We rested with my family in August 2009. We chose the Bogolvar complex on the Internet - we liked the photos, as well as very decent prices. By phone we received full information on all the questions we were interested in (and we had a lot of them).
We arrived, settled... (and no lengthy registration and filling out forms - everything is very prompt). Special thanks to the receptionist Inge for the warm and friendly welcome. In general, the staff is very attentive and helpful, despite the abundance of tourists.
We pre-booked a room with breakfast, because we thought the food was "full board" in domestic rest houses - this is the type of "buckwheat-cutlet-pasta variant". On the day of arrival, we saw the full board menu and were pleasantly surprised: French meat, stuffed loin, pork with mushrooms, salads, all kinds of side dishes... We decided to take board food for one day. I liked it, even the child ate everything, although this is problematic for us. We decided to pay extra for the board for all days, and did not regret it. Separately bought only drinks in the restaurant.

Nature is very beautiful, and the air is generally something! The first days after Kyiv, I only wanted to eat and sleep.
Very good wellness center. Massage is just a fairy tale! After the course you feel reborn. Even the child was healed. Good sauna - very comfortable and clean.
During the day we didn’t climb out of the pool - despite the abundance of tourists and the not very large size of the pool, everyone somehow felt comfortable. The child constantly frolicked either on the playground, or on an inflatable slide, or in the pool. It is very convenient that children are constantly in the field of view of their parents. Children ride around the territory on a horse (although you first need to negotiate for a long time at the reception). There is also cycling for children and adults. My husband is interested in fishing. Once he even proudly presented us with a morning catch for lunch (previously cooked in a restaurant).
During the rest, we went on excursions to Mukachevo and Uzhgorod castles with a very interesting history. In general, the excursions are very interesting. We also went to Beregovo for thermal pools. It's not that we were very fastidious, but after traveling abroad, coastal pools a la the Soviet Union did not work for us. It is better to swim in the non-thermal pool of Bogolvar.
In Bogolvar, an ideal option for a family holiday - quiet, calm. After the bustle of the city, just the soul rejoices. True, on Saturdays, weddings are arranged in the restaurant. The wedding festivities themselves are not audible at night, since the restaurant stands in a separate building on the territory, but the fireworks attached to them are very even. True, it is worth paying tribute to the administration, fireworks are allowed no later than 11 pm.
In general, we were very pleased with the rest! I would also like to come for the New Year, they say it is very beautiful there in winter.
