In mid-October, the weather was rather cool and my sister and I were worried that our vacation would not be entirely comfortable. But when we arrived in Uzhgorod, where we were met by very cordial, wonderful people who love their work and their native land, and were taken to this place of indescribable beauty, our doubts crumbled in an instant! We lived in a wooden cottage: cozy, clean, warm, comfortable, the beauty around is simply breathtaking! We fished (rods are given free of charge), rode bicycles (free of charge), archery, steamed with oak brooms in a luxurious wood-fired sauna, picked mushrooms, went on excursions, conquered the top of Mount Golanya with a local cat.... Here you can also ride horses, play big and small tennis, fry meat or fish on the grill (firewood is free) and much more. All in all, a week wasn't enough! We travel a lot and do not like to be in the same places, but I want to come back here and say a huge thank you to all the hotel staff, where, among other things, we were fed and watered very tasty and varied.
