I booked a vacation for three (for me, my daughter and my mother) from July 11 to 25. "Thanks" to the food at the hotel, my daughter got food poisoning and we had to leave 6 days early. The hotel owner Alexander Vasilyevmch did not return the money paid before the end of the term (although he promised to "consult with the accounting department when they go to work" how to do this. It would be better not to promise. ) This is in short.
Now in more detail.
Hotel transfer costs 450 UAH. Considering that the distance from Mukachevo to Bogolvar is about 30 km, and taxi drivers at the station take you about 200 UAH, the amount is not bad.
As for the transfer of the hotel, I will write one more detail right away, so as not to return to this topic later.

About one of (already! ) two excursions that Bogolvar offers to its guests. It was a trip to the thermal waters in Kosino. Departure from the hotel was announced at 10.00. After 25 minutes of waiting for a bus or a driver, I called the reception and asked if the trip would still take place. The girl assured that in 2 minutes we will go. When the driver came, it turned out that he did not know, either in sleep or in spirit, that he had to drive our group today. Those. The driver was not informed corny! Although the nice girls at the reception regularly took the money for the tour from the evening before and immediately before breakfast in the morning.
The second excursion was a trip to the neighboring village of Seredne to underground wineries. I didn't go so I can't say. In addition, the hotel collected 80 UAH for the trip (transfer). per person (drive about 6-7 km. ).
Reception and accommodation. Nothing extraordinary either in + or in -. Check-in from 14.00. They offer to leave the bags at the reception and take a walk before settling. Our room was still being cleaned at one o'clock. Well, OK.
By numbers. Frankly small. We had a junior suite on the 3rd floor - under a roof that warmed up so well in the 38-degree heat, with tiny windows. Two rooms with an area, probably 10-12 meters each... I'm not sure that it is fashionable to call such conditions junior suites, but oh well, this is not a complaint, but reflections on the topic.
Staff attitude. The girls at the reception answer questions, and more is not required of them. Room cleaning - ok.
Here I want to convey the words of my mother, because. I didn't see it myself. After the excursion to Kosino (16.07) we went to some male monastery, and there my mother bought 6 packs of cheese, which is prepared in this monastery. Six packs of 2 of each type, for a total of three types of cheese. Naturally, vacuum-packed cheese was stored in the refrigerator. So, when we were leaving (19.07), my mother discovered that one pack of cheese was missing in the refrigerator. Hm.
Nutrition. I note right away that in the restaurant you can pay by credit card. Conveniently.
There are two points to be made here. First: I do not advise taking the complex. Breakfasts may be fine, but for dinner we still wanted to choose something to taste, and not wait for what they bring.
There are practically no complaints about the kitchen. The food, of course, is greasy, but there is a choice. I also have no questions for the waiters, on the contrary, I want to express my gratitude to them for their excellent work.

But here's the bar. . . It was because of them that we had to go home. On Friday, 17.07, for lunch we ordered a pack of rich pineapple juice. They brought us pretty rumpled, but not cold, as we asked. Immediately after lunch, my daughter began to feel sick (I’ll make a reservation: she drank rich before, that is, it’s not a new product for her). Before dinner, nausea stopped, immediately after dinner, nausea resumed. In the evening, my mother told me that the juice was expired (we took a pack from dinner to the room). On this issue, I turned to the manager (or the owner, or the director of the base, Aleksanlr Vasilyevich) - my mother, an Odessa woman, met him a few days earlier, he also turned out to be from Odessa. He promised to change the juice, which he did.
The next day, my daughter was vomiting incessantly, and I made up my mind to leave for Kyiv and take her to the doctor. By the way, there is no first-aid post in Bogolvar, and, as I was told, the little nursery has only peroxide and bandages. Keep in mind.
A day after the ill-fated juice, 19. x7, the nausea did not stop again. And we also learned that two more children from vacationers in Bogolvar had vomited the night before. On the morning of departure, Alexander Vasilievich, already familiar to you, at a meeting began to tell us that in the village where the hotel is located (Antalovtsy), "some kind of rotavirus is wandering. "
Okay, but we didn’t go for a walk in the village and, moreover, we didn’t buy any products there. And my daughter had no symptoms of rotavirus - no disorder, no high temperature.
And here's what I thought: at the hotel - this is not some kind of provincial silpo, where products of 10-year-old freshness gather dust on the shelves. The management of the restaurant and hotel (and not me) is obliged to monitor the quality and freshness of the products they feed the guests. And that is why I am outraged to the limit by the fact that the hotel management not only did not return the money for the remaining days of stay, but did not even want to humanly resolve this issue.
Entertainment and infrastructure.
About the spa. There are tiny Jacuzzi tubs in tiny tiled closets.
Mom was satisfied with the massage.
The pool on the street is tiny, in the heat it turns into a broth teeming with adults and children. For kids, every morning, fresh round pools are poured into the ode in the amount of 2 pieces.
Two stretch trampolines. There is no inflatable trampoline as in the photo of the hotelier. Mediocre playground. The wonderful animator Nadya, without her it would be quite dreary. The children's room smelled of mice, the toys were not the first freshness, they had to be cleaned a couple of years ago.

In general, both children and adults in Bogolvar are frankly bored. Wifi is very weak. I heard complaints from guests at the reception that vpi-fi and TV broadcasts often disappear. I don't know, we didn't watch TV.
One of the entertainments in the hotel is a car shop. Come a couple, I beg your pardon, huckster, and lay out on the tables at the playground consumer goods in the form of sawdust, quilted jackets made of sheep's wool, factory-made embroidered shirts. And also some knitwear of Ukrainian and Turkish production. And also dried mushrooms (!!! ! Well done to the owners of the hotel! They are doing the right thing, that they sell mushrooms on their territory, collected by no one knows who and no one knows where! ). And also: Carpathian teas, home-made wine and moonshine (ONCE GOOD FELLOWS! ). And also: smuggled products from neighboring Hungary and Slovakia (these sellers themselves said from om that this was smuggling, and also complained that the recent mess in Mukachevo closed smuggling flows. But, the hucksters expressed hope, not for long).
Such are the impressions of the trip.
Would I recommend a holiday in Bogolvar? - Not. It’s better not to go, and use the money saved to organize a wonderful eco-vacation for yourself in a less barry place in Transcarpathia or the Carpathians.
