We stayed in this complex for a week in August 2014. I am writing to stay, because it could be called a vacation very conditionally.
This was my first trip with a small child (1 year and 4 months old). I am writing a review based on my expectations - other categories of tourists could have completely different impressions.

About the good:
Magnificent territory - well-groomed, green, with flowers and lawns, with landscaping. Small open enclosures with rabbits and pheasants - the children are delighted. Lots of security both day and night. Uncles with the inscription "Guard" ply around the territory, and this is not at all superfluous, given that the pool and bar are also open to guests from outside.
Kettle in the room, pump bottles with drinking water - in each house, clothes dryer and board with iron - on each floor.

They put a decent crib for my daughter, they cleaned it well, towels and linen were changed regularly.
Everything about the good.

On the phone when booking, the hotel employee assured me that they have all the conditions for a holiday with small and very young children, including diet food. Unfortunately, she forgot to mention that there are no ramps anywhere in the hotel, and there are no elevators either. Three times a day, running up the marble stairs with a child under his arm to the dining room on the second floor is an amateur entertainment. To drink coffee - on the third. In your own room on the second floor - countless times.
Rooms are a separate issue. Arriving at the hotel in the morning, we immediately paid for an early check-in, received the keys to the room and found that it did not have air conditioning. On the booking site.
com the hotel claims that there are air conditioners in the “standard” rooms, there are no such mentions on its own website, but they told me on the phone that there are air conditioners in the “standards”. The weather is hot, there are mosquito nets on the windows, which trap not only mosquitoes, but also any movement of air. To my question, the receptionist answered that they only have air conditioners in rooms on the second floors. Why didn't you tell me when booking? “And we gave you the room number (? ), this is the first floor. ” How the tourist should know the equipment of the hotel rooms remained a mystery to me, but we asked for a different number. Another room, on the second floor, was just being vacated (8 am), they said that the maids would come to clean at 10, and would be ready by 11 at the most. We were waiting for our room until 4 pm! The maids came and went to clean other rooms, were rude on the phone to the girl from the reception and hung up. At 4 pm we finally went to our room.

And we decided to take a shower from the road, which turned out to be a fatal mistake - in five minutes, 5 cm of rain fell on the floor from a broken shower tray, you could wash your feet just by going to the bathroom. The air conditioner that had set all the fuss on fire roared like a wounded buffalo, shaking the walls. On this day, there was no longer any strength for anything, in the morning of the next day we again went to change the number. Got a neighbor. Here the shower did not flow, the air conditioner roared the same way, but it cooled properly. On the Turpravda website, one tourist wrote (also in a review about Vernigor) that she didn’t even have to step into the log cabins. After living in it for a couple of days, I understood very well what she meant. Everything creaks - doors, stairs, bed, there is no soundproofing at all, mosquito nets on the windows train cunning and courage in mosquitoes and they fly through the cracks under the door and out of the bathroom. Refrigerator Candy had to be unplugged.
Because at the same time there could only be one thing - either sleep, or enjoy the work of this household unit. I want to note that TVs are cool: LCD, large diagonal and read flash drives. They saved a lot on plumbing - the faucets and the shower cabin were the cheapest you can probably find on the market, they functioned accordingly - the doors did not fit well, they moved with difficulty, puddles on the floor were inevitable, the heated towel rail was leaking through a crack.
Move on. Food.
"Diet" food was a "Swedish line" of very strange dishes, most of which were not only not dietary, but were designed to harm taste and health. In fact, it was the assortment of a Soviet rural restaurant - classic zrazy, meatballs, stuffed cabbage rolls with rice and meat trimmings, a seaweed swamp in which bell pepper cubes float.
Also, the restaurant, apparently, was lucky enough to get somewhere an inexhaustible source of sour cream (or just expired), - sour cream was in everything: boiled potatoes with sour cream, fried chicken with sour cream, stewed eggplants with carrots and sour cream. There was never cottage cheese, yogurt, fresh cheese for breakfast, the usual hotel omelette, which is prepared by absolutely everyone all over the world, was replaced by crispy scrambled eggs, fairly oiled. All very fried, thickly flavored. Killed a salad of raw cucumbers, boiled cauliflower, peas and cheese.
We tried to order an omelette with vegetables and an omelette with cheese from the breakfast menu, we also got a fatty fried crispy pancake, in which canned corn was wrapped (this is with vegetables) and the same pancake with ham (this is with cheese). By the way, the prices in the menu of the bar, restaurant and grill cafe are Kyiv prices.

WiFi is free throughout the property and the signal is strong.

There are problems with mobile communication - it is available only in a few points. Newly arrived vacationers can immediately find these points by the cluster of people talking on the phone. The bar on the third floor of the restaurant building has two computers for public use. The Internet is declared, but in fact I could not use it even once in a week, all the time something was wrong with the modem. Monsters can be driven, they are "loaded" regularly, judging by the satisfied teenagers.

Swimming pool. Nice, big, clean. 50 UAH per hour or 100 UAH per day. They let not only hotel guests, but also anyone who wants to. On weekends, people come from Truskavets just to spend time there. The pool is located in a separate building, closed with a glass structure, in good weather, sun loungers are taken out into the street, you can sunbathe. The pool has a children's section 3*3m, with warmer water. There are no handrails, steps for descending into the water in this compartment.
Adults sat on the floor, lowered their legs into the children's pool, then lowered the children there. It's just some nonsense. Parents also took their children with them to the adult pool. I noticed that small children in the pool are naked, I asked at the front desk what it is, in general, they say - you can run your daughter naked too. Possible infantile "accidents" do not worry them at all. That is, comrades, draw conclusions - do not drink water from the pool)) Inside the building there is a bar with milkshakes, oxygen foam and other healthy drinks.

Pump room and treatment.
We have been to Truskavets many times, we know water and treatment, and we really hoped to treat my mother a little. In "Vernigor" there is a pump room with imported water, they say that it is delivered three times a day. I doubt. Once a day, before dinner, this water is almost similar to Truskavets Naftusya. The other two times - not similar in taste or smell.
They said, they say, she runs out of steam while they take her. I doubt it again - it’s 6 km to Truskavets and 10 minutes by car, nothing can run out of steam during this time, it’s more likely that they take it once a day, and then dilute it.
Mom went to see a doctor, wanted to buy a weekly treatment package (1400 UAH, 16 procedures, ultrasound, tests, consultation), she heard that if she is 70 years old, high blood pressure and sugar, then they can’t offer her anything.

On the other hand, those vacationers with whom we talked highly praised the medical facilities and the friendly attitude of doctors and staff.
We had a chance to get acquainted with the chief physician Pavel Ivanovich. I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his sensitive and attentive attitude towards my daughter when she fell ill. He didn’t prescribe extra medicines, didn’t pump them up, but he began his working day with a visit to sick children. He came to us to listen to the heart and lungs. There is no pharmacy in the hotel, you can make an order at the reception.
Employees pass the application to their driver, he brings the necessary things once a day. You can go to Truskavets yourself to the pharmacy (taxi 60 UAH one way).
What else is good for children - an amazing animator girl Svetlana works there. Toddlers and teenagers are crazy about her, there are always some events - they are sculpted from clay, then they paint something, in the evenings there is a disco. It didn’t fit us by age yet, but children over 3 years old will be busy and happy.

The public does not go to Vernigora, I wrote about taxi prices. The hotel does not have its own transfer, more precisely, they order an ordinary Truskavets taxi by phone. Outside the territory you can walk towards the neighboring sanatorium (to the right). If you overcome 300 meters of pits and potholes of the "road", you will find there an old Soviet hospital with a huge well-groomed territory.
There is excellent vegetation, smooth, without pits, asphalt paths, a stadium and simple resort entertainment, such as selling berries, nuts, tracksuits and diamonds from a stall.

As a result, the impressions of "Vernigora" are ambiguous. People spent a lot of money on land, buildings, landscaping and bison)), but saved on all sorts of nonsense, like cheap Chinese Midea air conditioners, on taps, ramps. Ignorance at every turn.

I think that rest here can be successful under certain conditions: 1. Do not get into the 9th building, there is a problem with plumbing and air conditioning. In the 7th, where my mother lived, everything was fine. 2. Travel with a large group of friends and occupy neighboring rooms so as not to be annoyed by hearing. 3. Travel with children over 3 years old or without children at all (but this is only if strangers do not annoy, because in summer there are darkness for children). 4. Put up with such food or eat at a grill bar.
Although ...in the restaurant I even saw a book of thanks for such delicious food, and the zrazy were scattered in a second with burning eyes, heaping them on a plate in a slide.
We survived a week out of the planned two and fled to Skhodnitsa to Santa Maria. It turned out to be much better there, a separate review about this.
