The opportunity to take a weekend off for the New Year holidays (we rested from 02.01 to 11.01) and the rapidly falling national currency prompted us to try a winter holiday in Ukraine. This type of recreation is the first for me - I love the sea, and for many years I have been trying to go to warmer climes whenever possible, but I have not rested in Ukraine since my student years.

This type of recreation is the first for me - I love the sea, and for many years I have been trying to go to warmer climes whenever possible, but I have not rested in Ukraine since my student years. I’ll clarify that we were going to go two weeks before the New Year, and there was no time to carefully approach the choice of housing, we chose Pervotsvit because there were places, and the cost of the room indicated an acceptable level of the hotel, besides, I liked the location.
When we stopped in, we thought that everything would be fine - the facade and the territory corresponded to what we chose - very nice. But the further - the worse.
Our room was a two-room junior suite for four people (there are three of us) - but how four people can live there normally is a big mystery. One double bed is loose and sagging, with a battered mattress from the Soviet era and the same bed linen, but that's nothing. But the one who will sleep on folding sofas is very unlucky. The sofa is pushed forward, and pillows are placed at the legs, which, when folded, serve as a back - and so, they fall through - and your legs hang down from your knees. Theoretically, a child no older than eight years old can still sleep on this sofa, the length without pillows is enough. Cleaning in the room for 10 days was not carried out even once, somehow they asked at the beginning if it was necessary to clean it - after we refused in the first days, they did not ask again. The trash can is one for the whole room, it is in the bathroom, when they asked for an extra one, they said it was not allowed. When asked to pick up the garbage in the room, we were told to collect it and take it to the corridor - they will then pick it up.
The bathroom, in principle, is normal - combined, large area, tiles - but the rugs instilled horror - it was scary to stand on them even in boots. Hairdryer must be asked at the reception and returned. The room has a cupboard with cutlery, a kettle, and a terribly humming refrigerator that had to be turned off at night to sleep. The TV leaves much to be desired, the bedroom has a decent dining table with chairs.
Meals for an additional fee at the bar (the main restaurant did not seem to be working) - a kind of dining room in the basement with an unpleasant smell. At first, they fed well, until there were no people at all - then they deteriorated here too. I was especially impressed when I went to the bar for coffee in the morning - and already reaching the room, I realized that it was cold (water at room temperature), when I returned and said: - “You made me cold coffee”, I received an answer from the category of a joke - “yes … well, the water probably hasn’t warmed up, but it’s boiled. ” And why be indignant - the main thing is not to get poisoned.
In general, the hotel has a great location above the Prut River, a large area - but the irresponsibility of the staff and owners does not encourage them to return there, and even if the full prepayment for the entire period had not been made, we would not have stayed there for a day. They pointed out the shortcomings in the service and the owners who are there every day - it didn’t lead to anything, they think that everything is in order - no one even apologized. And the closer the day of departure, the worse the attitude, even toilet paper on the last day was given at the insistent request, and then in a mini format.
A few more words about winter holidays in the Carpathians:
Very beautiful nature, clean air, in Bukovel everything is wonderfully done for a winter holiday, but the prices do not match the service, it is not in the Carpathians, regardless of the level of establishments - slowly, and it seems that they are doing a favor. A big minus in Bukovel is that drunk people are allowed on the tracks and the skating rink - this is not safe, first of all, for others. It takes at least an hour to drive from Yaremche to Bukovel - do not believe that 20 minutes. You can arrange a transfer, you can use regular minibuses - but they are always crowded. By the way, there was a case - we got into a minibus - they asked: “will we get to Bukovel? ”, We were answered in the affirmative, then we were dropped off at a fork in the middle of the forest, they said - “Bukovel is there”, and it was still at least 5 kilometers away and we stuck around for about an hour with skis in the forest while we left.
I can’t understand why it’s impossible to make resorts of a decent level with such natural resources? It seems that the mission of the locals is not to win a regular customer, but to "breed a sucker. "

We went with friends for the New Year to the Primrose. The room was occupied by apartments for 8 people. At the price - 1200 UAH per day. Compared to other boarding houses, 750 UAH for 6 days without food per person was quite inexpensive. We went to Chernivtsi, from there by minibus to the boarding house. Room - 3 rooms with kitchen.

Furniture is more or less normal, cleaning the room on request. Soap, towels, paper were provided in the room. Room on the 1st floor near the reception, 1 room - 2 sofas and 4 armchairs with TV (it is passable), 2 other bedrooms, each with 2 combined beds and a sofa, 1 large living room with kitchen and large bathroom. Prepared for themselves. The kitchen has glasses, wine glasses, gas stove with oven, plates, spoons, forks, pots. All the necessary appliances can be taken for a while in the cafe below. The big minus in the room - in the bathroom the whole cabin is leaking and there is not a single door, the shower did not work, so the whole bathroom was constantly in the water.
The territory of the hotel is decent, there is a place to look like, the boarding house has several buildings, there are rooms from economy to decent. There is a boarding house at the end of Yaremche, next to the hotel "Waterfall", there on the 3rd floor there is free Wifi, because in the Primrose it was also, but never worked, built a new beautiful hotel Romantik Spa. You can ask for an iron at the reception. At the bottom there is a cafe, inexpensive, dumplings 10 UAH, salads 5-7 UAH and more. If you want to go to the hut, you can go to the hut "On the stumps", going up the track and you need to go to the right, there is a hut, going up to the left, I do not remember the name. We also went to "Vuyko", located near the boarding house "Karpaty", I also recommend the hut "Citizen" near the restaurant "Hutsulshchyna", it was very tasty! We went to the Probiy waterfall in Yaremche near the market and the Hutsulshchyna restaurant, to the deer enclosure, we wanted to look at the ski lift in Yaremche, but there has been nothing there for a long time. We went to Bukovel by minibus. If someone needs a driver's phone to make an appointment in advance - write. In general, the holiday went well, not the first time in the Carpathians and Yaremche, I really like nature, clean air, delicious food and nice people.
