I decided to write a review about the boarding house Ruta, which is located in Zatoka (still fresh in my memory, as they say). As a preface: my wife and I live in Belgorod (Russia). We decided to relax by the sea for a few days. I wanted to go somewhere near Odessa. They advised us to Zatoka, and in it the boarding house "Ruta". I looked at a boarding house on the Internet, I was pleased with the prices, most importantly, it was written that there was a beach. I contacted the manager by E-mail, they issued me an invoice for prepayment (Suite room). I printed it out, paid through Sberbank, sent a scanned copy of the payment document to the managers with a request to confirm the reservation. For three days there was no answer, no greetings, then they wrote that the money had come, we confirmed the reservation, but they didn’t write, because. only in the morning we saw the money in the account (troubles with a foreign currency account). I think they could have written earlier, something like: “money is on the way, don’t worry, as soon as we see it, we’ll let you know”, I would be calmer.
We arrived at the boarding house, the administrator greeted us warmly, quickly arranged everything, told where our building was and how to get there. They settled us without any problems and wished us a good rest. First impressions of the room - horror! Then the emotions subsided and my wife and I consoled ourselves with the fact that we still took the Suite... and not just an ordinary room. Of course, the money is not very big, but, for example, in Kharkov for less money (350 UAH / day) you can take a GORGEOUS (compared to this) room for two (far from a luxury, but the cheapest (Mercury hotel, you can see for yourself)) . So, I digress. If you don’t really find fault, then the really very bad thing in the room is the bathroom, which is a sink, a mirror, several hangers, a toilet bowl, a trash can, a shower hose and a hole in the floor. That is, when you wash yourself in the shower, all the water pours onto the toilet and doors, there is no curtain or separate shower at all. In fairness, it is worth noting that there was always hot water. The rest of the room is quite tolerable: two TVs: one large in the hall, the other small in the bedroom. Two air conditioners: window type in the hall, normal in the bedroom. Sofa in the living room and a bed (double type) in the bedroom. It smells, however, this bed or linen on it is not very good. The view from the room is nothing.
I liked the area. Clean, well-groomed, flowers smell nice. The territory of the beach - respect to them and respect - did not disappoint. In the morning, a man walked and sifted sand. Bottles, cigarette butts and other crap were also removed. In general, the beach really liked! The water, in my opinion, is dirty, but this is not surprising, since you can just walk to the buoys, i. e. 30-40 meters from the shore, and the depth is 1.6-1.7 m. My wife liked this state of affairs, but I didn’t really, but it tastes like... Dining room. HORROR!! ! Especially the first day. The cooks are college girls and boys (no comment). On the second day it was tastier, on the third it was even tastier. (in short, if you want to eat, you will eat, you can’t get anywhere). But cheap. 70 kopecks hryvnia for 3 meals a day - if only they had prepared something else. In front of the boarding house, a man is always on duty with a pistol (by the way, I have not seen this in other boarding houses). Service is normal. I read a lot of reviews that the staff is rude, etc. , apparently corrected. In the morning they wish you good morning, they don’t send you anywhere, they clean the room at the first request.

General impressions: a good economy class holiday. The guys have everything to make a great VIP class vacation (hire good chefs, make repairs in the rooms), but so far they don’t want to or can’t. We will not return the second time, we still want normal conditions in the room. Thus, from the pros we can note the price, the state of the beach and the territory, the attitude of the staff. Of the minuses - the condition of the rooms, the quality of the food. Good luck and have a great holiday!!!
P. S. A kilometer from the boarding house there is a small market where they sell fish. So, the fish there is good, but expensive, and, as we were told, they bring it from Belgorod-Dnestrovsk. On Monday we went to Belgorod-Dnestrovsk (20 km by car along a good road, in the city at the first traffic light on the main road you need to turn right, then go straight to the Ruta department store, there will be a market next to it). Unfortunately, on Monday almost everything was closed, and then we bought a bunch of fish at a very good price (one and a half to two times cheaper than in Zatoka). It seems that if you go on another day, there will be just a chic selection of various fish (just buy not in closed patches, but from people under a common large canopy (I don’t know what this place is called)). Good luck!
