Decided with the hotel at the last moment. Where they wanted, there were no more places. We stopped at the Grand Hotel because of the pool and the relatively new rooms.

But what a disappointment it was when almost all the information that was on the office. The site of this hotel turned out to be false.

Firstly, this is not the village of Zatoka, but the village of Karolino-Bugaz. Terrible road to the hotel, narrow, with uneven slabs, around, excuse me, bureaucrats and abandoned areas, the railway.

Secondly, the developed infrastructure - there are no comments at all. There is absolutely nowhere to go, shops and a bazaar are located across the railway. The ones nearby have more expensive prices and not as much choice. I had the feeling that I was on a deserted island, where I didn’t want to go outside the hotel at all.


On the phone I was told that children's animation 2 times a week. In fact, we got to it 1 time - and then, it was an animation for half an hour for the little ones. My children refused to participate.
Breakfasts are so-so. You can, of course. I was forbidden to take out pancakes for children. Although, in front of my eyes, people repeatedly took out full plates of food and no one made any comments to them.

There are no smoking signs near the pool. But some "people", not embarrassed, smoke in the faces of children right by the pool and no one from the administration even leads by ear, and ashtrays are brought from the cafe.

Rooms that do not overlook the pool overlook the construction of another base and the kitchen of the hotel. From the kitchen, smells rush into the room and even the smell of food penetrates the toilet. Also, through the window, deep in the evening, you can hear music from another base and a moving train. When you check in, they will not tell you the rules or they will tell you something completely different from what will actually happen. How it happened for us. To my remarks, the hostess of the hotel (the woman at the reception called herself that) said that she was the hostess here and she would enter the rooms when she saw fit, without asking me. Like I'm nobody here at all, although I paid a lot of money. And if I don't like something, then we can no longer come. We will take your advice and will not come again))

There were some positives too, of course:
- wonderful pools, clean;
- good rooms, clean as well, with a good repair;
- a playground, although small, but the children liked it, because there were many children, then there was someone to play with;
- excellent waiters, it is clear that the guys tried (except for the ashtrays);
- BBQ area.
We did not like it, it was somehow uncomfortable, we left with joy. There are plenty of other options that are much better. You just need to book in advance.
