. For families with children (if you do not go to give it your all on vacation) - a great place to relax. The water is very warm and healing. When my children were small, I took them to Azov without fail - I treated them with sea baths for allergies. Cured! Everything is forgotten forever! And in general, a lot can be treated here. Here is Yalta. Vacationers sometimes do not like the sea: there are areas of mud. I am shocked: to go somewhere to some (relatively speaking) Dead Sea, to pay big money in order to get smeared with mud there for big money! And not to see the gold under your own feet, which is offered to you for pennies! Here the dirt contains 92 elements of the periodic table! There is a special conclusion, by the way, from the Odessa Institute of Balneology, in the name I’m not exactly sure that they are a huge jewel in medical terms. So local mud is also a treatment for osteochondrosis, and arthritis, and other bone and many others, including gynecological and skin diseases.
Well, of course, if vacationers need the sea to be blue-azure, restaurants only expensive, and celebrities roaming the streets - you won’t find this here. The sea is yellowish in color (shallow and special composition of water), public catering is more or less developed, but not an elite state, but celebrities... However, what am I! Do you know Satisfaction? So Benny Benassi personally held discos in Melekino! Not khuhry-mukhry! And in Yalta on Greek Square (beautiful-a-a-ya... ) Angelica Agurbash and a whole crowd of different singers have already performed for free. So this is how to look.
There are already many private hotels (very decent, besides! ) here - with swimming pools, and with comfortable rooms, and with their own restaurant. Everything is as it should be. It's just that everything is in development. And in Yalta there are several departmental boarding houses that will give odds to any European resort, although prices are much lower. I'll post pictures - take a look.
Personally, I love Urzuf. Small quiet village. Nice beach, clean sea, friendly people. Here you can go to relax from the hustle and bustle.
Conclusion: children - only in Azov, in a few years you will see how useful the Azov sun, steppe and sea were. With a wallet not too thick - easily here (students, novice workers in various fields of activity). Just sleep off and get away from everyone. If you expect vigorous activity from the rest, it is better to go to some Turkey, although you will spend much more money, and the result is still unknown what it will be.
