Vietnam is a unique country. Phan Thiet is a paradise for water sports, but not for lovers of the ideal sea for measured swimming. In my opinion, it was terrible there for the period of my stay - waves and mud, I swam only a few times. This resort is reminiscent of Vietnamese Turkey. Everything is in Russian, only with a Vietnamese flavor. I would like to say the following about the hotel: we went to a deluxe bungalow. The description of the hotel consists of a bungalow - but it's not. The Vietnamese built several 5-storey buildings there! Due to which the hotel has only one free glade! For me, it's cramped, reminiscent of our coastline, where maximum money is extracted from each square meter. Every year, according to the Russians living there permanently, they are completed. Our "deluxe bungalow" is far from deluxe, it's better to take a room on the floor. Once a huge rat ran out of the room!!! ! Which lived as it turned out later under the bridge. The food was average, there were only 2 or 3 kinds of juices. And there is a problem with sunbeds in general - there are so few of them that people occupied normal places from 6 in the morning. Although the beach is wide and could fit 3 rows of them - this is savings !! ! The hotel is very cramped and built up. Everything is beautifully planted with greenery, but not thought out somehow. Relaxing by the pool is not particularly an option - there are few places and there is always not enough. Plus - a bunch of restaurants and shops across the street, but I liked Fukok!
And another transfer from the airport to Phan Thiet is just awful - 5-8 hours on Vietnamese roads, so if you decide not to save money - take a prostitute!
