We spent the New Year holidays in Bogolvar (we met in 2008). We chose it exclusively on the Internet (I liked the site and the decent reaction of the administrators to our million questions on the phone). Three families with small children were traveling, so they were a little worried about the correspondence of official advertising pictures-stories with reality. It turned out that they were worried in vain. Pros: 1) the meeting and resettlement of guests is clearly organized. We ordered a transfer from Mukachevo - we were met and promptly settled in rooms (without any expectations of the official check-in time). 2) the rooms are very clean, comfortable, warm. 3) the friendliness and friendliness of the staff and administration. I note this in the "pros", because. the majority of our group are Muscovites with a corresponding easily recognizable dialect, and therefore they no longer count on open arms in advance. 4) an absolutely amazing New Year's program - for all tastes, ages (for both children and adults) and countries of residence. The disadvantages include the strong lethargy of the restaurant waiters (but this, as I understand it, is a characteristic feature of all the waiters of Transcarpathia in the conditions of a large influx of visitors). There was practically no snow, which was a little frustrating - it's still winter! - but it didn't spoil the pleasant pastime. We were not originally set up for skiing (and there are no ski lifts), but we enjoyed swimming in a very warm pool, taking all sorts of procedures in an inexpensive SPA by Kiev (and even more so Moscow) standards, playing billiards, We took a steam bath in the bathhouse, drank tea, coffee, and danced in a very cozy bar, leaving the children in the children's room next to it.
And when the ground was lightly covered with snow, we were given hotel sleds, and we introduced both children and ourselves to winter sports. And we also managed to go on an excursion to Uzhgorod and Mukachevo - you can organize it from the hotel, or you can do it yourself, outside the gates of the complex there is a rural bus stop - 40 minutes to Uzhgorod.
We returned home in complete delight from Bogolvar and rest in it.
