I apologize to everyone who was waiting for my review earlier, but the accumulated cases have only now allowed me to sit down for a review, while the memories are still fresh in my memory.
So, apparently, global warming is also making its own adjustments to the weather of the extreme Volyn north / west, because out of all 10 rest days we swam and sunbathed exactly all 10 days, it got a little colder only by the day of departure. So, do not be confused by Internet horror stories about the rampant and prolonged rainy weather of Svityaz, everything flows, everything changes.
And now, actually, about the "hotel".

Check-in in it from 2 pm, so having a lot of time left, because the Kyiv train arrives at 7.40, we went to the bus station, since it is next to the railway station, we took a ticket (42 UAH) for a minibus at 11.40, and spent all their free time getting to know Kovel. A clean, glorious little town, with a beautiful park, churches, a worthy monument to Lesya Ukrainka and a real pantheon near the monument to Shevchenko, everything pointed to its proximity to European borders and it did not disappoint us.
Unlike the tiny minibus Lutsk-Gryada, in which there was even nowhere to put bags in the luggage compartment and we were forced to take one with us into the cabin. The ride is not pleasant and easy, the beat-up Mercedes was packed with people, stuffy and groaning. There are no such people on the roads of Kyiv and the region for probably 10 years (((
Having arrived at the place, Yulia already knew from the previous review that the base was at the very beginning of the Ridge, and this, indeed, was the case, behind us there were only three bases and a field-forest. The manager, who did not introduce himself to us and then also greeted us every other time, "delighted" us and said that all 2-bed rooms are "on the roof", i. e. attic, there could be no talk of living on the second floor, because The "crowding" of their rooms is to the eyeballs, whether it was so or not, but they had to drag themselves along the terrifying, external stairs to their third floor.
Therefore, for people with sore legs, hearts and young children, I highly recommend checking everything in advance and settling on the floor below, at least.

The room, yes, is all lined with wood and, despite the only roof window, it was not hot, when the temperature outside did not exceed 30, there were several days, very hot and stuffy, when even the fan coped with difficulty . . In the room, above there was a boiler hanging by the bed, so the water was always hot and the shower cabin was also in good condition, there was no smell of dampness and plumbing. There was a satellite TV and a weak fridge. BUT, this stinginess for soap, towels and toilet paper, not to mention taking out the garbage and changing bed linen, speaks, in principle, of the infancy of the Volyn tour business, like everything else around. Moreover, price-quality has long been not in favor of Svityaz-Center, there are a lot of excellent recreation centers around it with modern cottages and budget houses, such indifference towards vacationers is simply not clear, like, but where will they go anyway they will come.
The canteen cooks not badly, the food is close to homemade, the menu is scheduled for a week and does not change the whole summer, but since vacationers, as a rule, do not live there for more than 14 days, it is not very boring. Breakfast, dinner - 35, lunch 60 UAH.
In general, the territory is not large, green, and in addition to 2 buildings, similar to a children's slide, another four-story building is being built, but I think that household services will not increase there if the reviews on the Internet practically do not change over the years.
The beach is right behind the building, but very small, dirty and crowded, the sand is not combed in any way, we went to other beaches and to the Central. Lake Svityaz is a wonderful creation of nature, but for some reason it is actively overgrown with reeds. Yes, it is shallow, so a PARADISE for preschoolers, the rest, to a relative depth, will definitely have to walk 100 meters.
The Ridge itself is a dusty country road with shops, a bazaar and a couple of drinking establishments, civilization stopped there during its active construction in the 70s. The disco, as Julia wrote, is not particularly audible, as it is located in the center. If you do not organize your own vacation, you risk howling from boredom and monotony.
As for excursions, this is a separate song, we found them ourselves and literally "bombed" these individuals and the "excursion bureau" to take care of us. Thus, it was possible to go to Brest / Belovezhskaya Pushcha the day before, in a terribly gouged UAZ, over the overgrown, practically, the rest of the lakes of the Shatsk Reserve and the places of the First World War, which took place in those places. A private entrepreneur Vladimir drove to Brest, along the Shatsky Lakes - the travel agency "Active-Svityaz" was late for his own tour by almost an hour. Phoenix, for some reason, rejected us, promising to call back, but never did it . .

Eel, terribly expensive, the most fat and skinny started from 230 to tyshshi.
In a word, build your vacation as you want, then, at the exit, you will get, I would not call Gryada a noisy youth resort, although youth companies (in good drunk, as a rule) really were there, but 70-80 percent , this is a family vacation with children of all ages and classes. And everything that concerns infrastructure, everyday life, is waiting for its Saakishvili.
