Feedback Kurpaty hotel (Druzhba and Palmiro Togliatti buildings) We rested in the third building number 338 the name of the sleeping building only to sleep in the room there was no TV fridge iron fan but we put up with it. Clean sea sea air. Breakfast lunch dinner liked all the fresh variety The staff in the dining room Welcoming and friendly quality at the highest level We will come again.

We rested with my son 5 years old in September 2016 in a double room in the Druzhba building. The view was beautiful, on the sea. The building has long been in need of repair - the walls and floors are shabby, the furniture is old. The carpet in the hallway was torn to pieces. The windows that go into the inside of the building are dirty, obviously washed for several years! The room has been recently renovated.

Beach towel requested 3 times from the maid! She brought it only after a complaint to the administrator and was offended that they complained about her. The maids were cleaned somehow, although at this time half of the rooms were already free.
I don’t want to remember how they are fed at all, it was a nightmare! There was no meat at all, at best, offal, and then cooked disgustingly. As I found out later, it was the cooks who corrected themselves and began to cook better. Before our arrival yesterday's cold porridge was mixed with newly cooked. Several people got poisoned, and only after the scandal with the management, they began to cook better. We ate pancakes, which were cooked right there. There were almost no fruits. Rescued the store next door, which bought food and fruit.
The sanatorium invites for treatment and children from 4 years old. In fact, there is nothing for them. No children's room, no entertainment. Treatment is also not provided for them either on a par with adults. For example, there is no children's salt cave. No child can stand to sit and be silent for half an hour together with adults. If the children start talking, the nurse runs in and starts to resent. My son refused to go there. The doctor could not offer any more treatment for him. Money for the treatment of the child was spent just like that.
The only good thing was the sea. The beach is clean.
The advertising photos show 2 hotel buildings, but in fact the building along the sea is a completely different hotel. The Palmyra building is on the other side and it is not in any of the photos. My husband and I love Crimea very much at any time of the year, we come at least 8 times a year for 3-7 days. For a long time, my husband and I dreamed of relaxing in a Soviet-era sanatorium with a good medical base and a healthy diet, because before that we mostly rested in good hotels or rented comfortable housing with a good repair.

On one of the sites, we learned about the Kurpaty sanatorium, supposedly the best health resort in Crimea. We decided to go to the May holidays with a child of 9 years old, anticipating the upcoming relaxing holiday combined with recovery, booked a 2-storey suite for 1120 UAH / day with 3 meals a day.
What followed was a nightmare! At the reception we were given the keys to 3 rooms to choose from. I will say that the choice is difficult, because despite the strong fatigue from the road and the desire to quickly check in, they experienced a shock. All rooms are dirty with broken glass and mirrors, broken doors, etc. The room smells of mice and urine, dust is everywhere, the furniture is old and dirty, all the walls are hung with dark dusty mirrors, instead of bed linen there are torn darn rags, the mattresses are dirty with divorces and stains. Slept in clothes! In our room, we counted 3 pieces. old Soviet radios that don't work and hang in the most unexpected places. The taps are flowing, at night you listen to the constant sound of falling drops, the room itself is dark and creates an oppressive depressive mood. Th ephone is not working. And this is a deluxe room. Daily cleaning of the room is not provided at all, as I understand it. Dead birds and insects are lying on the balcony with a beautiful view of the sea.
Seeing this horror, we went to the reception to collect our money, to which the administrator reassured that at first everyone was scared, then, after 2 days they got used to it !! ! They promised to return the money in 2 days, if we don't "get used to it"!
The building itself is in a very run down condition. The walls are 70% glass, which has cracked for 30 years and is very dirty, almost does not let in sunlight. The building is round in shape, in the center there is a shaft-well for the entire height of the building. Dark narrow corridors in a circle with the constant persistent smell of urine.
The general spectacle was reminiscent of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor after the explosion!
Separately, I will say about food. We were placed in a commercial hall. The restaurant stood out from the general picture with a good repair and good service. BUT FOOD!!!
IN HEALTHY!! ! The restaurant does not even have water, drinks are cocoa-colored marsh water and EVERYTHING! Of the dishes - 3 types of beetroot, 2 types of cabbage, rotten small fish of unknown origin, and the signature dish - a sandwich with mayonnaise and ATTENTION !! ! - a quarter of sprats in the middle !! ! all these pickles are pathetically carried by the waiters! We were forced to dine in a paid cafe on the beach (lunch for three - about 300 UAH), or have a snack in a cafe near the reception for money.
It was also unpleasantly surprised that the sanatorium did not have a park zone at all.
The only advantage is a magnificent natural beach!
In general, they ate after holding out for two days, took the money and left for the long-tested hotel 1001 nights in Miskhor, where you get to "paradise" for almost the same money. I do not recommend to anyone, even for free!

Машина. Можно поставить наверху, а если нет места, то в любом месте санаторной извилистой дороги, ведущей к морю. Правда, сосны, растущие вдоль дороги, закапали машину смолой, пришлось долго драить. Вывод. Кому жаль машину, не ставьте под деревьями.
Номер. У нас был двухместный на втором этаже с видом на море. Вид с балкона обалденный. Все рассветы наши. Средиземноморские лайнеры снуют туда-сюда. Ароматы сосен смешиваются с ароматом моря. На балконе очень комфортно и тепло, можно принимать солнечные ванны, сидя в деревянном лежаке, можно даже делать физзарядку, поглядывая сверху на инструктора. Если, конечно, предварительно вы уже изучили зарядку на пляже. Кровати удобные, ванное отделение пойдет, пару раз барахлила канализация, ароматы были не очень. Полотенца с собой можно не везти, выдается достаточное количество, и часто меняется. Минус - из-за специфики строения самого здания, получается что то вроде усилителя звука и нежный шелест прибоя превращался в звуки шторма. Меня убаюкивало, а муж первое время очень мучился. Надо привыкнуть или менять номер на северный.
В здоровом теле - здоровый дух. Было две очень милых женщины, ведущих всевозможные шейпинги, антицеллюлитные упражнения, дыхательные упражнения, йогу. Инструктор по йоге подходила к делу очень ответственно, занималась утром со всеми желающими на берегу моря по 40 минут, самочувствие потом весь день было потрясающее. Йога чередовалась с обычными упражнениями, через день. Обычные сели, встали, наклонились. Вела другая инструктор, подходила к делу формально. Мужу очень понравились дыхательные упражнения, которые наши инструкторы проводили в сосновой роще санатория "Горный". Тренажерный зал , на мой взгляд, сильно устарел. Беговая дорожка сломана. Для женщин там ничего нет, а для мужчин пойдет, кто любит тренироваться с тяжестями.
Еда. Не супер. Но вполне съедобно. Очередь к творожной запеканке была до 15 человек, к остальным блюдам меньше. Иногда приезжали люди на какой нибудь симпозиум, и столовая начинала работать в усиленном режиме, и очереди были приличные. На меня грубо наорал мужик с такого видимо симпозиума, потому что решил, что я у него из-под носа забираю последний кусочек запеканки. Совковое мышление не так легко искоренить, увы. Молодые девушки и юноши, работающие на раздаче, очень понравились. Не понравилась администратор на входе, которая в день приезда заявила, что сухпайки они не выдают и все отменили. Мы удивились и выяснили, что ничего не отменяли. Сухпайки позорные. Два кусочка хлеба, иногда с тонким ломтиком сыра, пол-литровая бутылочка воды, помидор размером с крупную черешню или огурец, пачка печенья, яблоко. Спасибо и на этом, как говорится. В дальние экскурсии спасались тем, что с утра заваривали овсянку с медом, так что электрочайник с собой взять не помешает.
Бассейн. Отличный бассейн, только мелковатый. В самом глубоком месте по шею.

We left Kyiv in the evening, in the morning we were in the Crimea. A taxi from Simferopol to Kurpaty cost me 200 gr. Which is cheap, in my opinion.
We arrived at Druzhba, gave a voucher and a letter stating that the company allows me to share the voucher in half with my daughter. The voucher contains the data-Palmira Togliatti, double room, north.
Then our adventures began.
-the administrator immediately told us that they would only settle in a room with a similar situation. Those. there is someone who divided the ticket in half and already lives in the room. I tried to be indignant and showed a ticket that social insurance paid us a full-fledged double room! But... my aunt said either so or not at all.
We agreed, paid for three days (such rules are everywhere, the minimum period of rest is 12 days) and we were given a pass, food stamps and a room.
Go to our building 500 meters. In a straight line 200 meters, but these are mountains, there are no straight roads.
When we got there... everything was sad....but they were only flowers!
We were settled in a room on the first floor, very dark with a dirty balcony. The number is about 10-12 squares. It has two beds and two cots. two bedside tables and a shabby table. a mirror and a small TV.
The bathroom is very clean, a new shower tray without curtains, a shower with a rubber hose, a clean toilet bowl, the walls are freshly painted with peach oil paint. Hot water according to the schedule from 13 to 20
The room is covered with floral wallpaper, torn in places from under which the wall, painted with green oil paint, shines through with broken shreds. Near the sockets and switches, the wallpaper is greasy with fingers... in the hallway there is a refrigerator, an old one, but it is there. Truth buzzes at night like a locomotive.
In the evening, the young ladies and I decomposed to sleep, arranged folding beds, there was only space left for a narrow passage to the toilet. Then I discovered that my daughter and I had one blanket for two. I go to the night attendant and ask her for a blanket. She tells me that there are no more blankets. I ask her, how can I sleep then? The answer was discouraging! - "But sleep like that")))
I came to the room, forlornly covered myself with a sheet, it’s September outside, the night is cool... I’m lying . . I put on a warm tracksuit, socks...
The two ladies like to watch TV until 1 am, we like to sleep early. In general, they made each other uncomfortable. I didn't sleep well, it was cold. True, I had two pillows))))!
In the morning I came back to the reception. I asked very much to move to a suite with a surcharge. The administrator told me in a peremptory voice that if I don’t like it, then I can move into a room with only one woman, and my daughter can rent a room in the private sector. And we will meet with her on the beach. And looking at her daughter, she venomously remarked that she already has a big muzzle. Guys. . . the child is thirteen years old! What a dick? The little one was upset.
I'm going to breakfast. Buffet. There is a lot of food. True a lot. Varied but inedible. I ask for scrambled eggs or porridge, they answer me, pay extra for 70 grams and go to the commercial catering hall. But I was already very sad.
I'm calling social security. I say that guys, we did not agree on this! You paid me a double room, and I live in it four. They promise to do something. I'm waiting. I'm going to the beach. The beach is very nice and clean. We sunbathe. Water is cold. We decide to go to the pool.
The pool is closed! It is opened only when the water temperature is 18 degrees. Excuse me, but even at 20 it’s not very good to swim.
I go to the reception, return the ticket. And we decide with a small one that we should have a rest! We take a car and drive to Alushta. For 1500 UAH we rent a room from the owners. The hostess, Raechka, is the sweetest woman. The room is large and comfortable, plasma is worth, cable TV. The kitchen is modern and spacious, everything is sparkling clean. The yard is excellent, barbecue facilities, gazebos. Near a large bazaar, walk for 8-10 minutes and an atb store. To the sea on foot 10 minutes.
Paid for 10 days as much as paid extra for a ticket 1500 gr.
We prepared whatever we wanted. The neighbors were great. Some from Moscow, others from St. Petersburg. Everyone was happy. We went to the mountains for a picnic, to the sea. In the evening there were barbecues and soulful songs. A grandmother came to us from Kyiv. Raya settled her for free. There were three beds in the room, with good mattresses.
Our holiday was a success! The weather is wonderful. We went to the water park. Baldeli and sunbathing.

4500 gr total
For comparison, a ticket to Kurpaty costs 5500.
Conclusion: we read the classics "a fairy tale about a priest and his worker Baldu" moral - you would not chase, priest, for cheapness!

The administrator told me in a peremptory voice that if I don’t like it, then I can move into a room with only one woman, and my daughter can rent a room in the private sector. And we will meet with her on the beach. And looking at her daughter, she venomously remarked that she already has a big muzzle. Guys. . . the child is thirteen years old! What a dick? The little one was upset.
I'm going to breakfast. Buffet. There is a lot of food. True a lot. Varied but inedible. I ask for scrambled eggs or porridge, they answer me, pay extra for 70 grams and go to the commercial catering hall. But I was already very sad.

I go to the reception, return the ticket. And we decide with a small one that we should have a rest! We take a car and drive to Alushta. For 1500 UAH we rent a room from the owners. The hostess, Raechka, is the sweetest woman. The room is large and comfortable, plasma is worth, cable TV. The kitchen is modern and spacious, everything is sparkling clean. The yard is excellent, barbecue facilities, gazebos. Near a large bazaar, walk for 8-10 minutes and an atb store. To the sea on foot 10 minutes.
Paid for 10 days as much as paid extra for a ticket 1500 gr.
We prepared whatever we wanted. The neighbors were great. Some from Moscow, others from St. Petersburg. Everyone was happy. We went to the mountains for a picnic, to the sea. In the evening there were barbecues and soulful songs. A grandmother came to us from Kyiv. Raya settled her for free. There were three beds in the room, with good mattresses.
Our holiday was a success! The weather is wonderful. We went to the water park. Baldeli and sunbathing.

Now, as for recovery. Alas, we didn’t get to the procedures (please pay attention to the date of arrival). Summit in the Livadia Palace and plus the Chervonenkov Rally! The route was closed from morning to evening for 3 days and the doctor who was supposed to prescribe the procedures could not physically get from Yalta to the sanatorium, and then there simply would not be enough time for a full course. Therefore, they used climatotherapy with might and main, fortunately, the weather did not let us down, the whole race was fine weather, the water in the sea is clean, it did not fall below 20 degrees, and more often it was 21-22 degrees. The air here is generally beautiful, it is easy to breathe. The beach is wide, there is enough space for everyone. In a cafe on the beach, however, the prices are exorbitant - a bottle of Staropramen beer costs 22 (! ) UAH. At the same time, Livadia wines were found in a shop on the highway: white and pink vermouth, and white and red Muscatel at a price of 20 UAH. liter! And, I must say, very good! I even took it home. So, in general, the holiday was a success. In the morning - to the sea, and then to the minibus and either to Alupka or Yalta, they returned to the room only in the evening. If there is an opportunity to get to Kurpaty again, then regardless of what I wrote above, I will go without hesitation.

Nothing happened to the cars. For those who wish, there is a paid parking lot in the neighboring Gorny sanatorium, but if you plan to use the car every day, then it’s not worth it - it’s quite far on foot.
Then you will be met by friendly administrators. We were offered 2 rooms to choose from. They gave me the keys. We went, looked and stopped at room 519 overlooking the sea and Yalta.
About numbers. Each room has a split-system, wooden furniture, in the same style, a convenient closet, a refrigerator, a TV, 2 beds, an extra folding bed with a mattress, a set of dishes, 2 armchairs, a table and 2 bedside tables. The balcony has folding chairs and a clothes dryer. The room itself is a decent size. In the bathroom there is a shower tray (it looks new), a clean curtain, a sink, a toilet bowl, a wall-mounted hair dryer (not all hair dryers remained intact). White bed linen, new pillows, blankets in the closet. Each is given 3 towels of different sizes. The maid came daily, wiped the dust, took away the trash.
They promised internet in every room, but I saw people with laptops in the reception area on sofas.
About the dining room. Dining room on the 7th floor with stunning panoramic windows overlooking the sea. Air conditioners work under the ceiling. In season there is a buffet. 1.5 hours are given for eating. You come in and you are stunned by how everyone is running around with plates. At first you won’t understand what’s what, but you quickly get used to it. There is a table with spoons, forks, knives and bread. Then there are rows of salads (vegetables are simply cut without dressing). There is also sliced cheese, sausage, butter. Nearby are bowls of mayonnaise, sour cream, carafes of butter, mustard, horseradish, ketchup. Next, barrels with the first hot dishes (usually 3 soups to choose from for lunch, and milk porridges in the morning and evening). Then there are kegs with green tea, black tea, hibiscus tea, compote and boiling water (coffee, sugar and lemon stand separately in dry form). There is a table with fresh buns and milk (jelly, kefir - depending on the time of day). Then there are side dishes, casseroles, stewed vegetables. At the end of the hall - 2 meat dishes to choose from (more often - boiled chicken plus something else - or roasted pork, or stewed heart, or liver, or sausages, or chicken cutlets, etc. ). The beach is our own, wide, there are awnings, but there is practically no place to take (people leave their towels there at night, but they themselves either don’t come at all, or for dinner). But do not be discouraged - there is almost no shadow there either. Free of charge - limited number of wooden sunbeds. Take an unnecessary towel with you and “settle” it on a sunbed for the entire period of rest. For a fee there are plastic sun loungers and umbrellas. And cereals are the cheapest. The fruits were sliced oranges and apples - and this is in fruit season!!! ! Generally a rare sludge. The site says that there is a mud bath, but it is not there at all. There is very little park, and what is left of it in a terrible state, cars drive endlessly under the windows. But this is the territory of the boarding house.
