I was treated at the Almaz sanatorium at the end of October 2012. The last time I was in this sanatorium was 3 years ago on an economy ticket. The most negative memories remained - the lack of repair in the room, old broken furniture, poor food. This time I decided not to risk it and bought a “superior” room with buffet meals. The impressions are generally good, the room has been renovated and furnished for about 5 years, the windows are plastic, the heating battery with a temperature controller, which was very important, since The range of air temperature outside varied from 2 degrees below zero to 15 degrees Celsius, and it was possible to create a comfortable temperature in the room. I can’t write that everything in the room was perfect - something was broken, but you can live.
Buffet food: I’ll say right away that it is completely dietary and quite varied. A large selection of vegetables, constantly fish, steam cutlets, chicken, 3 types of first courses, delicious cottage cheese for breakfast and dinner. There is only one drawback - you can’t be late. The principle - who woke up first - that and slippers is embodied here. I have no serious complaints about the quality of food.
The medical base has been preserved. Nothing new has appeared, but everything that was built before has not yet been destroyed.

In general, I am satisfied with the treatment at the Almaz sanatorium. I can recommend it to unpretentious people who primarily need treatment and dietary nutrition. Who is more demanding and wants a more varied diet, I recommend the sanatoriums Geneva, Rixos, Miratel.
