It so happened that I had to go on business trips to Truskavets during October 2006 - March 2007 repeatedly. At first I stayed in the "Castle" 3 or 4 times. For different periods - from 2 to 5 days. Do not believe the promises of breakfast, dinner and other culinary delights. Even though the hotel was booked the day before leaving Kiev, the next morning I heard the same thing: "and we did not have time to order food. " On the 2nd, 3.4th day of their stay they still "did not have time". He did not ask for any exotic dishes: coffee, tea and a light breakfast of eggs or sausages.
The hotel is located on the remote outskirts of Truskavets in the private sector, so it is unrealistic to have breakfast somewhere nearby, you have to walk 1.5 kilometers to the city. The hotel is terribly cold, probably the owners are saving for us. Our remarks about the cold did not add an extra blanket to the bed. But I didn't want to get out from under the blankets and take a shower.
And the last trip forever discouraged the desire to visit the "Castle".

All the above shortcomings, as always, took place, but the final parting was shocking. As usual, after living another 2 days, before leaving in the morning we were asked how much money we had (traveled with a colleague and rented, respectively, 2 rooms on the floor). I do not remember the absolute numbers, but the stated cost of the room was more than twice the price we paid for all previous trips.
If I'm not mistaken, the price has risen from 200 to 450 hryvnia per room per night. To our question: why is it so expensive? maid replied: "and I called this morning the hostess, she said that you need to take so much from you. " Without any explanations, apologies or comments. But it was possible at least at the settlement 2 days ago to warn that we have risen in price! Then they would think whether it was worth enduring the cold in the rooms, the lack of breakfast, the distance from civilization for such money!
I did not visit the "Castle" anymore and preferred to stay in other hotels. Sad.
